Kelly Wilson is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS), using her expertise to help tactical professionals and athletes recover from injuries while optimizing their performance. Kelly’s role involves providing education and hands-on support to enhance physical performance and resilience, ensuring individuals return to peak performance levels safely and effectively.Prior to joining O2X, Kelly built an extensive career in both clinical and athletic settings. She began working with the Virginia Tech Hokies, treating athletes recovering from sports-related injuries and serving as a clinic director until 2017. After relocating to northern Virginia, she provided rehabilitation services to a diverse range of clients, including politicians, service members, and professional athletes from the Washington Commanders, Washington Nationals, DC United, Washington Spirit, Loudoun United Football Club, and DC Breeze Ultimate Frisbee. Additionally, Kelly worked at the Inova Concussion Clinic, specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation and leading the Return to Performance Quality Improvement Project, which focused on improving the consistency and accuracy of testing across physical therapy clinics.Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science with an Honors Baccalaureate Degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2009, where she also minored in Psychology and Chemistry. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2012. As a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS), Kelly continues to be at the forefront of her field, focusing on rehabilitation and performance enhancement to support athletes and tactical professionals in achieving their peak potential.
