Paul McCullough is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he helps lead the organization’s strategic growth, client engagement, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Adam La Reau and Gabriel Gomez, Paul has played a central role in shaping the company’s mission, culture, and industry-leading human performance model. As President, he focuses on ensuring O2X’s products, programs, and services are positioned to create meaningful impact across military, federal, public safety, and other high-performance organizations. Driven by a deep passion for supporting those who serve others, Paul remains committed to improving the health, readiness, resilience, and performance of tactical populations nationwide.
During O2X’s formative years, Paul led the company’s business development efforts and helped build the customized human performance platform that now supports hundreds of organizations across the United States. He was instrumental in adapting O2X’s methodology to meet the unique operational demands of each client, helping develop many of the programs, services, and solutions that continue to define the organization today. Prior to co-founding O2X, Paul served eleven years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL with SEAL Team Eight and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Throughout his military career, he conducted multiple combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other contingency operations around the world. Paul separated from military service as a Chief Petty Officer and received numerous awards for valor and leadership, including the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with Valor, and two Joint Service Commendation Medals with Valor. Following his military career, Paul worked on the Institutional Sales Team at Eaton Vance Investment Managers before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship and fully dedicate himself to advancing human performance through O2X.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from American Military University and continues to remain deeply connected to the tactical and veteran communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, staying active, and pursuing opportunities that challenge both physical and mental performance. His leadership philosophy continues to reflect the same principles that shaped his military career — discipline, service, resilience, and a commitment to helping others perform at their highest level.
