
Jimmy Morin
Dr. Jimmy Morin is an O2X Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the Pueblo Police Department. In this role, he supports the health, resilience, and performance of law enforcement personnel through evidence-based injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation programming, performance optimization, and individualized care designed to enhance operational readiness. Jimmy brings experience spanning athletic training, strength and conditioning, and higher education.
As he is joining O2X, he continues to serve as a secondary school athletic trainer, where he develops comprehensive injury prevention and performance programs, manages acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and collaborates with coaches and administrators to promote athlete health and performance. His background also includes serving as a Division I athletic trainer at the University of North Dakota, where he functioned as the Head Athletic Trainer for assigned athletic programs, overseeing comprehensive medical care for student-athletes while coordinating with physicians, coaches, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, a Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology, and a Ph.D. in Education, Health, and Behavior Studies. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC/LAT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and holds additional certifications in dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), spinal manipulation therapy, myofascial cupping, and kinesiology taping.
