
Kelly Wilson
Kelly Wilson is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS), leveraging her expertise to help tactical professionals and athletes recover from injury while optimizing performance. In her role, she provides education, hands-on treatment, and performance-focused rehabilitation strategies to support safe and effective return to peak readiness.
Prior to joining O2X, Kelly built an extensive clinical and sports medicine career working with a wide range of populations. She began with the Virginia Tech Hokies, treating athletes recovering from sports-related injuries and serving as a clinic director until 2017. After relocating to Northern Virginia, she provided rehabilitation services to diverse clients, including service members, politicians, and professional athletes from organizations such as the Washington Commanders, Washington Nationals, DC United, Washington Spirit, Loudoun United Football Club, and DC Breeze Ultimate Frisbee. She also worked at the Inova Concussion Clinic, specializing in vestibular rehabilitation and leading a Return to Performance Quality Improvement Project to improve consistency and accuracy of clinical testing across physical therapy settings.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with an Honors Baccalaureate Degree from Virginia Tech in 2009, where she also minored in Psychology and Chemistry. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2012. As a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS), she continues to advance rehabilitation and performance practices to support both athletes and tactical professionals at the highest level.
