
Sean Conway
Sean Conway is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist in Strength and Conditioning and Program Manager with the Baltimore County Fire Department. In this role, he supports rescue personnel through the design and implementation of safe, efficient, and effective strength and conditioning programs, with the goal of ensuring they can consistently perform in demanding operational roles and maintain resilience in their personal lives.
Prior to joining O2X, Sean has been enhancing human performance since 2009. Most recently, he served as Wellness Director at a family-owned health club in Maryland for four years. Before that, he worked as a military contractor supporting the 57th Rescue Squadron as an on-site Strength and Conditioning Coach at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. During this five-year period, he also supported multiple Air National Guard units, including the 106th RQS, 125th STS, 306th RQS, and 134th Fighter Squadron, among others.
Earlier in his career, Sean supported professional and Division I athletes as a graduate assistant at Rutgers University and worked in private performance training as well as with special medical populations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, kids, and dog, as well as training and completing home renovation projects.
