His experience leading multidisciplinary teams and refining software development lifecycles has helped strengthen O2X’s ability to deliver high-quality digital products that support operational excellence and user engagement.
Dan’s professional background spans both military service and the private technology sector. He initially enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 following the events of 9/11 before being selected for an officer candidate program in 2004. Dan later graduated from the United States Naval Academy as a Trident Scholar with a degree in Computer Science in 2008 and went on to serve as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG-49) and USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). Following his military service, Dan transitioned into software engineering and technology leadership roles, beginning with work supporting the intelligence community at Zeta Technologies. He later held engineering and leadership positions with organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sezzle, and Best Buy, where he gained extensive experience implementing large-scale technology solutions across startup, enterprise, and national retail environments. His diverse technical and operational background continues to shape his leadership approach and vision for digital innovation at O2X.
Dan resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Darray, and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, serving his community, and pursuing his passion for cooking and barbecue. Known for smoking meats for large gatherings, holiday parties, and church events, Dan jokingly considers award-winning pit master to be his future retirement career. His enthusiasm for bringing people together through food reflects the same leadership, creativity, and team-oriented mindset that he brings to his work at O2X.
