Jonathan Lamar
Jonathan Lamar is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength and Conditioning with D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services (DCFEMS). His responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing individualized training programs, and providing ongoing support for performance optimization and injury prevention.
Prior to joining O2X, Jonathan served in the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. In this role, he helped develop and teach the Unit Fitness Leader course, and the Selection & Schools Prep program. Earlier in his career, Jonathan trained football, baseball, soccer and track & field athletes at Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Jackson State, and Western Kentucky.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Sports Performance from Louisiana Tech University. He is committed to learning new research and applying it to his practice. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys reading science fiction novels, hiking, and golfing.
