
Zachary Interewicz
Zachary Interewicz is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength & Conditioning with Frederick County Fire and Rescue. In this role, he works closely with firefighters to enhance both physical and mental performance, ensuring they are prepared for the high demands and stressors of the fire and rescue profession. His approach integrates strength and conditioning with a performance-focused mindset to support readiness, durability, and long-term resilience.
Prior to joining Frederick County Fire and Rescue, Zach gained experience working in a variety of performance settings, including as a strength and conditioning and rehab specialist in hybrid physical therapy and performance facilities. He also served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, gaining hands-on experience supporting elite-level athletes. Earlier in his career, he worked with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Combat Aviation Brigade, further developing his understanding of human performance in high-stress operational environments.
Zach holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Conditioning, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through ice hockey, spending time outdoors, reading, listening to podcasts, and being with friends and family, reflecting his balanced and performance-driven lifestyle.
