Gabriel Gomez

Gabriel Gomez
Gabriel Gomez is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s overall strategy, growth, and operational direction. As CEO, Gabriel oversees all facets of the business, guiding the company through continued expansion while maintaining a strong focus on mission alignment, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. He works closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives, manage enterprise risk, strengthen partnerships, and advance O2X’s position as a leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In addition to overseeing day-to-day business operations, Gabriel leads investor relations and financial strategy efforts that have supported the company’s significant year-over-year growth. As one of O2X’s founding members, he has played a critical role in every stage of the company’s development — from its original formation and startup phase through its rapid national expansion and evolution into a trusted provider of human performance programs across military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors.
Prior to founding O2X, Gabriel built a successful career in private equity and investment management, working with firms including Advent International, Summit Partners, and Bowles Hollowell Conner. He also co-founded Equality Asset Management, where he focused on investment strategy and business growth initiatives. In 2013, Gabriel stepped away from Advent International to run for the United States Senate seat vacated by John Kerry, ultimately winning the Republican nomination in the Massachusetts special election. Before his business and political career, Gabriel served as both a Naval Aviator and Navy SEAL Officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy. He later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Gabriel holds a unique place in U.S. Naval history as only the second individual to qualify as both an aircraft carrier pilot and a Navy SEAL Officer, a distinction that reflects the discipline, adaptability, and leadership that continue to shape his approach today.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gabriel remains deeply committed to supporting the military and veteran communities. He is a co-founder of the Navy SEAL Foundation New England and previously served as a Trustee for Noble & Greenough School. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and supporting causes connected to leadership development, service, and resilience. He lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.

Paul McCullough

Paul McCullough
Paul McCullough is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he helps lead the organization’s strategic growth, client engagement, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Adam La Reau and Gabriel Gomez, Paul has played a central role in shaping the company’s mission, culture, and industry-leading human performance model. As President, he focuses on ensuring O2X’s products, programs, and services are positioned to create meaningful impact across military, federal, public safety, and other high-performance organizations. Driven by a deep passion for supporting those who serve others, Paul remains committed to improving the health, readiness, resilience, and performance of tactical populations nationwide.
During O2X’s formative years, Paul led the company’s business development efforts and helped build the customized human performance platform that now supports hundreds of organizations across the United States. He was instrumental in adapting O2X’s methodology to meet the unique operational demands of each client, helping develop many of the programs, services, and solutions that continue to define the organization today. Prior to co-founding O2X, Paul served eleven years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL with SEAL Team Eight and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Throughout his military career, he conducted multiple combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other contingency operations around the world. Paul separated from military service as a Chief Petty Officer and received numerous awards for valor and leadership, including the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with Valor, and two Joint Service Commendation Medals with Valor. Following his military career, Paul worked on the Institutional Sales Team at Eaton Vance Investment Managers before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship and fully dedicate himself to advancing human performance through O2X.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from American Military University and continues to remain deeply connected to the tactical and veteran communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, staying active, and pursuing opportunities that challenge both physical and mental performance. His leadership philosophy continues to reflect the same principles that shaped his military career — discipline, service, resilience, and a commitment to helping others perform at their highest level.

Adam La Reau

Adam La Reau
Adam La Reau is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key leadership role in guiding the organization’s strategic growth, operational direction, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Gabriel Gomez and Paul McCullough, Adam has been instrumental in building the company into a nationally recognized leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performing organizations. In his role as President, Adam helps oversee the continued evolution of O2X’s programs, partnerships, and operational initiatives while ensuring the company remains aligned with its mission of improving the health, safety, readiness, and resilience of those who serve others.
Throughout O2X’s growth, Adam has played a foundational role in developing the organization’s operational infrastructure and translating elite human performance principles into scalable, real-world solutions for military, federal, public safety, and industrial populations. His leadership has helped shape the systems, services, and educational methodologies that continue to define O2X today. Prior to founding O2X, Adam served in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL, where he operated in demanding, high-performance environments that required discipline, adaptability, teamwork, and resilience. His experiences in Naval Special Warfare heavily influenced the development of O2X’s holistic approach to human performance, emphasizing the integration of physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, stress management, and injury prevention to support long-term operational effectiveness and overall well-being.
Adam remains deeply passionate about leadership, performance, and supporting the tactical community through sustainable human performance initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and being with his family and friends. His leadership philosophy reflects the same principles that shaped both his military and professional career — service, accountability, continuous improvement, and a commitment to helping individuals and teams perform at their highest level.

Eamonn Burke

Eamonn Burke
Eamonn Burke is the Executive Vice President of Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads a nationally distributed sales team focused on revenue generation, client retention, and strategic account management. In his role, Eamonn oversees business development initiatives across the organization and helps drive the continued expansion of O2X’s human performance programs within military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors. His strategic leadership and vision have played a significant role in positioning O2X as a national leader in human performance programming for tactical populations and high-performance organizations.
Since joining O2X in 2016, Eamonn has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth strategy, operational sales infrastructure, and client engagement approach. He led the implementation of O2X’s CRM system, developed a scalable sales pipeline, and built a decentralized sales team with nationwide coverage. His ability to foster strong relationships throughout the tactical and public safety communities has contributed significantly to O2X’s consistent year-over-year revenue growth and expanding client footprint. Prior to joining O2X, Eamonn held sales and business development roles with security-focused technology startups, including Resilient Systems and Rapid7, where he specialized in identifying emerging market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
Eamonn is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, where he was also a collegiate baseball player. Outside of work, he is a passionate endurance athlete who has completed nine marathons, a Half Ironman, and three Pan-Mass Challenge cycling events. Eamonn lives in Milton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Darcy, and enjoys pursuing fitness and outdoor challenges alongside his professional career.

John Vargo

John Vargo
John Vargo serves as the Senior Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s municipal sales strategy and supports the development of impactful human performance programs for state and local government agencies nationwide. In his role, John works closely with municipal leadership teams, public safety organizations, and strategic partners to expand O2X’s presence within the fire service, law enforcement, and other tactical communities. Leveraging his operational experience, leadership background, and business development expertise, he helps create customized solutions that improve the health, safety, resilience, and performance of first responders and public sector professionals.
Prior to joining O2X, John completed a distinguished 20-year career with the Chandler Fire Department in Arizona, where he served as an Engineer Paramedic. Throughout his fire service career, he remained heavily involved in leadership and advocacy efforts, serving as an IAFF Union Representative, an Apparatus Committee Member, and co-founding the Chandler FireFighter Athletic Association, which supported firefighter participation in the World Police and Fire Games. In addition to his public safety background, John spent 15 years working in real estate and also served as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR), helping clients and peers navigate asset diversification, portfolio management, and retirement planning strategies. Following his retirement from the fire service, John founded Turn In, a nonprofit organization focused on introducing mindfulness and meditation practices to first responders, and became a recognized keynote speaker on mental wellness, resilience, and stress management within the tactical community.
In 2019, John became an mPEAK-certified instructor through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness and later contributed as an instructor for the Chopra Global 21-Day Business Kickstarter in 2022. Outside of work, John enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through running, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and yoga. He resides in San Diego, California with his wife and is a proud father of three adult children and grandfather of two.

Blake Brinkerhoff

Blake Brinkerhoff
Blake Brinkerhoff serves as the Senior Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s federal sales initiatives and supports the integration of human performance programs across U.S. government agencies. In his role, Blake oversees the federal sales team, focusing on strategic business development, relationship management, client retention, and long-term partnership growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. Drawing on his tactical experience and leadership background, he works closely with agency stakeholders to ensure O2X programs are aligned with operational demands and mission readiness objectives.
Blake’s professional foundation was built during his 12-year career as a Navy SEAL, where he completed three deployments supporting operations in more than 20 countries. Serving with SEAL Team 4, Blake held leadership positions including Lead Breacher and Assault Team Leader, where he managed high-risk operations requiring precision, adaptability, and decisive leadership. In the later stages of his military career, he became the Lead Instructor for Close Quarters Combat at SEAL Qualification Training, where he trained and mentored more than 300 SEAL candidates annually, helping develop the next generation of Naval Special Warfare operators. His operational experience and passion for leadership, resilience, and performance continue to shape his approach to supporting federal clients and tactical populations through O2X.
Blake earned his degree in Organizational Leadership while serving on active duty and later completed the Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program at the University of Southern California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Oceanside, California. An avid outdoorsman, Blake is passionate about surfing, spearfishing, and staying connected to the ocean, pursuits that reflect the same commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance that define both his personal and professional life.

Jason Carver

Jason Carver
Jason Carver serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at O2X Human Performance, where he leads federal business development efforts focused on strategic opportunities across the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies. In this role, Jason works closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, and internal leadership teams to identify, capture, and implement opportunities that expand O2X’s integrated human performance model to tactical populations nationwide. His work centers on building long-term partnerships that improve readiness, resilience, and performance for those operating in high-demand environments.
Prior to joining O2X, Jason served 21 years in Naval Special Warfare as a Navy SEAL, holding leadership positions across SEAL Teams, Special Reconnaissance units, and multiple command staffs throughout his career. He completed his service at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training (BUD/S), a full-circle opportunity that allowed him to help shape and mentor the next generation of Special Operations personnel. Throughout his military career, Jason developed a deep appreciation for the role that physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, injury prevention, and mental resilience play in operational effectiveness and long-term health. In addition to his military experience, Jason co-founded Outlier CrossFit in San Diego, where he helped grow the business into a successful performance and training community, sponsored a competitive team at the CrossFit Games, and later exited the business successfully.
Jason brings decades of leadership experience in high-performance environments and remains passionate about advancing human performance within the tactical community. Based in San Diego with his wife and two sons, he continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges through mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and trail running. Most recently, Jason completed the JFK 50-Mile Ultramarathon alongside fellow O2X teammates.

Zack McAdams

Zack McAdams
Zack McAdams serves as the Senior Vice President of Training & Education at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the organization’s in-person and virtual training and education programs delivered to tactical and high-performance populations worldwide. Bringing more than a decade of experience as a tactical athlete and military leader, Zack manages all aspects of O2X’s training operations, including specialist staffing and development, event planning, client coordination, logistics, equipment forecasting, inventory management, budget oversight, and operational execution. His leadership helps ensure the consistent delivery of O2X’s world-class programs and educational offerings, supporting hundreds of events globally each year while advancing the organization’s mission to improve the health, safety, and performance of those who serve others.
Prior to joining O2X, Zack served 13 years in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, achieving the rank of Major. Throughout his military career, he held leadership positions within the 101st Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, and 10th Mountain Division, serving in roles that spanned operations, logistics, training, advising, and command leadership. Zack deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and concluded his Army career serving as both an Operations Officer and Executive Officer at the Battalion level, where he was responsible for the planning, resourcing, and synchronization of operations for an 800-soldier infantry battalion. Following years of combat and operational service, Zack medically retired from the Army in July 2022 due to career and combat-related injuries, an experience that further strengthened his passion for human performance, career longevity, and supporting the long-term well-being of tactical athletes. His operational experience and leadership background continue to shape the way he approaches training, education, and program delivery at O2X.
Zack earned his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College and later completed his master’s degree through the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He currently resides on the South Shore with his wife, Jen, and their daughter, Delaney. Outside of work, Zack values time with his family, staying active, and remaining engaged within his community. His dedication to leadership, service, and improving the lives of others continues to make him a respected leader within O2X and the broader tactical human performance community.

Ali Levy

Ali Levy
Ali Levy is the Vice President of Sales Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she brings more than a decade of experience in the human performance industry. In her role, Ali works cross-functionally to develop systems, processes, and strategies that allow the sales team to focus on revenue generation, client retention, and successful program implementation. As one of O2X’s founding team members, she has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth, internal operations, and long-term alignment with its mission and core values.
Throughout her time at O2X, Ali has held several leadership positions across the organization. As Director of Education, she collaborated with leading researchers and subject matter experts to build customized educational programs for clients and contributed to O2X’s published works, including co-authoring Human Performance for Tactical Athletes and contributing a chapter to Surviving the Fire Service. Prior to that, as Director of Operations, she oversaw the logistics and execution of O2X’s nationwide in-person training programs. Drawing from her background as a Mental Performance Specialist, Ali has also delivered sessions focused on resilience, goal setting, and performance psychology. Before joining O2X, Ali competed on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, where she became a two-time North American Cup Grand Prix Champion and competed internationally at the World Cup level.
After retiring from competitive skiing, Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Middlebury College, where she also competed in track and field, before completing her Master of Education in Sport Psychology and Counseling at Boston University. In 2015, she was inducted into the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Hall of Fame and Wall of Excellence in recognition of her athletic accomplishments. Outside of work, Ali continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges, including completing a 1,100-mile cycling trip and multiple 50-mile ultramarathons, while maintaining her lifelong passion for skiing and spending time outdoors.

Dan Hartig

Dan Hartig
Dan Hartig serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Digital Products at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the development and execution of the organization’s digital strategy and technology platforms. In his role, Dan oversees engineering, software architecture, and product development efforts that support O2X’s digital ecosystem, including tools and platforms designed to enhance performance, readiness, and long-term health for tactical athletes, first responders, and frontline professionals. Bringing a background in engineering, architecture, and technical leadership, Dan focuses on building scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions that align with the evolving needs of O2X clients and internal teams. His experience leading multidisciplinary teams and refining software development lifecycles has helped strengthen O2X’s ability to deliver high-quality digital products that support operational excellence and user engagement.
Dan’s professional background spans both military service and the private technology sector. He initially enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 following the events of 9/11 before being selected for an officer candidate program in 2004. Dan later graduated from the United States Naval Academy as a Trident Scholar with a degree in Computer Science in 2008 and went on to serve as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG-49) and USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). Following his military service, Dan transitioned into software engineering and technology leadership roles, beginning with work supporting the intelligence community at Zeta Technologies. He later held engineering and leadership positions with organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sezzle, and Best Buy, where he gained extensive experience implementing large-scale technology solutions across startup, enterprise, and national retail environments. His diverse technical and operational background continues to shape his leadership approach and vision for digital innovation at O2X.
Dan resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Darray, and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, serving his community, and pursuing his passion for cooking and barbecue. Known for smoking meats for large gatherings, holiday parties, and church events, Dan jokingly considers award-winning pit master to be his future retirement career. His enthusiasm for bringing people together through food reflects the same leadership, creativity, and team-oriented mindset that he brings to his work at O2X.

Meaghan Kirby

Meaghan Kirby
Meaghan Kirby serves as the Vice President of Education at O2X Human Performance, where she collaborates with leading researchers, subject matter experts, and internal teams to develop customized, integrated education programs for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In her role, Meaghan oversees educational strategy, organizational reporting, and data analysis initiatives designed to measure and communicate the impact of O2X’s programs and services. She leads the development of detailed reporting systems and client deliverables that demonstrate the effectiveness of O2X’s Integrated Specialist Programs, workshops, and educational events, helping agencies better understand performance outcomes, program engagement, and long-term impact.
Throughout her time at O2X, Meaghan has held multiple leadership positions across both the Education and Client Services departments. As the Education & Reporting Manager, she partnered closely with teams throughout the organization to build customized reporting frameworks and data-driven insights that highlighted the value and effectiveness of O2X programming. Prior to that role, she served as the Client Services Manager, where she helped lead educational content development, improve reporting systems, and strengthen client communication and support processes. Her work has been instrumental in enhancing the quality, consistency, and impact of O2X’s educational offerings while ensuring agencies receive professional, actionable, and meaningful program feedback. Meaghan’s passion for supporting tactical populations is deeply personal and rooted in her family’s long-standing connection to public service and first responder communities.
Meaghan earned both her Master of Education in Coaching and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boston University. While at Boston University, she competed as a distance swimmer on the BU Swimming and Diving Team and was also a USA Swimming Senior National Qualifier in distance freestyle and backstroke events. Her dedication to health, wellness, and performance continues outside of work, where she remains passionate about supporting first responders and tactical professionals. Meaghan’s family history includes multiple generations of public service, including a great-grandfather who served as a firefighter in Lowell, Massachusetts, a grandfather who was a Captain with the Massachusetts State Police, and a cousin currently serving as a police officer in Boxborough, Massachusetts. Her work with O2X allows her to combine her professional expertise with a meaningful commitment to supporting the health, resilience, and well-being of those who serve others.

Lorenzo Romolo

Lorenzo Romolo
Lorenzo Romolo is the Vice President of Human Performance Integration at O2X, where he created and developed the HPI department to ensure the seamless implementation of O2X programs within client organizations. In this role, he oversees client relationships, contracts, and national program delivery, with a focus on ensuring measurable impact across all sectors. He also leads oversight of On-Site Specialists, data analytics, impact tracking, and customer service, ensuring human performance initiatives are effectively integrated and consistently delivering results for O2X clients.
Lorenzo began his career with O2X as a Lead Instructor, where he leveraged his operational experience to deliver training and education events for first responders, federal agencies, and military personnel. He was later promoted to On-Site Specialist Program Manager, where he helped build and manage the deployment of human performance specialists, and then advanced to Director of Client Services, playing a key role in expanding O2X programs across military, law enforcement, fire service, and DOJ/DHS partnerships. His leadership was instrumental in establishing O2X as a trusted partner in human performance across these critical sectors.
Originally from Australia, Lorenzo retired from Special Operations Command Australia after a distinguished 15-year military career. As a Special Forces Operator, he deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and East Timor, working alongside U.S. Special Operations and other coalition forces. He also served in domestic counterterrorism roles and worked with Australia’s Joint Counter Terrorism and Tactical Police, as well as the FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT).

Crystal Vidas

Crystal Vidas
Crystal Vidas serves as the Vice President of People Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she leads the organization’s people strategy and oversees all human resources and administrative functions across the company. In her role, Crystal helps drive the systems, structure, and operational processes needed to support O2X’s continued growth while maintaining a high-performance, people-centered culture. Over the past 18 months, her role has continued to evolve alongside the organization, expanding beyond traditional HR leadership into broader operational strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, compliance, compensation strategy, and large-scale recruiting efforts across both headquarters and embedded tactical performance programs nationwide. She plays a key role in aligning people operations with company growth initiatives while helping leaders build scalable teams, improve internal processes, and maintain O2X’s mission-driven culture. Crystal also oversees recruitment, onboarding, and development efforts for many of the organization’s operational and leadership roles, helping attract and retain high-performing professionals across a wide range of disciplines.
Before joining O2X, Crystal spent six years with lululemon, where she led multiple stores throughout the Philadelphia region and ultimately supported the successful opening of a new store in Delaware. During her time with the company, she consistently exceeded sales and operational targets while building strong employee engagement and community relationships. Prior to transitioning into leadership and operations, Crystal spent the first decade of her career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, working across Oregon, Virginia, California, and Taiwan. One of her most impactful professional experiences was helping establish and lead a sports medicine program at Taipei American School, where she built a multidisciplinary support system designed to meet the unique needs of student-athletes. Her background in healthcare, athletics, leadership, and performance continues to shape her approach to people operations and organizational development at O2X.
Crystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Oregon State University and her Master of Science in Education through the Post Professional Athletic Training Education Program at Old Dominion University. Outside of work, she remains deeply involved in fitness, performance, and outdoor adventure. A longtime competitive CrossFit athlete, Crystal has competed at the regional level three times and has recently shifted her focus toward age-group CrossFit competition while also participating in events such as The Tactical Games and ultramarathon racing, including completing a 50-mile race in 2025. One of her most notable endurance accomplishments was completing an unsupported rim-to-rim-to-rim crossing of the Grand Canyon with her husband in 16.5 hours. Outside of training and competition, Crystal enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and creating new adventures with her husband and their three boys, ages 9, 5, and 2.

Brendan Stickles

Brendan Stickles
Brendan Stickles serves as the Vice President, Government at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees federal government accounts and supports the organization’s strategic growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. In his role, Brendan works closely with government leaders, agency stakeholders, and internal teams to develop partnerships and deliver human performance solutions that support readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Drawing on his extensive military and national security background, Brendan helps align O2X’s programs and services with the evolving needs of federal agencies and tactical populations.
Brendan joined O2X in September 2023 following his time as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he served at the White House as the Special Advisor for Defense to Vice Presidents Kamala Harris and Mike Pence, where he managed a broad portfolio that included national security, veterans’ issues, defense innovation, military readiness, and personnel policy. During his tenure on the National Security Council as Director for Defense, Brendan worked across multiple government agencies to support strategic defense initiatives and senior leadership decision-making. Before transitioning into government advisory roles, Brendan served more than two decades in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator and Commander. Over the course of his military career, he flew jets for more than 18 consecutive years and completed over 550 aircraft carrier landings. On his final operational deployment aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, he commanded an EA-18 squadron that earned back-to-back “Battle E” awards recognizing combat efficiency during Operation Inherent Resolve. Among his most memorable personal experiences as a pilot was performing the 2008 Major League Baseball Opening Day flyover for his favorite team, the New York Mets.
Originally from Glen Rock, New Jersey, Brendan graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in History before earning both an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. He currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and their three school-aged children. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time with family, staying connected to the military and veteran communities, and supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership, readiness, and service.

Cole Hatcher

In his role, Cole leverages his tactical background, leadership experience, and operational expertise to build strong client relationships, support program implementation, and ensure long-term client success and retention. He works closely with agencies to develop customized solutions that align with their operational demands and organizational goals, helping tactical professionals improve readiness, resilience, and overall performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Cole served as a Special Agent focused on investigations involving gang violence, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. Before transitioning into federal law enforcement, he spent four years on active duty in the United States Army as a Sergeant with F Company, 51st Long Range Surveillance Company, where he served as part of a military freefall team. Throughout his military career, Cole trained soldiers in surveillance operations, reconnaissance tactics, and physical fitness while also fostering partnerships with allied military forces. He completed several advanced military schools and certifications, including the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC), Pathfinder School, and the Military Freefall Parachutist Course (MFFPC). His combined military and federal law enforcement experience continues to shape his passion for supporting tactical professionals through performance-focused programs and leadership development.
Cole earned his degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona and has also worked in accounting and finance roles throughout his professional career. Originally from Arizona, he maintains a strong connection to the outdoors and enjoys spending his free time traveling, hiking, visiting the beach, and competing in trail races and local CrossFit competitions. His passion for adventure, fitness, and continuous growth reflects the same mindset he brings to his work supporting public safety and tactical organizations through O2X.

Brian Christianson

Brian Christianson
Brian Christianson is an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance and a 16-year U.S. Army veteran. In this role, he combines his passion for improving performance and longevity with over a decade of experience building comprehensive human performance programs. Prior to moving into leadership, Brian served as a Lead Instructor at O2X, where he worked directly with tactical athletes to implement training and education that elevated resilience, readiness, and long-term health.
Brian’s military career began in 1999 as a Combat Engineer, completing two deployments to Kosovo, one to Iraq, and one to Afghanistan before transitioning into Civil Affairs. Throughout his career, he held roles including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Team Sergeant, and Joint Plans and Operations NCO. He deployed alongside elite units such as Army Rangers and Navy SEALs and later trained future warfighters as a hand-to-hand combat and advanced weapons/tactics instructor. Following his service, Brian continued to support tactical readiness by opening a CrossFit affiliate, earning both a bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University and a master’s degree in Exercise Science & Wellness: Fitness and Performance from Liberty University. His experience also includes standing up the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at both Fort Bliss, TX, and Fort Sill, OK, where he served as the Human Performance Program Director.
Outside of work, Brian is an avid outdoorsman and competitor. He enjoys competitive shooting, golf, hunting, and sports, and values time spent in the outdoors with his family. Whether on the range, on the course, or simply outside with his loved ones, Brian continues to embody the same commitment to discipline, growth, and resilience that has defined both his military and civilian career.

Ryan Solley

Ryan Solley
Ryan Solley is the Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X, supporting municipal agencies in building readiness, resilience, and long‑term human performance. He spent over a decade in the U.S. Army, with the majority of that time serving in Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. Throughout his career, he completed multiple deployments and held leadership roles centered on team development, training, and operational performance.
After transitioning from the military, Ryan spent two years with the National Guard Human Performance and Wellness Program, where he helped stand up and lead their Strength and Conditioning Program. He later earned a master’s degree in Human Performance and has since applied his operational and academic background to coaching, leadership development, and performance optimization across tactical and civilian populations.
Ryan lives in Florida with his wife and two children, staying active through outdoor adventures, travel, and community involvement.

Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly
Rob Kelly is an Assistant Vice President at O2X Human Performance, where he specializes in building strategic partnerships and supporting clients’ unique operational needs. Leveraging his extensive military background and deep understanding of Department of Defense operations, along with corporate industry experience, Rob implements performance programs tailored to the demands of military and federal agencies, municipal departments, and private-sector organizations. His work focuses on delivering innovative solutions that enhance warfighter readiness, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable success for the teams he serves.
Rob served 11 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing multiple overseas deployments aboard operational warships. Throughout his service, he held key leadership roles including Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Boarding Officer, Damage Control Assistant, Weapons Officer, and Combat Systems Officer, while also leading ship navigation operations worldwide. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and later earned a Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Originally from Coronado, California, Rob developed a passion for surfing and lacrosse and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He now resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife and three children and enjoys surfing, training Jiu-Jitsu, and creating memorable experiences with his family.

Jordan Smith is an Assistant Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X, where he draws on his leadership experience and operational background to deliver tailored human performance solutions to federal clients. In his role, he builds and maintains relationships with government agencies and implements performance solutions that improve resilience, strengthen readiness, and drive mission success.
Prior to joining O2X, Jordan attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played defensive end for the Army Football Team and graduated in 2017 before commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer. Over his eight years of Army service, he held a variety of leadership roles, including Platoon Leader, Fire Support Officer, and Battery Executive Officer with the 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, as well as Battery Commander with the 434th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He concluded his military career as a Team Leader with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Hawaii, where he led global recovery missions throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, and China in search of U.S. service members who remain unaccounted for from past wars and conflicts.
Originally from Oceanside, California, Jordan and his wife are raising their two children in their hometown community. Passionate about fitness and the outdoors, he enjoys strength training, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Rachel Miller is the Assistant Vice President, Operations at O2X. In this capacity, she manages the staffing, planning, travel, and execution of O2X’s programs throughout the year. Rachel oversees a network of over 250 O2X subject matter experts and instructors, ensuring seamless operations for each event. She is committed to building strong relationships, growing the O2X family network, and fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for current staff, creating a culture of support and collaboration.
Before joining O2X, Rachel worked in the Events and Experiences team at Fenway Sports Management, the sports marketing agency of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group. In her role, she managed fan travel experiences, corporate events, and brand activations for several FSG entities and partners, including the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, Liverpool F.C., Jim Beam, Dunkin’, and the Red Sox Foundation. Her diverse experience in sports marketing and event management gave her a strong foundation in large-scale event coordination. Rachel also holds a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a sports focus from Boston University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Journalism.Rachel was a standout member of the Women’s Soccer team at Boston University, where she was a two-time captain, two-time All-Patriot League selection, and three-time Patriot League Champion. Her dedication to sports extended beyond her college career, as she traveled to Uganda with Coaches Across Continents to promote the power of sport for social impact. After her soccer career, Rachel ran the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Boston Bruins Foundation, igniting her passion for running and endurance training. Born and raised in South Shore, MA, Rachel is a member of the East Bridgewater High School Athletics Hall of Fame for her achievements in soccer and track and field.

Crystal Schurko serves as a Senior Front End Engineer at O2X Human Performance, where she focuses on web and mobile application development, building intuitive user experiences and implementing new features that enhance the functionality and accessibility of O2X’s digital platforms. In her role, Crystal works closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create seamless user-centered solutions that support tactical athletes, coaches, and organizational leaders. Drawing on her strong operational background, she also plays an important role in refining agile development processes and improving collaboration across teams to support efficient product delivery and continuous platform improvement.
Prior to joining O2X, Crystal held software engineering leadership roles across the healthcare, publishing, and technology industries. She served as a Lead Software Engineer at Florida Blue and Banyan Hill Publishing, where she led development efforts focused on scalable web applications and user-focused digital experiences. Earlier in her career, she worked in client-facing software development roles at MercuryWorks and gained experience in embedded systems engineering with Magic Leap. Throughout her career, Crystal has built expertise in frontend engineering, agile methodologies, and product-driven development, allowing her to effectively bridge technical execution with business and user needs. She also maintains a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development, earning certifications across areas including full-stack web development, embedded systems, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, while also participating in and winning multiple hackathons.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading, research, and design, and is constantly exploring new technologies and creative outlets to expand her knowledge and skills. She lives in South Florida with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys balancing her passion for technology with family life and personal growth.

With a foundation in business and a passion for technology, Daniel brings a strategic mindset to mobile engineering, creating seamless and intuitive user experiences that meet real-world needs.
Prior to joining O2X, Daniel played key roles at companies such as Reggora, Dragon Army, and TrueNorth, where he contributed to the design and deployment of impactful mobile solutions across diverse sectors. His strengths lie in solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and fostering strong collaboration across teams. Daniel made the leap into tech in his late twenties and has since carved out a path defined by growth, curiosity, and a relentless drive to improve. His work reflects a deep commitment to learning and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile development.
Outside of engineering, Daniel is a dedicated enthusiast of combat sports and soccer, and enjoys any challenge that pushes him to grow, both personally and professionally.

He blends product leadership with real-world operational insight to create tools that are intuitive, resilient, and mission-ready. Jeremy works cross-functionally with internal teams and end users to ensure O2X’s digital solutions enhance readiness, performance, and long-term well-being across the tactical community.
Before joining O2X, Jeremy built a career at the intersection of public safety, technology, and human performance. He previously shaped product direction for Active911’s nationwide emergency alerting platform, designing tools used in high-stress, time-critical environments. His perspective as both a product leader and an end user is grounded in more than 25 years of fire service experience spanning operations, training, and readiness development. In addition to his service background, Jeremy is a longtime fitness entrepreneur who has owned and operated two CrossFit gyms—including one in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—where he coached athletes and developed programming tailored to elite performance and tactical demands.
Jeremy’s approach is rooted in a lifelong commitment to learning, human performance, and community. He and his wife, Kari, live in Oregon with their dog, Murph, where they stay connected to the outdoors and an active lifestyle that fuels their passion for health and performance. Outside of his work at O2X, Jeremy continues to pursue education, coaching, and personal development initiatives that strengthen his ability to serve the tactical population.

Joey Lee

Joey Lee
Joey Lee is a full-stack software/product engineer at O2X, where he leads the technical design and development of the O2X Coach's Portal web application. While splitting his time among mobile, back-end, and front-end feature work, Joey specializes in collaborating with product and design to shape and launch user-focused solutions end-to-end.
Prior to O2X, Joey held mid- through staff-level software engineering positions at organizations including Amazon, Florida Blue, and several fast-growing venture-backed startups from seed through Series D stage. These experiences gave him a broad perspective on designing, building, and scaling software products across diverse environments and team structures.
Joey studied computer science from high school through college and completed a Software Engineering Immersive at Hack Reactor. Outside of work, he has wide range of hobbies and interests — from Socratic philosophy, psychology, and mindfulness meditation to classical piano and jazz improvisation to barbell training to web novels. He lives with his wife and kids in St. Johns, Florida.

Ashley Roberts

Ashley Roberts is the Manager of Recruiting and Talent at O2X, where she plays a key role in supporting the People Operations team. Her primary responsibility is attracting top-tier talent to O2X and guiding candidates through an efficient and engaging interview and onboarding process. In addition to talent acquisition, she also supports employee engagement and development across departments, helping to build and sustain a high-performing, mission-driven team as the organization continues to grow.
With over eight years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Ashley has worked across a wide range of environments, including secondary schools, collegiate athletics, military settings, and industrial performance roles. Her passion for serving military personnel and veterans is deeply personal, as she is the spouse of a Marine veteran. This connection fuels her commitment to the mission and strengthens her dedication to supporting those who serve. Prior to her current role, she contributed to hiring and onboarding athletic trainers and worked as an industrial athletic trainer, further expanding her expertise across multiple sectors.
Ashley holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Oklahoma, providing a strong clinical foundation for her work in both human performance and talent strategy. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through fitness, outdoor adventures such as boating, and spending time with her family, including her daughter and two beloved pit bulls. Her energy, work ethic, and commitment to others make her a valued member of both O2X and the broader community.

Joe McCullough

Joe McCullough
Joe McCullough serves as the Manager of Marketing at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing initiatives and brand strategy. In his role, Joe manages a wide range of content and communication efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, public relations, the O2X Human Performance Podcast, and the company’s blog and digital storytelling initiatives. His work plays an important role in advancing O2X’s mission, educating audiences on the value of human performance, and strengthening engagement across tactical, military, public safety, and high-performance communities. Through both strategic planning and creative execution, Joe helps communicate the impact of O2X’s programs, people, and mission nationwide.
Before joining O2X, Joe attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy after receiving a conditional appointment and completing a preparatory program at the New Mexico Military Institute. While at Kings Point, he was involved in leadership and extracurricular initiatives, serving as a 3/C Petty Officer to the Regimental Commander, sailing as a cadet aboard the S.S. Horizon Pacific, and helping found the Kings Point Endurance Club. In June 2016, Joe sustained a cervical spinal cord injury that initially left him quadriplegic. Following months of intensive rehabilitation and therapy, he regained significant function and independence through relentless determination, resilience, and adaptability. His experiences overcoming adversity continue to shape both his personal perspective and professional approach. Joe’s background in the Maritime Logistics and Security Program, combined with the leadership and problem-solving skills developed during his recovery journey, laid the foundation for his career growth at O2X. Since joining the organization, he has held multiple roles including Operations Coordinator and Experience Coordinator before transitioning into his current position leading marketing initiatives.
Outside of work, Joe remains passionate about personal growth, resilience, and inspiring others through his journey of recovery and perseverance. His experiences have given him a unique perspective on adaptability, mental toughness, and the importance of community support. Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams
Daniel Williams serves as the Manager of Integrated Programs for O2X Human Performance on the West Coast, where he supports the implementation, oversight, and continued development of integrated human performance programs for tactical populations. After beginning his career with O2X as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength & Conditioning, Daniel has continued to expand his leadership responsibilities while supporting embedded specialists and operational programs across multiple client sites. In his role, he works closely with tactical organizations and O2X personnel to ensure programs are effectively aligned with mission demands, operational readiness goals, and long-term performance outcomes for the populations they serve.
With more than 12 years of experience in the human performance field, Daniel has dedicated much of his career to supporting tactical athletes and Special Operations communities. Since 2015, he has worked directly within the special operations environment as a Human Performance Specialist, helping operators improve strength, durability, resilience, and overall operational readiness. Daniel began his work in the tactical space with Air Force Special Operations Command, supporting the 24th Special Operations Wing and the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). Following his time with STTS, he transitioned to Naval Special Warfare Group 1, where he spent more than four years working alongside Navy SEALs and supporting human performance initiatives focused on optimizing performance and reducing injury risk within elite operational units. His extensive experience embedded within high-performance tactical environments continues to shape his practical and mission-focused approach to coaching and leadership.
Daniel remains deeply passionate about helping tactical professionals achieve sustainable, long-term performance success both physically and mentally. His hands-on experience within elite military communities, combined with his leadership within O2X’s Integrated Programs, has made him a trusted resource for both specialists and tactical organizations alike. Through his work, Daniel continues to support O2X’s mission of improving the health, readiness, and resilience of those operating in demanding environments.

Mark Christiani

Mark Christiani
Mark Christiani serves as the East Coast Human Performance Integration (HPI) Manager for O2X Human Performance, where he supports, develops, and mentors On-Site Specialists across multiple contracts and locations. In this role, Mark helps integrate comprehensive human performance programs focused on strength and conditioning, injury prevention, recovery, and long-term readiness for tactical and industrial populations. He works closely with both leadership teams and embedded specialists to ensure programs are operationally effective, sustainable, and aligned with client mission requirements.
Prior to stepping into his current leadership role, Mark worked as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist supporting the United States Army Reserve 81st Readiness Division, where he delivered strength and conditioning support designed to improve Soldier readiness, physical performance, and resilience while reducing injury risk. Before joining O2X, Mark served as the Brigade Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 44th Medical Brigade at Fort Bragg, where he led the development and implementation of large-scale performance initiatives across multiple battalions and installations. During his time in the H2F program, he helped build Brigade-level strength and conditioning systems, oversaw new soldier performance initiatives, supported the distribution and integration of wearable technology, and contributed to data collection and performance analysis efforts. Earlier in his career, Mark worked in collegiate strength and conditioning at Savannah State University and the University of South Carolina, primarily supporting football and track and field athletes. His introduction to tactical strength and conditioning began during his time serving in the U.S. Army with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment while preparing for Ranger School.
Mark brings more than a decade of experience in tactical and collegiate human performance and remains passionate about continuous growth as both a coach and leader. He earned his Master of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia Southern University and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University. Mark is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Outside of work, he enjoys competing in and coaching powerlifting, spending time at the beach, and continuing to refine his cooking skills.

Dave Burke

Dave Burke
Dave Burke serves as the Operations Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key role within the Operations department supporting the execution of O2X’s nationwide programs, events, and embedded specialist initiatives. In his role, Dave manages logistics and operational coordination for workshops, training events, and on-site programs, helping ensure that O2X personnel and equipment are fully prepared to support clients across the country. His responsibilities include organizing and overseeing shipping operations, maintaining equipment readiness, and supporting the systems and processes that allow O2X programs to operate efficiently at scale. As the organization continues to grow, Dave remains heavily involved in improving operational workflows, identifying creative solutions, and strengthening the consistency and professionalism of the O2X experience.
Prior to joining O2X, Dave worked as a manager at a local beach in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where he collaborated closely with first responders, emergency management personnel, and local fire and police departments. During this time, he developed and implemented safety procedures, coordinated operational planning efforts, and introduced fitness initiatives designed to improve team readiness and performance in a dynamic public safety environment. His experience managing operations and leading teams in high-responsibility settings helped build the leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills he now applies in his role at O2X. Dave’s passion for teamwork, preparedness, and operational excellence continues to drive his contributions to the organization and its mission.
Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship in May 2022 and is currently pursuing his MBA at Lasell University. While attending Lasell, he was a two-time captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, leading the program to a Greater Northeast Athletic Conference Championship while earning multi-year all-conference recognition and finalist honors for Defensive Player of the Year as a Short Stick Defensive Midfielder (SSDM). Raised on the Massachusetts South Shore, Dave remains passionate about competition, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, surfing, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors with his three dogs.

Joshua Stuart Shor

Josh Stuart-Shor is a Manager of Integrated Programs and Workshop Lead for O2X, where he leads the delivery and execution of human performance programs for tactical athletes and client organizations. In this role, Josh drives program effectiveness through strategic engagement, on-site leadership, and close partnership with clients to ensure high-impact implementation and sustained results. As a trained mediator and facilitator, he brings a deliberate, people-centered approach to strengthening organizational culture, improving communication, and enhancing overall team performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Josh served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division before earning his Green Beret and going on to serve in the 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, NC. During his military career, he led and operated in complex environments across multiple combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central Asia, earning numerous awards and decorations for his service. From 2015 to 2016, Josh participated in the Army’s Tactical Human Optimization Rapid Rehabilitation & Reconditioning Program (THOR3) while recovering from combat-related injuries—an experience that shaped his long-term commitment to human performance, resilience, and recovery.
Following nearly a decade of service, Josh transitioned from the military to continue his leadership in high-performance environments. In addition to his work with O2X, he serves as a Lieutenant in a major metropolitan fire department, where he leads teams in dynamic, high-stakes situations. Josh holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Massachusetts Boston and applies that expertise to lead, develop, and support individuals and organizations in achieving sustainable performance outcomes.
He resides in Boston, MA, with his wife, Jessica, their four children—Camden, Abigail, Harrison, and Anne—and their dog, Buck. Outside of work, Josh and his family enjoy skiing, hiking, and fly-fishing in the mountains of Vermont

Alyssa Cafarelli
Alyssa Cafarelli serves as the Content & Education Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where she works cross-functionally with multiple departments to support the development and delivery of high-impact educational resources, marketing materials, client reports, and digital content. In her role, Alyssa helps ensure that O2X’s educational and communication materials effectively support tactical athletes, first responders, and high-performance organizations by delivering clear, engaging, and mission-focused content. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail play an important role in helping O2X maintain consistent, professional, and impactful resources across both internal and client-facing initiatives.
Prior to joining O2X, Alyssa worked as a preschool teacher for six years, where she developed a strong passion for education, communication, and helping others learn and grow. Her experience in the classroom strengthened her creativity, organization, and ability to connect with diverse audiences — skills that continue to support her work within O2X’s Education and Content teams. Alyssa also comes from a family deeply connected to the tactical community, which has fueled her personal connection to O2X’s mission of supporting those who serve others. Her combined background in education, communication, and content development has helped her become a valuable contributor to the organization’s efforts to educate and support tactical populations nationwide.
Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media from Plymouth State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Communications National Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta. During her time at Plymouth State, she further developed her passion for health, wellness, and digital media while creating content for the university’s recreation department. Brooke Williams

Brooke Williams is the Inside Sales Representative at O2X, where she plays a crucial role in supporting O2X’s Human Performance Business Development.
Before joining O2X, Brooke worked with enterprise organizations in SaaS sales, where she focused on implementing scalable solutions and streamlining content experiences for clients. Her background in business and technology helped her develop a keen understanding of operations and project management. Additionally, Brooke’s entrepreneurial studies at Bryant University sparked a deep passion for health and wellness, which led her to earn certifications in Nutrition and Personal Training, complementing her work in business. Brooke graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. His work includes capturing and producing photo and video content, supporting marketing campaigns, and creating visual assets that communicate the organization’s commitment to health, resilience, and performance. Through creative storytelling and strategic content development, Elmer helps strengthen O2X’s ability to connect with diverse audiences nationwide.
With more than five years of experience in media production and creative content development, Elmer has built a diverse professional portfolio spanning multiple industries and brands. Prior to joining O2X, he served as the Media Director at SoldierfitHQ, where he led multimedia production efforts and managed a wide range of visual storytelling projects. In addition to his full-time roles, Elmer has collaborated on freelance projects with nationally recognized organizations and brands including CBS Sports and lululemon, further expanding his expertise in video production, creative direction, and digital media strategy. Hugh Hamill

Hugh Hamill
Hugh Hamill is the Logistics Coordinator at O2X, where he is an integral member of the operations team. In this role, Hugh is responsible for managing the logistics and operational requirements for O2X Human Performance events and On-Site Specialists. He oversees the coordination, organization, packaging, and shipment of materials to various events across the country, ensuring everything is delivered on time and in perfect condition. Additionally, Hugh helps manage inventory and logistical needs at O2X’s headquarters, playing a key role in maintaining efficient operations.
Before joining O2X, Hugh gained valuable experience as a supervisor within the Intramural Athletic Board at Providence College, where he developed his passion for sports, health, and physical well-being. This role allowed him to gain leadership experience and further his interest in the logistics of athletic events. Hugh also worked as a marketing intern at a local bank on the South Shore of Massachusetts, where he honed his skills in communication and organizational support, contributing to his broad experience in both operations and marketing. Hugh graduated from Providence College in May 2023 with a major in marketing and a minor in sociology.
Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Hugh was an avid sports fan and played multiple varsity sports during his time at Marshfield High School. Ashley Tropea-Migrants is an Education & Curriculum Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, based in Massachusetts. In this role, she designs and implements educational programs that help tactical professionals enhance their performance, resilience, and recovery. Drawing on her background in human performance, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal care, Ashley specializes in translating complex medical and performance concepts into practical, engaging content that can be applied across a range of industries and audiences.
Before moving into curriculum development, Ashley served as an on-site Human Performance Specialist at O2X, where she worked directly with industrial athletes to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. Outside of O2X, she holds licensure and national certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She served as the sole Athletic Trainer at a high school for five years, during which she simultaneously worked in a hospital-based orthopedic and sports medicine clinic, splitting her time across both settings for four of those years. She later transitioned into a private orthopedic surgical clinic operating as the designated orthopedic department for a regional hospital, where she worked alongside surgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists across multiple specialties, gaining experience in musculoskeletal care, patient education, casting and bracing, durable medical equipment application, and movement screening.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University in 2015. Born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she enjoys hiking with her dog, running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

McKayla Stoneback serves as the Staffing and Travel Coordinator for O2X Human Performance, where she oversees staffing logistics and coordinates travel operations for company workshops, events, and nationwide engagements. In her role, McKayla works closely with internal teams, specialists, and partners to ensure efficient scheduling, travel coordination, and operational support across O2X programming. Drawing from her extensive background in tactical human performance and field operations, she brings a unique perspective to supporting both the people and logistical systems that drive successful program execution.
McKayla was O2X’s first embedded On-Site Specialist, joining the company in 2019 in support of Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services in Frederick, Maryland. Over the course of her career, she has spent more than nine years working within the tactical population, specializing in movement screenings, prehabilitation programming, tactical strength and conditioning, and comprehensive health and wellness initiatives for career fire departments. Prior to transitioning into her current role with O2X HQ, McKayla worked directly with tactical athletes to improve readiness, durability, and long-term performance outcomes. Her background in human performance began on the athletic side, where she worked with athletes of varying ages and competitive levels before expanding her focus into the tactical field. While completing her graduate education, McKayla conducted research focused on the relationship between the physical demands of firefighting and the fitness qualities required for operational performance, with her work ultimately being published.
McKayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition before completing her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Outdoor Recreation: Sports Performance & Conditioning from Southern Utah University. In addition to her academic background, she is a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Athleticism Coach. Brendan Hanley is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist and Program Manager specializing in Mental Performance with the U.S. Secret Service. He works with tactical professionals in high-stakes environments to develop the mental skills required for consistent, high-level performance, focusing on areas such as focus, resilience, and decision-making to support mission success.
With nearly a decade of experience, Brendan has worked with athletes across all levels and has supported the United States Army by applying sport and performance psychology principles to enhance operational readiness. Most recently, he was embedded with a special operations unit, where he partnered with senior leaders and aviators to optimize cognitive performance and strengthen leadership capacity.

Stephanie Lewis is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the U.S. Secret Service. With over 20 years of experience, she brings deep expertise in optimizing the performance and durability of tactical athletes. A BOC Certified Athletic Trainer since 2005, Stephanie also holds certifications as an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator.
Prior to joining O2X, Stephanie built a diverse background across physical therapy clinics, orthopedic settings, military health services, and law enforcement environments. She has supported athletes at all levels—from youth and collegiate to professional and Olympic—and has delivered care in high-demand and complex environments, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her experience reflects a strong commitment to enhancing performance across both traditional and tactical populations.
Stephanie is also deeply passionate about education, with 12 years of experience as a college instructor and associate professor, and currently serves as a Certified Basic Life Support Instructor for the American Red Cross. Joshua Berenbach is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength and Conditioning with the United States Secret Service. An Army veteran, Josh served eight years in the military, including a combat deployment with the 1st Infantry Division.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Towson University and completed his Master of Education in Coaching and Athletic Leadership from the University of Missouri in 2021. He has built a diverse background working across NCAA Division I and Division III programs, as well as in the private sector as a strength and conditioning coach.
During his time supporting the 82nd Airborne Division, Josh played a key role in developing and implementing a selection preparation program that helped soldiers successfully navigate special operations assessment courses. He also contributed to the Unit Fitness Leader program, enhancing force readiness through education in strength and conditioning and program design. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father of three, and enjoys strength training, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, fishing, and motorcycle riding.

Prior to joining O2X, Rachel served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at D1 Training and supported the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program at Fort Jackson, where she developed and implemented physical training programs for the 193rd Infantry Brigade. He began his career in human performance with an internship at the Delta Airlines Below Wing Wellness Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he supported employee wellness initiatives focused on safety, movement quality, and injury prevention for below-wing personnel. He later served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Team GAP H2F at Fort Polk, Louisiana, where he developed and oversaw comprehensive training programs to improve readiness and rehabilitation outcomes for the 519th Military Police Battalion. Ian continued his work in the tactical space as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in Twentynine Palms, California, where he implemented performance programs tailored to the unique demands of service members. Additionally, Mike served four years in the Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman and Aviation Warfare Systems Operator, deploying in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). His diverse background spans professional, collegiate, and high-level high school athletes, where he collaborated with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and athletic trainers to create personalized fitness plans. In her role, she integrates clinical care with strength and conditioning to support operational readiness, optimize movement, and sustain performance in high-demand aviation environments.
Savannah’s background spans both clinical and military settings, with experience treating service members and athletes across a range of orthopedic and performance-related conditions. During her doctoral training at Campbell University, she completed a clinical rotation at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, supporting individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries within an interdisciplinary team. Prior to joining O2X, Casey gained experience across both sports and clinical nutrition settings. He worked with EXOS in Frisco, TX, supporting collegiate football athletes preparing for the NFL Combine as well as professional NFL players. He later served as a consultant dietitian with Nutritious Lifestyles, providing clinical services and conducting quality assurance audits for long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. Casey’s path into nutrition began after his service in the Marine Corps, where he provided security at Camp David and the U.S. Embassy in Yemen.

With over eight years of experience in the human performance field, Wayne has worked across military, tactical, and athletic populations. Prior to joining O2X, he served in the Optimizing the Human Weapon System program in Tucson, AZ, where he developed and implemented a psychological performance program for A-10 Warthog fighter pilots. His work included standardized curriculum delivery, one-on-one coaching, and cognitive training integrated into physical readiness programming. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Mental Conditioning Coordinator supporting athletes from youth to professional levels, helping them perform under pressure and build resilience through sport psychology principles.

Prior to joining O2X, Alex served as the Functional Fitness Coordinator for the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (SAMFS), where he developed and delivered comprehensive health and wellness programs, including fitness assessments, strength and conditioning sessions, and health education for firefighters. He also previously worked in elite sport, serving as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of South Australia Women’s Soccer Team and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Basketball South Australia, where he designed evidence-based training programs and mentored interns supporting elite junior athletes.

Brandon Athey is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength and Conditioning with Howard County Fire & Rescue. He oversees physical training for the recruit academy, leads department-wide on-shift training initiatives, and delivers both individual and group performance coaching. Prior to joining O2X, Brandon accumulated extensive experience across both tactical and collegiate environments. From 2021 to 2023, he served within the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 18th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC, where he was part of one of the first units to implement H2F during its Army-wide rollout. In this role, he helped establish unit-level strength and conditioning systems and co-developed the Steel Fitness Trainer (SFT) course, a train-the-trainer program designed to certify Soldiers as H2F practitioners. His experience during this initial rollout provided him with a unique understanding of building and scaling human performance programs from the ground up. Earlier in his career, Brandon worked in collegiate athletics at institutions including Clemson University, Mount St. Mary’s University, Shippensburg University, and Hagerstown Community College. He currently also serves as an adjunct professor of exercise science at both Hagerstown Community College and Frederick Community College.
Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University and a Master of Arts in Sport Coaching with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Denver. In this role, he works closely with firefighters to enhance both physical and mental performance, ensuring they are prepared for the high demands and stressors of the fire and rescue profession. Prior to joining Frederick County Fire and Rescue, Zach gained experience working in a variety of performance settings, including as a strength and conditioning and rehab specialist in hybrid physical therapy and performance facilities. He also served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, gaining hands-on experience supporting elite-level athletes. Earlier in his career, he worked with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Combat Aviation Brigade, further developing his understanding of human performance in high-stress operational environments.
Zach holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Conditioning, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. Carson Fralin

Carson Fralin
Carson Fralin is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength and Conditioning with the West Palm Beach Fire Department. In this role, he designs and implements performance programs that enhance the physical readiness and resilience of first responders, helping them meet the demands of their operational roles while reducing injury risk and improving long-term durability.
Prior to joining O2X, Carson served under the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program with the 82nd Airborne Division, where he was embedded as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the 2nd Battalion of the 504th Paratrooper Infantry Regiment. In this role, he advised leaders on optimizing physical training for combat readiness and supported soldiers preparing for selection pipelines including SOAR 160th, SFAS, Ranger School, Civil Affairs, and PSYOPS. He also developed recovery and reintegration programs to support soldiers following selection courses.
Earlier in his career, Carson served as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Midlothian Athletic Club, where he worked with FC Richmond Soccer, the Richmond Generals Ice Hockey teams, and local fire stations in Chesterfield County, VA. With over 15 years of experience in human performance, Gary has held key leadership roles across tactical, collegiate, and elite sport environments. He served as the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Apprenticeship Course under the United States Air Force Special Warfare Training Wing, where he supported high-stakes selection and training pipelines. Prior to that, he was the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of California, Riverside, where he led multiple Big West Conference championships, oversaw a full facility renovation, and developed an internship program that produced strength coaches now working across all levels of sport. He has also worked in the private sector and served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Gary earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. A former British Champion in the 800 meters, he competed internationally for Great Britain and recorded multiple sub-four-minute miles during his post-collegiate career. He was recruited to the United States on a track and field scholarship at Iona University, where he became a two-time All-American, NCAA runner-up, and later an inductee into the Iona Hall of Fame. He has also provided private consultancy services to clients worldwide, applying sport and performance psychology principles across a range of performance domains.
Tim holds a doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. In this role, he supports rescue personnel through the design and implementation of safe, efficient, and effective strength and conditioning programs, with the goal of ensuring they can consistently perform in demanding operational roles and maintain resilience in their personal lives.
Prior to joining O2X, Sean has been enhancing human performance since 2009. Most recently, he served as Wellness Director at a family-owned health club in Maryland for four years. Before that, he worked as a military contractor supporting the 57th Rescue Squadron as an on-site Strength and Conditioning Coach at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. During this five-year period, he also supported multiple Air National Guard units, including the 106th RQS, 125th STS, 306th RQS, and 134th Fighter Squadron, among others.
Earlier in his career, Sean supported professional and Division I athletes as a graduate assistant at Rutgers University and worked in private performance training as well as with special medical populations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, kids, and dog, as well as training and completing home renovation projects.

She provides both 1:1 and team-based interventions focused on building resilience, focus, confidence, communication, and motivation. Prior to joining O2X, Raven served as Assistant Athletic Director at Trinity Washington University. Before that, she spent eight years coaching at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels, working closely with collegiate athletes to develop both physical and mental aspects of performance. Her coaching background provides her with a strong understanding of the demands of high-level sport and the strategies needed to help individuals reach their potential.
Raven holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Seton Hall University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Western States. Pam Staso

Pam Staso is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as an Athletic Trainer. With a focus on human health, wellness, and performance, she evaluates the whole individual to address injury causation, prevention, and optimization. Through comprehensive treatment planning, she helps individuals achieve long-term improvement and sustain peak performance.
With over 15 years of experience, Pam has worked with elite Division I, II, and III collegiate athletes, as well as Naval Academy midshipmen. One of her most impactful roles was supporting the U.S. Army’s 14th Military Police Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, where she integrated musculoskeletal injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment protocols for Basic Trainees. During this time, she collaborated with military and healthcare professionals to implement elements of the TOMS and H2F programs, benefiting both trainees and leadership. Most recently, she worked in an orthopedic clinical setting, assisting physicians and physician assistants in treating musculoskeletal injuries.
Outside of work, Pam enjoys staying active in the gym and outdoors, reading, and watching movies. She also brings a competitive edge to racquetball and pickleball, often joking about her performance on the court, and enjoys attending concerts and staying engaged in an active, balanced lifestyle.

Kendall Stull

Prior to joining O2X, Joseph served as the Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 16th Military Police Brigade at Fort Liberty, where he oversaw coaching staff across multiple locations. In this role, he worked closely with military leadership to improve soldier lethality and readiness while also delivering combative-based instruction to enhance physical restraint and control capabilities. He previously served with the 18th Field Artillery Brigade, collaborating with unit fitness leaders, educating service members on exercise science principles, and developing individualized programming, including for postpartum and pregnant service members.
Earlier in his career, Joseph was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for All-Marine Corps Sports and the All-Marine Wrestling Team and an instructor for the USMC High-Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Program. He notably trained and coached a Marine who went on to compete for Team USA at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Ryan O’Connell serves as an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength and Conditioning for the 148th Air Support Operations Squadron (148th ASOS), a specialized tactical unit. In this capacity, he is responsible for the comprehensive physical readiness of both active-duty and Drill Status Guardsman (DSG) personnel, providing daily on-site training for the active component while managing remote programming for the DSG population. Ryan’s role extends to unit-wide education, the strategic planning of physical training events, and the seamless integration of strength and conditioning protocols into tactical maneuvers. To promote a culture of physical readiness and friendly competition, he organizes and executes annual fitness events that challenge the unit’s collective capabilities. Additionally, he oversees the administration and grading of Operator Fitness Tests and Initial Fitness Tests, ensuring all personnel meet rigorous performance standards.
Before his current appointment, Ryan amassed extensive experience within the tactical human performance community. He served with the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program under the 18th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Bragg, NC, where he played a key role in establishing the brigade’s H2F infrastructure and co-created the Steel Fitness Trainer (SFT) course. His experience also includes supporting elite tactical candidates, including individuals progressing through the TACP pipeline and those who have successfully attended and passed AFSOC selection courses. Ryan’s foundational passion for human performance was forged during his service with the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, where he developed a deep commitment to optimizing performance in high-stakes operational environments.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina, where he also gained additional experience through Athletes Arena and within the university’s athletic department. He is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach. Prior to joining O2X, Rah supported active-duty Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) operators, focusing on bridging the gap between rehabilitation and high performance. His experience across both clinical and tactical environments has shaped his expertise in return-to-duty programming, hybrid training models, and performance optimization. He has also contributed to leadership and program development initiatives, including the design and implementation of human performance strategies and efforts supporting professional development within the field.
Rah earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Winston-Salem State University and holds certifications including NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level 1 (USAW-L1), and ACSM Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP). He is also an ICE Physio Certified Specialist in Orthopedics and Fitness Athlete, as well as an ICE Physio Certified Master Clinician. Mike brings nearly two decades of experience in professional sports medicine across both the minor league and NHL levels. He spent nine seasons as a Head Athletic Trainer in the minor leagues across multiple organizations before advancing to the NHL, where he served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for 10 seasons, including time with the St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks. He continues to stay connected to professional hockey, currently supporting the Ducks organization in a locker room assistant role. Following his NHL career, Mike developed and implemented a military-focused sports medicine and injury prevention program for the U.S. Marine Corps’ 11th Regiment at Camp Pendleton (2019–2020). He later transitioned to Compete Performance and Rehab before joining O2X, where he now focuses on tactical populations while occasionally supporting event coverage when aligned with his primary role.
Mike earned his Master of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science in Movement and Exercise Science from Chapman University, where he also competed as a soccer and lacrosse athlete and worked as a student athletic trainer. With over two decades of athletic training experience, Nina brings a distinguished background in professional basketball. She spent two seasons as Head Athletic Trainer for the Los Angeles Lakers after previously working three seasons as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She later served three seasons as a Senior Athletic Trainer with the Charlotte Hornets. Prior to her NBA career, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Lakers’ minor league franchise for seven seasons, where she oversaw injury care, strength and conditioning support, and team operations. She also gained early-career experience at the University of California, Santa Barbara, supporting women’s basketball, men’s soccer, and baseball programs.
Nina holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Science in Sports Health Care from A.T. Still University. Before joining O2X, Isela spent five years with the Los Angeles Lakers organization, serving three seasons with the Lakers’ developmental team before advancing to an assistant athletic trainer role with the NBA squad, including during their 2020 championship season. Prior to her NBA career, she worked with men’s and women’s basketball at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and began her athletic training career supporting men’s volleyball and cheer at the University of California, Irvine.
Isela holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). Fernando Llamoca is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist working with the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. He applies expertise in sport psychology, positive psychology, and industrial-organizational psychology to help individuals develop and strengthen the mental skills needed to perform consistently and intentionally at a high level. Through his work, he equips clients with practical tools and strategies to enhance readiness, resilience, and performance in demanding work environments.
Over the past decade, Fernando has worked with athletes from the high school to collegiate levels, as well as soldiers from the United States Army. His approach is grounded in helping individuals build the mindset needed to thrive in the areas of life that matter most to them. He focuses on coaching, support, and guided self-discovery to help clients develop a strong internal narrative aligned with their goals and long-term growth.
Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, a Master’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in Sport Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Evan S. Bernhardy is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist and Program Manager specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer embedded with the Pueblo, CO Police Department. With both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University, Evan takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to optimizing performance, recovery, and long-term health in tactical populations. He also holds certifications in dry needling and cupping, further strengthening his ability to deliver preventative care and rehabilitation strategies.
Evan brings a broad range of experience from high-performance sports environments, including professional, collegiate, and elite youth athletics. Most recently, he served as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer for the Washington Commanders. His prior roles include Head Athletic Trainer for the Bay Area Panthers indoor football team, football athletic trainer at IMG Academy supporting the NFL International Player Pathway Program, Head Athletic Trainer at Penn State Schuylkill, and athletic trainer at Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. Across these roles, he has been recognized for building effective systems, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-quality care that emphasizes durability and performance.
Outside of work, Evan lives an active lifestyle as an amateur CrossFit athlete, giving him firsthand understanding of the physical and mental demands faced by those he supports. Matt Poland is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Nutrition with the Pueblo Police Department. He is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) who is passionate about helping tactical professionals and athletes reach their fullest potential. Matt uses evidence-based nutrition strategies combined with motivational interviewing techniques to develop individualized plans that enhance performance, resilience, and long-term health.
Prior to joining O2X, Matt gained extensive experience across clinical and athletic performance settings. He has worked in private practice with a focus on sports performance and eating disorders, as well as within multiple Division I athletics programs. Most recently, he served at the University of Kansas from 2022 to 2024, supporting a wide range of athletes, including Olympic qualifiers. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master’s in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Sports Nutrition from Florida State University.
Originally from Maryland, Matt now resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the mountains through backpacking, trail running, mountain biking, and hiking with his two dogs. He has also recently taken up guitar and woodworking, reflecting his commitment to continual growth and curiosity both personally and professionally.

Before joining Pueblo PD, Matt spent over two years consulting with active-duty infantry at Fort Drum, NY, where he developed mental performance programs tailored to the unique challenges of military operations. His work also includes experience supporting Division I football athletes and NFL draft prospects, helping them optimize mental readiness for high-stakes competition. Beyond tactical and sport environments, he has consulted with business professionals in industrial settings, translating performance psychology principles to workplace success.

Dave Bauman is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office and serves as the lead Physical Training Instructor at the Tarrant County College Law Enforcement Academy. Specializing in Strength and Conditioning for tactical professionals, Dave designs and implements comprehensive performance programs that enhance readiness, resilience, and long-term health for law enforcement and first responder teams. His work reflects a unique blend of corporate, military, and federal experience, allowing him to bring a well-rounded and practical approach to human performance.
Dave began his career as a Certified Public Accountant in Southern California before transitioning into human performance, where he discovered his true passion. He earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential in 2017 and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) certification in 2018. He further developed his expertise through roles with EXOS at Google, tactical strength and conditioning assignments at Marine Corps Base Quantico and Fort Bliss, and an internship with the Army strength program at West Point. His experience as a Federal Officer with Customs and Border Protection deepened his understanding of the physical and mental demands placed on tactical operators, shaping his holistic approach to performance training.
Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, reflecting his belief that peak performance begins from the inside out. Henry Jones is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist with the City of Richmond and a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong foundation in both clinical and performance psychology. In his role, he supports all City of Richmond employees, including Police and Fire personnel, by delivering group workshops focused on mental performance and resilience—tailored to the unique needs of each department. He also provides one-on-one coaching to help individuals apply these skills to their specific challenges.
While completing his graduate education, Henry interned as a sport psychology consultant for a Division III women’s basketball team and a local youth rowing club. He began his career at Dominion Hospital, supporting adults navigating complex mental health challenges through a partial hospitalization program. He later served as a Master Resilience Trainer – Performance Expert with Magellan Federal, working alongside U.S. Army soldiers to build resilience, enhance mental skills, and optimize performance in high-stress environments. Most recently, he worked in private practice at Bloom Health Centers, integrating clinical and performance psychology to help clients achieve personal and professional goals.
Henry holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Sport and Performance Psychology from Boston University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. Christine Ortega is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist with Mountain View Fire and Rescue, where she serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer specializing in injury prevention, management, and recovery. In her role, she helps tactical professionals maintain peak performance, reduce injury risk, and recover effectively to ensure sustained operational readiness.
She brings both clinical and coaching experience, with two years of direct experience evaluating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries, as well as a decade of human fitness and performance coaching. Christine has worked across a wide range of environments, including the YMCA, Gold’s Gym, Orangetheory Fitness, and community recreation centers, developing a versatile skill set working with diverse populations. During her graduate training, she also gained extensive experience supporting Division I football, volleyball, and men’s basketball, as well as San Antonio FC, secondary school athletes, and the San Antonio Fire Department.
Christine earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Pre-Rehabilitation Sciences and a minor in Psychology, followed by a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University. Nick Tavoukjian is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as an Athletic Trainer with the Santa Ana Police Department. In this role, he supports the health, performance, and operational readiness of tactical professionals through a comprehensive continuum of care, including injury and illness prevention, acute care, rehabilitation, reconditioning, and performance training.
Nick brings extensive experience in post-conflict rehabilitation, having previously supported combat-wounded, injured, and ill U.S. Marines at Wounded Warrior Battalion-West at Camp Pendleton in their recovery journeys to return to duty or transition to civilian life. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University, teaching in both graduate athletic training and undergraduate kinesiology programs, and has worked as a non-profit executive focused on advancing rehabilitation and sports medicine initiatives in Armenia and surrounding regions. His international work includes coordinating trauma-informed care and rehabilitation efforts for war-wounded individuals, refugees, and children with disabilities, as well as contributing to health system strengthening initiatives.
Nick is a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation and Movement Science at Azusa Pacific University and holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the same institution, along with a Bachelor of Arts in International and Middle East Studies. In her current role, she integrates evidence-based injury prevention strategies, functional movement principles, and performance optimization techniques to support tactical athletes in maintaining long-term health, resilience, and operational readiness.
Before joining O2X, Emily built a strong foundation in collegiate athletics, working primarily in Division I and Division III settings. She began her career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), supporting Football and Men’s Ice Hockey, and most recently served at UCLA as the primary athletic trainer for Men’s Rugby while also supporting over 50 additional club sports. Across these roles, she managed a wide range of injuries and performance needs, from sideline emergency care in high-impact sports to preventative and ergonomic care in non-traditional athletic environments. These experiences shaped her adaptable, athlete-centered approach to care.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Castleton University in 2015, where she also competed in Division III Ice Hockey. She later completed her Master of Education at Whittier College as a graduate assistant, strengthening her foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and holistic performance enhancement. Chase Kapuscienski is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Athletic Training, supporting both Loudoun County Fire and Loudoun County Police. In this role, he helps ensure first responders are physically prepared for the demands of their jobs through injury prevention, rehabilitation, and on-site support, with a focus on maintaining operational readiness and long-term career health.
Before joining O2X, Chase began his professional career providing orthopedic rehabilitation to federal law enforcement personnel, focusing on injury recovery and return-to-duty strategies. His early experience working with tactical professionals helped him build a strong foundation in movement assessment, injury management, and performance enhancement. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Mary Washington in 2020, where he was a four-year member and captain of the men’s lacrosse team.
Chase went on to complete a master’s degree in Athletic Training at Lasell University in 2022, where he was also a two-time team captain, GNAC Player of the Year, and conference champion. During his graduate training, he gained additional clinical experience supporting the women’s soccer team at Harvard University and the men’s lacrosse team at the College of the Holy Cross. His approach centers on three core concepts—attention, acceptance, and emotion regulation—which he uses to help personnel manage stress and optimize performance when it matters most.
For more than a decade, Fernando has worked with Soldiers, athletes, students, and professionals across military, higher education, athletics, and private sector settings. His experience includes serving as a Master Resilience Trainer with the U.S. Army, contributing to Army-wide programs and curriculum development at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, and teaching as an Assistant Professor at John F. Kennedy University. Across these roles, he has emphasized that high performance is not only about outcomes, but also about building resilience, purpose, and strong relationships.
Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Brandon Paulus is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist with the Chesterfield County Fire Department, where he supports the physical readiness and long-term health of first responders. In this role, he applies his clinical background and performance expertise to reduce injury risk, improve movement quality, and enhance resilience across the tactical population.
Brandon is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, earning his degree from Radford University in 2015. He is board certified in orthopaedics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, reflecting advanced specialization in musculoskeletal evaluation and manual therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds additional certifications in dry needling, spinal manipulation techniques, and blood flow restriction training. Before joining O2X, Brandon served as a physical therapist supporting military special operations within the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), where he provided rehabilitation, human performance support, and return-to-duty guidance across pre-selection, selection, and operational pipelines.
In addition to his tactical and clinical experience, Brandon has built a broad civilian practice centered on a movement-based, holistic approach to care, emphasizing injury prevention, pain management, functional restoration, and performance optimization. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he mentors and teaches future clinicians. Christina Philibert is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist within the Spokane Fire Department, specializing in Strength and Conditioning with a background in nutrition. She draws on 19 years of military service, including three combat deployments, and over 12 years of strength and conditioning experience to help tactical athletes build resilience, reduce injury risk, and optimize performance. Christina holds two Master’s degrees in Exercise Science from Jacksonville University and American Military University and maintains multiple professional certifications, including ACSM Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS).
Before joining O2X, Christina served as a Research Assistant with the Sports Medicine Department at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where she supported sports medicine research and clinical initiatives. She also coached Special Olympics powerlifting, experiences that strengthened both her technical expertise and her commitment to supporting athletes of all abilities. Grace Monroe, MS, RD, is an O2X On-Site Specialist with a focus on Nutrition and Strength and Conditioning. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Central Washington University and her master’s degree in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University. For over a decade, Grace has owned a personal training studio in Tacoma, Washington, where she assists recreational, tactical, and everyday athletes in achieving balance through exercise and nutrition.Dedicated to lifelong learning, Grace is committed to expanding her knowledge base. She is a certified Level 1 YogaFit instructor and a Level 1 Running Coach through the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Additionally, she actively contributes to the Research and Education Committee and is a member of the Tactical Special Interest Group for the American Sports and Performance Dietitian Association, as well as the Sports and Human Performance Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.In her personal time, Grace is an outdoor enthusiast, particularly passionate about trail running. She has completed multiple runs around the base of Mt. St. Helens and participated in several ultra-endurance events. Anne Hruskoci is an Assistant Instructor and Injury Prevention Specialist with O2X. While studying at the New England Conservatory of Music to become an opera singer, she found her passion in health and human performance after achieving an 80 pound weight loss. She witnessed the transformative impact of prioritizing her health after her weight loss led to a significant reduction in chronic pain caused by a physical disability that she was born with. This became the driving force behind Anne’s decision to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.As a DPT, she is passionate about treating patients with neurological diagnoses, such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, and TBIs, in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings, Anne still occasionally organizes singing performance opportunities for herself and musical colleagues in the Washington DC area to benefit causes she is passionate about.

Nate Larkin is an O2X Instructor. Nate brings 16 years of career experience from Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department. Currently at the rank of Lieutenant, Nate is assigned to T425 in Reston, VA. His passion for training is focused on the psychological and physiological stressors which the mind and body are subject to during training and on the fire ground. Previously, Nate was the Operational Training Unit Lead in the Field Training Branch where he managed, developed, and instructed numerous training classes during conferences both nationally and internationally. Nate is also a current H.O.T. Instructor at FDIC.

Christine LaVopa

Christine LaVopa
Christine LaVopa is an O2X Instructor. Christine earned her B.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in nutrition at Queens College in New York. She went on to attain her personal training, strength and conditioning and nutrition certifications leading to over 17 years of experience in the health, wellness and fitness industry. She enjoyed playing competitive level softball in high school and also competed in fitness competitions at the national level. As a wellness coach, she creates adaptable strategies and solutions for her clients. Her clientele ranges from professional single women to busy mothers, specifically military mothers. As a military spouse and mom, she has an appreciation and a great deal of gratitude for how challenging the military life can be so when she gets to help military members and their families, it brings an extra degree of accomplishment. Living healthy and being fit is her daily routine and when she isn’t helping clients she is learning more about fitness, nutrition and wellness to further serve her clients at a higher level.Although health and wellness is her passion, the second biggest joy in her life is her family. Spending time with her husband and kids. She’s also a true beach bum and enjoys the sun and sand at every opportunity.

Joseph “JT” Tardiff is an O2X Instructor who has been involved in the fire service since 2021. Before his career as a firefighter, JT worked as a State Special Police Officer for 10 years. JT has also been involved in coaching athletes since 2014 after he competed in the New England CrossFit Regionals where his team placed 8th overall. There he found a passion for fitness and living an active lifestyle and wanted to further his knowledge by obtaining his CrossFit level 1 & 2 trainer certifications. JT has worked with athletes in the class and individual settings to pass on his knowledge of fitness and overall health. He also played baseball and rugby growing up which helped shape his team mentality which he incorporates in his classes.

Patrick Farr

Patrick Farr is an O2X instructor who became an entrepreneur over ten years ago by taking the leap from the corporate world and opening a juice & smoothie bar called Quench Juicery. Since opening location #1, the business has expanded to 4 separate locations throughout New England, two of which have subsequently been sold off, and the remaining locations have now been franchised. Patrick is also active in the CrossFit community, being a former co-owner of CrossFit Overthrow, and holds his CrossFit L2 Trainer designation. Patrick holds a B.S. in Economics/Finance from Bentley University. Being a lifelong sports and fitness enthusiast, Patrick is a 6-time marathon finisher and enjoys sharing his knowledge of nutrition (Quench Juicery) and strength and conditioning (CrossFit) with like-minded individuals. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and doing anything physically active in an attempt to burn off the endless energy of their three young rowdy boys. He looks forward to a lifetime of physical activity and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to teach his young boys how to one day grow up to become great men.

Alima Mims
Chief Mims started in the Fire Service in 2001 as a volunteer. Quickly, he realized his passion for this work and decided to make it his career. Following his volunteer service, he was hired at Augusta Fire Department in 2007. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Mr. Mims also obtained training as an Emergency Medical Technician/Intermediate, during this time. Chief Mims became an adjunct instructor with the Georgia State Fire Academy and taught a plethora of classes across the state. Mr. Mims obtained his associate degree in Fire Science and his Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Administration and is working on finishing his Master’s degree in Homeland Security. Prior to becoming a Fire Chief, Mr. Mims was responsible for the State’s USAR and Hazardous Material Teams while working for Homeland Security. Chief Mims is also a National Incident Management System Instructor. Chief Mims is a Smoke Diver in 3 states. He enjoys mentoring young men to become productive members within society, and coaching Basketball for the youth.

In this role, he led strategic engagements and advised CEOs, management teams, and executive boards on issues relating to cyber and physical security risks and mitigation strategies, crisis preparedness, planning, management and response.He was the Cyber Engagement Manager supporting the U.S. State Department’s Global Engagement Center. Their mission is to lead, synchronize, and coordinate the U.S. Government’s interagency technology efforts to counter foreign propaganda and disinformation.Hans was also the Assistant Undersecretary for Homeland Security, and the Senior Advisor for Antiterrorism and Cybersecurity, Executive Office of Public Safety & Security, Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kortney was a collegiate athlete while studying Criminal Justice and Spanish at the University of Lynchburg and joined the Virginia State Police after graduation. While working full-time, Kortney completed her Master’s of Science in Human Performance in 2024. She is currently working with local law enforcement and fire departments to enhance their physical performance and wellness.

Courtney Carreon is a strength and conditioning coach, group fitness instructor, and graduate student in Kinesiology, specializing in human performance for tactical and adaptive populations. With over a decade of personal connection to the special operations community, she brings a deep understanding of the mindset and demands faced by military, law enforcement, and first responder professionals. Her academic focus centers on tactical performance, neuroplasticity, and injury prevention—blending evidence-based research with practical application. Passionate about turning data into actionable strategies, Courtney develops wellness solutions that help individuals perform better, recover smarter, and sustain long-term readiness. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), she coaches both general population clients and tactical athletes, emphasizing functional fitness and long-term development. Courtney also serves as Operations Manager for Warpaint Creations, a family-run knife and tool company founded by her husband, a former Navy SEAL. Balancing her roles as a coach, entrepreneur, and parent, she understands firsthand the demands of service life and the importance of sustainable, real-world wellness strategies. With a degree in mass communication, Courtney brings strong communication skills to her coaching—helping clients and teams understand the “why” behind the work. Outside of work, Courtney serves on the board of a local nonprofit that provides equine therapy to children with special needs. She enjoys experimenting with new training methods, traveling with her family, and staying connected to the communities she serves. For Courtney, human optimization is more than a career—it’s a personal mission rooted in service, performance, and impact.

Matt Lysy

Matthew Lysy is an O2X Instructor and firefighter with a Level 1 High Performance Medicine Coaching Academy Certification through Arena Labs. A nine year veteran of the fire service and second generation firefighter, Matthew has recognized the need to incorporate the human element into operations. It is Matthew’s belief that training and education can prepare fire service leaders for the rigorous responsibilities of critical decision making on the scenes of fires and emergencies. Matthew grew up in New Jersey spending most of his days outside with neighborhood friends. He spent seven summers as an ocean lifeguard and was a competitive swimmer throughout High School and College. Matthew is a proud Eagle Scout. Matthew holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from King’s College in Wilkes Barre, PA. Matthew is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Prince George’s County, MD Fire/EMS Department, an adjunct instructor with the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, and has recently completed his tenure as a Shop Steward for the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association of Prince George’s County. Matthew is an advocate for the camaraderie and bond that physical activity can instill among a group of individuals. When not working Matthew enjoys staying active and traveling to new places.

Jackson Sinnott

Jackson Sinnott
Jackson Sinnott is an O2X instructor who grew up in Duxbury, MA. He enlisted in the Army in 2014 and served seven years in the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Following his active-duty service, he transitioned to the Massachusetts National Guard, where he now serves as a State Marksmanship Instructor. Jackson graduated from Harvard University in 2025 with a degree in Government and secondary fields in Russian Language and Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia Studies.
Jackson’s passion for human performance began during his time at the Home Base Intensive Clinical Program and Comprehensive Brain Health and Trauma Program in Boston, MA. This experience introduced him to holistic health and wellness, shaping his belief that raw physical performance is only a fraction of what it takes to achieve lasting health and longevity.
Outside of academics and his military career, Jackson enjoys reading, golfing, and competing in USPSA shooting events. With a commitment to pushing his limits, he hopes to complete an ultra-marathon endurance event in 2026.

Alli Houseworth is a trauma-informed yoga therapist, educator, and human performance specialist with over 15 years of experience in communications, program development, and facilitation. A Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and iRest Level 2 Instructor, she works at the intersection of mental, physical, and emotional resilience, supporting high-performance populations including military, veteran, and first responder communities.
She has worked with organizations including the Army Recovery Care Program, Warriors at Ease, and Warrior Canine Connection, delivering programming that translates practices such as breathwork, mindfulness, mobility, and recovery into practical, accessible tools.
Her background in marketing and audience engagement strengthens her ability to connect with diverse groups and communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. She holds a certificate in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a master’s degree from Columbia University, where she served on the faculty for four years. A former military spouse, Alli brings lived experience, credibility, and compassion to her work, creating spaces that emphasize both accountability and care.

Anna Huddleston lives in Virginia Beach, VA, where she has proudly served the community through her private practice and as a Military Family Life Counselor in the Hampton Roads area. In her career, she has had the privilege of sharing her passion for mental health and wellness in both large and small settings, developing and delivering presentations on mental health wellness checks, self-advocacy in seeking support, and normalizing counseling as an essential tool for well-being. As a military family counselor, Anna facilitated workshops on resilience, work-life balance, stress management, effective communication, and solution-focused strategies tailored to military life. One of her most rewarding experiences was leading a wellness and self-advocacy workshop for high school athletes, witnessing young adults embrace the importance of mental health and the value of seeking help. An active-duty Navy spouse and mother of three passionate young women, Anna has cultivated a versatile résumé across diverse roles in seven states over the past 24 years. Balancing her passion and priority for family with a strong professional presence, she earned a master’s degree in professional counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has found her calling in empowering clients to find their strengths and supporting fellow counselors to excel in their roles. She is committed to contributing to organizations that value proactive health, mental well-being, and practical skill development, while also advancing her passion for collaborating with professionals, broadening her expertise, and driving meaningful impact within communities.

Jen is an O2X Instructor whose commitment to Health & Wellness was shaped by her son’s brain tumor diagnosis, a defining moment that fueled her passion for resilience and service. She has spent years supporting Veterans and First Responders, helping them cut through the noise and take ownership of simple, effective habits that support their well‑being.
She currently serves as the Health & Wellness Coordinator for her local Township's Fire and Police Departments and is actively involved in her local First Responder Peer Support network, offering connection, guidance, and practical support for the challenges they face both on duty and off. Jen also helps coordinate and lead Equine First Responder Training at a local barn, integrating experiential learning with stress regulation and communication skills.
A lifelong student, Jen thrives on learning something new every day. Her mission is to empower First Responders and their families to become the strongest, healthiest versions of themselves by focusing on what truly moves the needle; foundational habits, honest self‑reflection, and steady 1% progress that compounds into lasting change.

Mark is an O2X Leadership Specialist. Mark served 22 years as a Navy fighter pilot flying F-14 and F/A-18 aircraft, accumulating over 3200 hours and 830 aircraft carrier arrested landings. A former Blue Angel pilot, he flew the Left Wing and Slot positions as “Blue Angel No. 3 and 4” in 2008 and 2009. He served as the Squadron Commanding Officer of the VFA-192 Golden Dragons, and concluded his career as the Naval Aviation Legislative Affairs Portfolio Manager. Mark is currently an airline pilot for United Airlines. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University.

Brian Kitching

Brian Kitching is a former Army Ranger and Lieutenant Colonel with over 20 years of experience commanding high-risk missions in Special Operations and other combat units.In 10+ overseas deployments and 50+ months of combat, Kitching led hundreds of high-risk operations and was recognized on three separate occasions for bravery in battle. Kitching is a recipient of the nation’s third highest military decorations for gallantry, the Silver Star, as well as six Bronze Stars, two awarded for valor.Kitching served as a Downin Scholar at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point and as a military fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s College in London. His recent assignments include serving as a White House Fellow and Advisor in the Domestic Policy Council and Office of Management and Budget, and as an advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Army’s senior-most General, at the Pentagon. His final assignment was at the 101st Airborne Division, where he was the first African American to command the storied 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment (“No Slack”), and he also served as the Director of Operations for the Division.Kitching earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Alabama A&M University, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a Masters of Arts in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Kitching is a lifetime member of the Council of Foreign Relations.

Warren is a retired Coast Guard aviator and mission support specialist with over 20 years of experience planning and executing high-risk missions in the aviation, afloat and special missions communities. On three diverse continents and in four different aircraft, Warren flew over 1800 flight hours, conducting hundreds of operations in support of all 11-statutory Coast Guard missions. He has been recognized with various service and community awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Coast Guard Commendation Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal. He served as a Congressional Fellow, assigned to the office of Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK); the Chief of External Affairs for the 14th CG District and the principal liaison for Indo-PACOM Theater Security Cooperation; and the Deputy Chief of Incident Management and the Aviation Program Manager for most of the Coast Guard's west coast operations. Warren’s last operational assignment was as the Logistics Department Head and Commanding Officer of Military Personnel, at Sector Los Angeles – Long Beach, where he provided mission support for all operations in southern California and parts of Central America. Warren is a native of the Bronx, NY. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a Command and Staff Diploma from the Naval War College, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii, Richardson School of Law. He is a contributor to the Indo-Pacific Defense Forum, and a Life Member of the National Naval Officers Association. Warren also serves as the Head Lacrosse Coach at Wilson High School, in Long Beach, CA.

Brian Reed

Brian Reed
Brian Reed retired from the U.S. Army in 2023 as a Brigadier General after more than 34 years of active-duty service. He was commissioned as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy in 1989. His leadership experience includes commanding the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry (Stryker), and the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. He is a veteran of numerous combat and operational deployments, including tours for Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Uphold Democracy. Complementing his operational background, Brian holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Maryland. He also served in key roles at West Point, including as the Brigade Tactical Officer, Deputy Head of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership, and the USMA Chief of Staff. In his final assignment, he served as a Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense. Brian now channels his dedication to service as a passionate advocate for active-duty, first responder, and veteran mental health. He puts this advocacy into action through challenging physical endeavors, from a Denali expedition to climbs and hikes in the White Mountains and upstate New York. To raise funds, generate awareness, and honor the fallen, he has completed marathons and half-marathons and is an annual participant in tribute events like the Manion WOD, The Murph Challenge, the Extortion 17 Memorial Run/Ruck, and the CHAD1000X.

Sara Hendershot

Sara Hendershot is an O2X Thrive Specialist. Sara is a lifelong athlete and competitor. She grew up in Boston, MA where she developed a love of sports from an early age. During her high school years, she moved to Simsbury, CT where she was introduced to the sport of rowing. Immediately drawn to the nature of the sport, she realized that this highly technical craft rewarded relentless hard work, and she committed herself to the goal of competing in college.This lead Sara to be recruited to row at Princeton University where she became her team’s Captain, a two-time All American, and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. Upon graduation, she earned her way onto the United States Women’s National team and became a two-time World Champion and 2012 Olympian in the Women’s Pair where she finished in fourth place. Through this journey, she faced several bouts of injury, which lead her to study human movement and physiology and develop a passion for coaching and high performance.After retiring from the sport of rowing, Sara has taken the lessons she learned from professional sport and applied them to performing in business and life. She has developed a career in brand marketing for health and fitness companies, where most recently she helped build a sports nutrition brand from before its launch to its fourth consecutive year of growth. She is also a performance consultant to the Harvard Women’s Rowing Team, an avid mental health advocate, and she continues to compete in athletic events like the NYC and Chicago marathon. Sara now lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband Mike, son Maverick, and French Bulldog Bron.

Myron Burns

Myron J. Burns, PhD is an O2X Resilience Specialist. Dr. Burns completed his undergraduate studies from Howard University in Washington, DC and graduate training in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. In addition, he has completed post-doctoral training in health psychology from the University of Miami. Dr. Burns is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Novasoutheastern University College of Psychology.He has instructed a variety of courses in psychology, counseling, and substance abuse. Dr. Bruns has worked with individuals, families, first responders, and military personnel on processing trauma and stress, depression, drug use, and stress management. His research interests are in health, personality, resiliency, and stress process variables. Dr. Bruns is a native Floridian, and when not working, this self described “military brat” can be found in the gym or traveling abroad.

Lauren Simmonds is an O2X Resilience Specialist. Lauren Simmonds has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 2015. Lauren went to the University of Central Florida for her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and continued her education at Nova Southeastern University where she obtained both her Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.Lauren completed an internship at the Southern Arizona VA in Tucson, AZ and residency at the James A. Haley VA in Tampa, FL. Lauren continued her work with the military/Veteran population at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC, working primarily with the 82nd Airborne Division.In 2019, Lauren went through support assessment and selection for AFSOC-GSU and began her career with Special Operations. Presently, Lauren is working at the Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, NC. Lauren has extensive experience with trauma focused interventions for the treatment of PTSD (combat and MST), as well as the treatment of TBI, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbance.

Elizabeth Werly

Dr. Elizabeth Werly is an O2X Mental Performance and Resilience Specialist. She has a foundation in clinical psychology and works as an operational aviation psychologist for the United States Army. Dr. Werly has provided individual and organizational consultation for military personnel in both training and deployed environments.Her training focuses on performance enhancement in high stress, fast-paced environments with extreme performance expectations. Her work focuses on education, self-awareness, and advanced resilience training for individuals and teams in order to build and foster a culture of well-being for continued advancement and peak performance. Dr. Werly has been working with the military since 2015 and has deployed twice in support of combat operations.Her areas of expertise include: performance enhancement, advanced behavioral consultation, resilience and mental performance, personnel selection, executive coaching, leader coaching and development, training and program support, performance psychology, generational trends, and program evaluation.Dr. Werly currently lives in Nashville with her Husband Dan and their son, Jack.

Shumi Rawlins

Dr. Shumi Rawlins is an O2X Resilience Specialist and a licensed clinical psychologist. In 2005, after completing her training and licensure as a Psychologist, she earned her commission in the United States Navy. She later went on to serve in the Reserves. Dr. Rawlins has spent over 15 years combining her clinical work with her experiences as a military spouse in order to support active duty service members and their families as a clinician and teammate. In her role as an embedded psychologist at a Special Operations command, she became highly experienced at recognizing and addressing the outcomes of working in a high-risk environment and teaching strategies for strength and resilience. By having a specialization in assessment and selection, Dr. Rawlins has developed an understanding of the personalities and characteristics of those drawn to working in high-risk environments and necessary techniques for success and effectiveness.

Kally Swibes

Kally Swibes
Kally Swibes is an O2X Resilience & Mental Performance Specialist. She currently works for Versado Training – a company out of Raleigh Durham, specializing in adult learning within the life science industry. Prior to Versado, Kally worked in the advertising industry in Chicago and helped start a program called Athletes Connected, a collaboration between the University of Michigan and the NCAA. Her work with Athletes Connected allowed Kally to speak to Student Athletes at the University of Michigan and around the Big Ten about her struggles around mental health. The goal of these workshops was to normalize the topic of mental health and to promote help seeking in student athletes – a group who generally does not reach out for help when struggling with mental health issues.Kally now speaks with student athletes and organizations around the country using her story to demonstrate the power of human performance and how it contributes to the success of every individual.

Andy Haffele

Andy Haffele
Andy Haffele is an O2X Resilience Specialist and former U.S. Navy SEAL. He grew up in small-town southern Wisconsin enjoying the outdoors and playing football before attending the United States Naval Academy, where he studied Computer Science, competed in intercollegiate boxing, and graduated in 2001. He went on to complete SEAL training in San Diego and reported to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team ONE in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Only four months into training with his first SEAL platoon, Andy was critically wounded during a live-fire training accident on March 18, 2004, sustaining a close-range gunshot wound to the chest that caused severe and permanent nerve damage to his right arm and shoulder. Just six weeks later, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and required additional surgery and radiation treatments before achieving remission.
A little over a year after Andy’s accident, his former platoon deployed to Afghanistan and was involved in Operation Red Wings, where 19 American servicemen were killed in action, including five of his platoon-mates. The events of that mission were later chronicled in the book and film Lone Survivor.
After years of physical recovery and therapy, Andy was medically retired from the Navy. He later transitioned into the Information Technology field and now works for a law enforcement agency in the Rocky Mountain region, supporting technology, leadership, and peer support programs.
Andy believes he has been given a second chance at life. A husband and father of three boys, he speaks openly about resilience, faith, and overcoming adversity while helping military members, first responders, and others navigate life’s most difficult moments.

Jennifer Pugh

Jennifer Pugh
Jennifer Pugh is an O2X Resilience Specialist with expertise in mental health skills training. Her areas of focus include acute and chronic stress management, emotion regulation, anger management, effective communication, crisis intervention, mindfulness, and cognitive restructuring. Jennifer served for many years as a staff clinician at her local VA hospital, engaging servicemembers, veterans, first responders and government employees in a variety of mental health treatment modalities. She now owns her own practice and teaches graduate clinical courses at Boston College. Jennifer received her B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and her MSW with a focus in veterans and military families from Boston College. After graduation, she went on to complete an academic fellowship at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. She is currently licensed to practice clinical social work in Massachusetts and New York, and is certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy. Her professional experience includes the provision of individual psychotherapy, group therapy, clinical case management, and psychoeducation training in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. With personal ties to law enforcement and the military, Jennifer appreciates that the optimization of mental wellness is an integral part of maximizing human performance. Following the same advice she gives her clients, her free time consists of eating fun foods, getting outdoors, catching quality zzz’s, and working up a good sweat.
