Isela Sanchez is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the City of San Francisco Police Department. In her role, she focuses on prioritizing and addressing officers’ physical, mental, and emotional health needs, ensuring they remain fit, focused, and resilient while serving their community. Through tailored injury prevention strategies and holistic care, Isela plays a key role in optimizing the performance and well-being of tactical athletes.Before joining O2X, Isela spent five years with the Los Angeles Lakers organization. She contributed three seasons as part of the Lakers’ developmental team before advancing to an assistant athletic trainer role with the Lakers for two seasons, including the 2020 championship season. Prior to her NBA tenure, Isela worked with men’s and women’s basketball at the University of Texas, El Paso (UTEP), and began her athletic training career supporting men’s volleyball and cheer at the University of California, Irvine.Isela holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas, El Paso, and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University in Riverside, California. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). With a passion for helping others and extensive hands-on experience, Isela is a vital resource in enhancing the health and performance of tactical athletes.
