Sean Conway is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist in Strength and Conditioning with Baltimore County Fire Department. In this role, Sean supports the dedicated rescue personnel through the design and implementation of safe, efficient and effective strength and conditioning programs. The primary outcome of his work is to ensure these dedicated individuals can repeatedly perform in their demanding roles and in their personal lives.Prior to joining O2X, Sean has been enhancing human performance since 2009. Most recently, Sean was the Wellness Director at a family owned health club in Maryland for 4 years. Prior to that, he worked as a military contractor directly supporting the 57th Rescue Squadron as the On-Site Strength and Conditioning Coach at RAF Lakenheath, UK, Additionally, during this 5 year period he supported various other Air National Guard units including the 106th RQS, 125th STS, 306th RQS, and 134th Fighter Squadron among others. In advance of these opportunities, Sean supported professional and DI athletes as a graduate assistant at Rutgers University, private performance training and training special medical populations. Sean received a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology and Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey.In his free time, Sean enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, kids and dog, training and home renovations.
