
Crystal Schurko
Crystal Schurko serves as a Senior Front End Engineer at O2X Human Performance, where she focuses on web and mobile application development, building intuitive user experiences and implementing new features that enhance the functionality and accessibility of O2X’s digital platforms. In her role, Crystal works closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create seamless user-centered solutions that support tactical athletes, coaches, and organizational leaders. Drawing on her strong operational background, she also plays an important role in refining agile development processes and improving collaboration across teams to support efficient product delivery and continuous platform improvement.
Prior to joining O2X, Crystal held software engineering leadership roles across the healthcare, publishing, and technology industries. She served as a Lead Software Engineer at Florida Blue and Banyan Hill Publishing, where she led development efforts focused on scalable web applications and user-focused digital experiences. Earlier in her career, she worked in client-facing software development roles at MercuryWorks and gained experience in embedded systems engineering with Magic Leap. Throughout her career, Crystal has built expertise in frontend engineering, agile methodologies, and product-driven development, allowing her to effectively bridge technical execution with business and user needs. She also maintains a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development, earning certifications across areas including full-stack web development, embedded systems, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, while also participating in and winning multiple hackathons.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading, research, and design, and is constantly exploring new technologies and creative outlets to expand her knowledge and skills. She lives in South Florida with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys balancing her passion for technology with family life and personal growth.
