Gabriel Gomez

Gabriel Gomez
Gabriel Gomez is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s overall strategy, growth, and operational direction. As CEO, Gabriel oversees all facets of the business, guiding the company through continued expansion while maintaining a strong focus on mission alignment, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. He works closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives, manage enterprise risk, strengthen partnerships, and advance O2X’s position as a leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In addition to overseeing day-to-day business operations, Gabriel leads investor relations and financial strategy efforts that have supported the company’s significant year-over-year growth. As one of O2X’s founding members, he has played a critical role in every stage of the company’s development — from its original formation and startup phase through its rapid national expansion and evolution into a trusted provider of human performance programs across military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors.
Prior to founding O2X, Gabriel built a successful career in private equity and investment management, working with firms including Advent International, Summit Partners, and Bowles Hollowell Conner. He also co-founded Equality Asset Management, where he focused on investment strategy and business growth initiatives. In 2013, Gabriel stepped away from Advent International to run for the United States Senate seat vacated by John Kerry, ultimately winning the Republican nomination in the Massachusetts special election. Before his business and political career, Gabriel served as both a Naval Aviator and Navy SEAL Officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy. He later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Gabriel holds a unique place in U.S. Naval history as only the second individual to qualify as both an aircraft carrier pilot and a Navy SEAL Officer, a distinction that reflects the discipline, adaptability, and leadership that continue to shape his approach today.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gabriel remains deeply committed to supporting the military and veteran communities. He is a co-founder of the Navy SEAL Foundation New England and previously served as a Trustee for Noble & Greenough School. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and supporting causes connected to leadership development, service, and resilience. He lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.

Paul McCullough

Paul McCullough
Paul McCullough is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he helps lead the organization’s strategic growth, client engagement, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Adam La Reau and Gabriel Gomez, Paul has played a central role in shaping the company’s mission, culture, and industry-leading human performance model. As President, he focuses on ensuring O2X’s products, programs, and services are positioned to create meaningful impact across military, federal, public safety, and other high-performance organizations. Driven by a deep passion for supporting those who serve others, Paul remains committed to improving the health, readiness, resilience, and performance of tactical populations nationwide.
During O2X’s formative years, Paul led the company’s business development efforts and helped build the customized human performance platform that now supports hundreds of organizations across the United States. He was instrumental in adapting O2X’s methodology to meet the unique operational demands of each client, helping develop many of the programs, services, and solutions that continue to define the organization today. Prior to co-founding O2X, Paul served eleven years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL with SEAL Team Eight and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Throughout his military career, he conducted multiple combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other contingency operations around the world. Paul separated from military service as a Chief Petty Officer and received numerous awards for valor and leadership, including the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with Valor, and two Joint Service Commendation Medals with Valor. Following his military career, Paul worked on the Institutional Sales Team at Eaton Vance Investment Managers before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship and fully dedicate himself to advancing human performance through O2X.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from American Military University and continues to remain deeply connected to the tactical and veteran communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, staying active, and pursuing opportunities that challenge both physical and mental performance. His leadership philosophy continues to reflect the same principles that shaped his military career — discipline, service, resilience, and a commitment to helping others perform at their highest level.

Adam La Reau

Adam La Reau
Adam La Reau is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key leadership role in guiding the organization’s strategic growth, operational direction, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Gabriel Gomez and Paul McCullough, Adam has been instrumental in building the company into a nationally recognized leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performing organizations. In his role as President, Adam helps oversee the continued evolution of O2X’s programs, partnerships, and operational initiatives while ensuring the company remains aligned with its mission of improving the health, safety, readiness, and resilience of those who serve others.
Throughout O2X’s growth, Adam has played a foundational role in developing the organization’s operational infrastructure and translating elite human performance principles into scalable, real-world solutions for military, federal, public safety, and industrial populations. His leadership has helped shape the systems, services, and educational methodologies that continue to define O2X today. Prior to founding O2X, Adam served in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL, where he operated in demanding, high-performance environments that required discipline, adaptability, teamwork, and resilience. His experiences in Naval Special Warfare heavily influenced the development of O2X’s holistic approach to human performance, emphasizing the integration of physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, stress management, and injury prevention to support long-term operational effectiveness and overall well-being.
Adam remains deeply passionate about leadership, performance, and supporting the tactical community through sustainable human performance initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and being with his family and friends. His leadership philosophy reflects the same principles that shaped both his military and professional career — service, accountability, continuous improvement, and a commitment to helping individuals and teams perform at their highest level.

Eamonn Burke

Eamonn Burke
Eamonn Burke is the Executive Vice President of Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads a nationally distributed sales team focused on revenue generation, client retention, and strategic account management. In his role, Eamonn oversees business development initiatives across the organization and helps drive the continued expansion of O2X’s human performance programs within military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors. His strategic leadership and vision have played a significant role in positioning O2X as a national leader in human performance programming for tactical populations and high-performance organizations.
Since joining O2X in 2016, Eamonn has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth strategy, operational sales infrastructure, and client engagement approach. He led the implementation of O2X’s CRM system, developed a scalable sales pipeline, and built a decentralized sales team with nationwide coverage. His ability to foster strong relationships throughout the tactical and public safety communities has contributed significantly to O2X’s consistent year-over-year revenue growth and expanding client footprint. Prior to joining O2X, Eamonn held sales and business development roles with security-focused technology startups, including Resilient Systems and Rapid7, where he specialized in identifying emerging market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
Eamonn is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, where he was also a collegiate baseball player. Outside of work, he is a passionate endurance athlete who has completed nine marathons, a Half Ironman, and three Pan-Mass Challenge cycling events. Eamonn lives in Milton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Darcy, and enjoys pursuing fitness and outdoor challenges alongside his professional career.

John Vargo

John Vargo
John Vargo serves as the Senior Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s municipal sales strategy and supports the development of impactful human performance programs for state and local government agencies nationwide. In his role, John works closely with municipal leadership teams, public safety organizations, and strategic partners to expand O2X’s presence within the fire service, law enforcement, and other tactical communities. Leveraging his operational experience, leadership background, and business development expertise, he helps create customized solutions that improve the health, safety, resilience, and performance of first responders and public sector professionals.
Prior to joining O2X, John completed a distinguished 20-year career with the Chandler Fire Department in Arizona, where he served as an Engineer Paramedic. Throughout his fire service career, he remained heavily involved in leadership and advocacy efforts, serving as an IAFF Union Representative, an Apparatus Committee Member, and co-founding the Chandler FireFighter Athletic Association, which supported firefighter participation in the World Police and Fire Games. In addition to his public safety background, John spent 15 years working in real estate and also served as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR), helping clients and peers navigate asset diversification, portfolio management, and retirement planning strategies. Following his retirement from the fire service, John founded Turn In, a nonprofit organization focused on introducing mindfulness and meditation practices to first responders, and became a recognized keynote speaker on mental wellness, resilience, and stress management within the tactical community.
In 2019, John became an mPEAK-certified instructor through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness and later contributed as an instructor for the Chopra Global 21-Day Business Kickstarter in 2022. Outside of work, John enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through running, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and yoga. He resides in San Diego, California with his wife and is a proud father of three adult children and grandfather of two.

Blake Brinkerhoff

Blake Brinkerhoff
Blake Brinkerhoff serves as the Senior Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s federal sales initiatives and supports the integration of human performance programs across U.S. government agencies. In his role, Blake oversees the federal sales team, focusing on strategic business development, relationship management, client retention, and long-term partnership growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. Drawing on his tactical experience and leadership background, he works closely with agency stakeholders to ensure O2X programs are aligned with operational demands and mission readiness objectives.
Blake’s professional foundation was built during his 12-year career as a Navy SEAL, where he completed three deployments supporting operations in more than 20 countries. Serving with SEAL Team 4, Blake held leadership positions including Lead Breacher and Assault Team Leader, where he managed high-risk operations requiring precision, adaptability, and decisive leadership. In the later stages of his military career, he became the Lead Instructor for Close Quarters Combat at SEAL Qualification Training, where he trained and mentored more than 300 SEAL candidates annually, helping develop the next generation of Naval Special Warfare operators. His operational experience and passion for leadership, resilience, and performance continue to shape his approach to supporting federal clients and tactical populations through O2X.
Blake earned his degree in Organizational Leadership while serving on active duty and later completed the Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program at the University of Southern California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Oceanside, California. An avid outdoorsman, Blake is passionate about surfing, spearfishing, and staying connected to the ocean, pursuits that reflect the same commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance that define both his personal and professional life.

Jason Carver

Jason Carver
Jason Carver serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at O2X Human Performance, where he leads federal business development efforts focused on strategic opportunities across the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies. In this role, Jason works closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, and internal leadership teams to identify, capture, and implement opportunities that expand O2X’s integrated human performance model to tactical populations nationwide. His work centers on building long-term partnerships that improve readiness, resilience, and performance for those operating in high-demand environments.
Prior to joining O2X, Jason served 21 years in Naval Special Warfare as a Navy SEAL, holding leadership positions across SEAL Teams, Special Reconnaissance units, and multiple command staffs throughout his career. He completed his service at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training (BUD/S), a full-circle opportunity that allowed him to help shape and mentor the next generation of Special Operations personnel. Throughout his military career, Jason developed a deep appreciation for the role that physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, injury prevention, and mental resilience play in operational effectiveness and long-term health. In addition to his military experience, Jason co-founded Outlier CrossFit in San Diego, where he helped grow the business into a successful performance and training community, sponsored a competitive team at the CrossFit Games, and later exited the business successfully.
Jason brings decades of leadership experience in high-performance environments and remains passionate about advancing human performance within the tactical community. Based in San Diego with his wife and two sons, he continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges through mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and trail running. Most recently, Jason completed the JFK 50-Mile Ultramarathon alongside fellow O2X teammates.

Zack McAdams

Zack McAdams
Zack McAdams serves as the Senior Vice President of Training & Education at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the organization’s in-person and virtual training and education programs delivered to tactical and high-performance populations worldwide. Bringing more than a decade of experience as a tactical athlete and military leader, Zack manages all aspects of O2X’s training operations, including specialist staffing and development, event planning, client coordination, logistics, equipment forecasting, inventory management, budget oversight, and operational execution. His leadership helps ensure the consistent delivery of O2X’s world-class programs and educational offerings, supporting hundreds of events globally each year while advancing the organization’s mission to improve the health, safety, and performance of those who serve others.
Prior to joining O2X, Zack served 13 years in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, achieving the rank of Major. Throughout his military career, he held leadership positions within the 101st Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, and 10th Mountain Division, serving in roles that spanned operations, logistics, training, advising, and command leadership. Zack deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and concluded his Army career serving as both an Operations Officer and Executive Officer at the Battalion level, where he was responsible for the planning, resourcing, and synchronization of operations for an 800-soldier infantry battalion. Following years of combat and operational service, Zack medically retired from the Army in July 2022 due to career and combat-related injuries, an experience that further strengthened his passion for human performance, career longevity, and supporting the long-term well-being of tactical athletes. His operational experience and leadership background continue to shape the way he approaches training, education, and program delivery at O2X.
Zack earned his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College and later completed his master’s degree through the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He currently resides on the South Shore with his wife, Jen, and their daughter, Delaney. Outside of work, Zack values time with his family, staying active, and remaining engaged within his community. His dedication to leadership, service, and improving the lives of others continues to make him a respected leader within O2X and the broader tactical human performance community.

Ali Levy

Ali Levy
Ali Levy is the Vice President of Sales Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she brings more than a decade of experience in the human performance industry. In her role, Ali works cross-functionally to develop systems, processes, and strategies that allow the sales team to focus on revenue generation, client retention, and successful program implementation. As one of O2X’s founding team members, she has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth, internal operations, and long-term alignment with its mission and core values.
Throughout her time at O2X, Ali has held several leadership positions across the organization. As Director of Education, she collaborated with leading researchers and subject matter experts to build customized educational programs for clients and contributed to O2X’s published works, including co-authoring Human Performance for Tactical Athletes and contributing a chapter to Surviving the Fire Service. Prior to that, as Director of Operations, she oversaw the logistics and execution of O2X’s nationwide in-person training programs. Drawing from her background as a Mental Performance Specialist, Ali has also delivered sessions focused on resilience, goal setting, and performance psychology. Before joining O2X, Ali competed on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, where she became a two-time North American Cup Grand Prix Champion and competed internationally at the World Cup level.
After retiring from competitive skiing, Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Middlebury College, where she also competed in track and field, before completing her Master of Education in Sport Psychology and Counseling at Boston University. In 2015, she was inducted into the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Hall of Fame and Wall of Excellence in recognition of her athletic accomplishments. Outside of work, Ali continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges, including completing a 1,100-mile cycling trip and multiple 50-mile ultramarathons, while maintaining her lifelong passion for skiing and spending time outdoors.

Dan Hartig

Dan Hartig
Dan Hartig serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Digital Products at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the development and execution of the organization’s digital strategy and technology platforms. In his role, Dan oversees engineering, software architecture, and product development efforts that support O2X’s digital ecosystem, including tools and platforms designed to enhance performance, readiness, and long-term health for tactical athletes, first responders, and frontline professionals. Bringing a background in engineering, architecture, and technical leadership, Dan focuses on building scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions that align with the evolving needs of O2X clients and internal teams. His experience leading multidisciplinary teams and refining software development lifecycles has helped strengthen O2X’s ability to deliver high-quality digital products that support operational excellence and user engagement.
Dan’s professional background spans both military service and the private technology sector. He initially enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 following the events of 9/11 before being selected for an officer candidate program in 2004. Dan later graduated from the United States Naval Academy as a Trident Scholar with a degree in Computer Science in 2008 and went on to serve as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG-49) and USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). Following his military service, Dan transitioned into software engineering and technology leadership roles, beginning with work supporting the intelligence community at Zeta Technologies. He later held engineering and leadership positions with organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sezzle, and Best Buy, where he gained extensive experience implementing large-scale technology solutions across startup, enterprise, and national retail environments. His diverse technical and operational background continues to shape his leadership approach and vision for digital innovation at O2X.
Dan resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Darray, and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, serving his community, and pursuing his passion for cooking and barbecue. Known for smoking meats for large gatherings, holiday parties, and church events, Dan jokingly considers award-winning pit master to be his future retirement career. His enthusiasm for bringing people together through food reflects the same leadership, creativity, and team-oriented mindset that he brings to his work at O2X.

Meaghan Kirby

Meaghan Kirby
Meaghan Kirby serves as the Vice President of Education at O2X Human Performance, where she collaborates with leading researchers, subject matter experts, and internal teams to develop customized, integrated education programs for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In her role, Meaghan oversees educational strategy, organizational reporting, and data analysis initiatives designed to measure and communicate the impact of O2X’s programs and services. She leads the development of detailed reporting systems and client deliverables that demonstrate the effectiveness of O2X’s Integrated Specialist Programs, workshops, and educational events, helping agencies better understand performance outcomes, program engagement, and long-term impact.
Throughout her time at O2X, Meaghan has held multiple leadership positions across both the Education and Client Services departments. As the Education & Reporting Manager, she partnered closely with teams throughout the organization to build customized reporting frameworks and data-driven insights that highlighted the value and effectiveness of O2X programming. Prior to that role, she served as the Client Services Manager, where she helped lead educational content development, improve reporting systems, and strengthen client communication and support processes. Her work has been instrumental in enhancing the quality, consistency, and impact of O2X’s educational offerings while ensuring agencies receive professional, actionable, and meaningful program feedback. Meaghan’s passion for supporting tactical populations is deeply personal and rooted in her family’s long-standing connection to public service and first responder communities.
Meaghan earned both her Master of Education in Coaching and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boston University. While at Boston University, she competed as a distance swimmer on the BU Swimming and Diving Team and was also a USA Swimming Senior National Qualifier in distance freestyle and backstroke events. Her dedication to health, wellness, and performance continues outside of work, where she remains passionate about supporting first responders and tactical professionals. Meaghan’s family history includes multiple generations of public service, including a great-grandfather who served as a firefighter in Lowell, Massachusetts, a grandfather who was a Captain with the Massachusetts State Police, and a cousin currently serving as a police officer in Boxborough, Massachusetts. Her work with O2X allows her to combine her professional expertise with a meaningful commitment to supporting the health, resilience, and well-being of those who serve others.

Lorenzo Romolo

Lorenzo Romolo
Lorenzo Romolo is the Vice President of Human Performance Integration at O2X, where he created and developed the HPI department to ensure the seamless implementation of O2X programs within client organizations. In this role, he oversees client relationships, contracts, and national program delivery, with a focus on ensuring measurable impact across all sectors. He also leads oversight of On-Site Specialists, data analytics, impact tracking, and customer service, ensuring human performance initiatives are effectively integrated and consistently delivering results for O2X clients.
Lorenzo began his career with O2X as a Lead Instructor, where he leveraged his operational experience to deliver training and education events for first responders, federal agencies, and military personnel. He was later promoted to On-Site Specialist Program Manager, where he helped build and manage the deployment of human performance specialists, and then advanced to Director of Client Services, playing a key role in expanding O2X programs across military, law enforcement, fire service, and DOJ/DHS partnerships. His leadership was instrumental in establishing O2X as a trusted partner in human performance across these critical sectors.
Originally from Australia, Lorenzo retired from Special Operations Command Australia after a distinguished 15-year military career. As a Special Forces Operator, he deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and East Timor, working alongside U.S. Special Operations and other coalition forces. He also served in domestic counterterrorism roles and worked with Australia’s Joint Counter Terrorism and Tactical Police, as well as the FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT).

Crystal Vidas

Crystal Vidas
Crystal Vidas serves as the Vice President of People Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she leads the organization’s people strategy and oversees all human resources and administrative functions across the company. In her role, Crystal helps drive the systems, structure, and operational processes needed to support O2X’s continued growth while maintaining a high-performance, people-centered culture. Over the past 18 months, her role has continued to evolve alongside the organization, expanding beyond traditional HR leadership into broader operational strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, compliance, compensation strategy, and large-scale recruiting efforts across both headquarters and embedded tactical performance programs nationwide. She plays a key role in aligning people operations with company growth initiatives while helping leaders build scalable teams, improve internal processes, and maintain O2X’s mission-driven culture. Crystal also oversees recruitment, onboarding, and development efforts for many of the organization’s operational and leadership roles, helping attract and retain high-performing professionals across a wide range of disciplines.
Before joining O2X, Crystal spent six years with lululemon, where she led multiple stores throughout the Philadelphia region and ultimately supported the successful opening of a new store in Delaware. During her time with the company, she consistently exceeded sales and operational targets while building strong employee engagement and community relationships. Prior to transitioning into leadership and operations, Crystal spent the first decade of her career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, working across Oregon, Virginia, California, and Taiwan. One of her most impactful professional experiences was helping establish and lead a sports medicine program at Taipei American School, where she built a multidisciplinary support system designed to meet the unique needs of student-athletes. Her background in healthcare, athletics, leadership, and performance continues to shape her approach to people operations and organizational development at O2X.
Crystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Oregon State University and her Master of Science in Education through the Post Professional Athletic Training Education Program at Old Dominion University. Outside of work, she remains deeply involved in fitness, performance, and outdoor adventure. A longtime competitive CrossFit athlete, Crystal has competed at the regional level three times and has recently shifted her focus toward age-group CrossFit competition while also participating in events such as The Tactical Games and ultramarathon racing, including completing a 50-mile race in 2025. One of her most notable endurance accomplishments was completing an unsupported rim-to-rim-to-rim crossing of the Grand Canyon with her husband in 16.5 hours. Outside of training and competition, Crystal enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and creating new adventures with her husband and their three boys, ages 9, 5, and 2.

Brendan Stickles

Brendan Stickles
Brendan Stickles serves as the Vice President, Government at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees federal government accounts and supports the organization’s strategic growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. In his role, Brendan works closely with government leaders, agency stakeholders, and internal teams to develop partnerships and deliver human performance solutions that support readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Drawing on his extensive military and national security background, Brendan helps align O2X’s programs and services with the evolving needs of federal agencies and tactical populations.
Brendan joined O2X in September 2023 following his time as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he served at the White House as the Special Advisor for Defense to Vice Presidents Kamala Harris and Mike Pence, where he managed a broad portfolio that included national security, veterans’ issues, defense innovation, military readiness, and personnel policy. During his tenure on the National Security Council as Director for Defense, Brendan worked across multiple government agencies to support strategic defense initiatives and senior leadership decision-making. Before transitioning into government advisory roles, Brendan served more than two decades in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator and Commander. Over the course of his military career, he flew jets for more than 18 consecutive years and completed over 550 aircraft carrier landings. On his final operational deployment aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, he commanded an EA-18 squadron that earned back-to-back “Battle E” awards recognizing combat efficiency during Operation Inherent Resolve. Among his most memorable personal experiences as a pilot was performing the 2008 Major League Baseball Opening Day flyover for his favorite team, the New York Mets.
Originally from Glen Rock, New Jersey, Brendan graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in History before earning both an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. He currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and their three school-aged children. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time with family, staying connected to the military and veteran communities, and supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership, readiness, and service.

Cole Hatcher

Cole Hatcher
Cole Hatcher serves as an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he supports the development and management of human performance programs for local government and public safety organizations nationwide. In his role, Cole leverages his tactical background, leadership experience, and operational expertise to build strong client relationships, support program implementation, and ensure long-term client success and retention. He works closely with agencies to develop customized solutions that align with their operational demands and organizational goals, helping tactical professionals improve readiness, resilience, and overall performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Cole served as a Special Agent focused on investigations involving gang violence, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. Before transitioning into federal law enforcement, he spent four years on active duty in the United States Army as a Sergeant with F Company, 51st Long Range Surveillance Company, where he served as part of a military freefall team. Throughout his military career, Cole trained soldiers in surveillance operations, reconnaissance tactics, and physical fitness while also fostering partnerships with allied military forces. He completed several advanced military schools and certifications, including the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC), Pathfinder School, and the Military Freefall Parachutist Course (MFFPC). His combined military and federal law enforcement experience continues to shape his passion for supporting tactical professionals through performance-focused programs and leadership development.
Cole earned his degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona and has also worked in accounting and finance roles throughout his professional career. Originally from Arizona, he maintains a strong connection to the outdoors and enjoys spending his free time traveling, hiking, visiting the beach, and competing in trail races and local CrossFit competitions. His passion for adventure, fitness, and continuous growth reflects the same mindset he brings to his work supporting public safety and tactical organizations through O2X.

Brian Christianson

Brian Christianson
Brian Christianson is an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance and a 16-year U.S. Army veteran. In this role, he combines his passion for improving performance and longevity with over a decade of experience building comprehensive human performance programs. Prior to moving into leadership, Brian served as a Lead Instructor at O2X, where he worked directly with tactical athletes to implement training and education that elevated resilience, readiness, and long-term health.
Brian’s military career began in 1999 as a Combat Engineer, completing two deployments to Kosovo, one to Iraq, and one to Afghanistan before transitioning into Civil Affairs. Throughout his career, he held roles including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Team Sergeant, and Joint Plans and Operations NCO. He deployed alongside elite units such as Army Rangers and Navy SEALs and later trained future warfighters as a hand-to-hand combat and advanced weapons/tactics instructor. Following his service, Brian continued to support tactical readiness by opening a CrossFit affiliate, earning both a bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University and a master’s degree in Exercise Science & Wellness: Fitness and Performance from Liberty University. His experience also includes standing up the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at both Fort Bliss, TX, and Fort Sill, OK, where he served as the Human Performance Program Director.
Outside of work, Brian is an avid outdoorsman and competitor. He enjoys competitive shooting, golf, hunting, and sports, and values time spent in the outdoors with his family. Whether on the range, on the course, or simply outside with his loved ones, Brian continues to embody the same commitment to discipline, growth, and resilience that has defined both his military and civilian career.

Ryan Solley

Ryan Solley
Ryan Solley is the Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X, supporting municipal agencies in building readiness, resilience, and long‑term human performance. He spent over a decade in the U.S. Army, with the majority of that time serving in Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. Throughout his career, he completed multiple deployments and held leadership roles centered on team development, training, and operational performance.
After transitioning from the military, Ryan spent two years with the National Guard Human Performance and Wellness Program, where he helped stand up and lead their Strength and Conditioning Program. He later earned a master’s degree in Human Performance and has since applied his operational and academic background to coaching, leadership development, and performance optimization across tactical and civilian populations.
Ryan lives in Florida with his wife and two children, staying active through outdoor adventures, travel, and community involvement.

Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly
Rob Kelly is an Assistant Vice President at O2X Human Performance, where he specializes in building strategic partnerships and supporting clients’ unique operational needs. Leveraging his extensive military background and deep understanding of Department of Defense operations, along with corporate industry experience, Rob implements performance programs tailored to the demands of military and federal agencies, municipal departments, and private-sector organizations. His work focuses on delivering innovative solutions that enhance warfighter readiness, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable success for the teams he serves.
Rob served 11 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing multiple overseas deployments aboard operational warships. Throughout his service, he held key leadership roles including Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Boarding Officer, Damage Control Assistant, Weapons Officer, and Combat Systems Officer, while also leading ship navigation operations worldwide. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and later earned a Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Originally from Coronado, California, Rob developed a passion for surfing and lacrosse and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He now resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife and three children and enjoys surfing, training Jiu-Jitsu, and creating memorable experiences with his family.

Jordan Smith is an Assistant Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X, where he draws on his leadership experience and operational background to deliver tailored human performance solutions to federal clients. In his role, he builds and maintains relationships with government agencies and implements performance solutions that improve resilience, strengthen readiness, and drive mission success.
Prior to joining O2X, Jordan attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played defensive end for the Army Football Team and graduated in 2017 before commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer. Over his eight years of Army service, he held a variety of leadership roles, including Platoon Leader, Fire Support Officer, and Battery Executive Officer with the 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, as well as Battery Commander with the 434th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He concluded his military career as a Team Leader with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Hawaii, where he led global recovery missions throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, and China in search of U.S. service members who remain unaccounted for from past wars and conflicts.
Originally from Oceanside, California, Jordan and his wife are raising their two children in their hometown community. Passionate about fitness and the outdoors, he enjoys strength training, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Rachel Miller

Rachel Miller is the Assistant Vice President, Operations at O2X. In this capacity, she manages the staffing, planning, travel, and execution of O2X’s programs throughout the year. Rachel oversees a network of over 250 O2X subject matter experts and instructors, ensuring seamless operations for each event. She is committed to building strong relationships, growing the O2X family network, and fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for current staff, creating a culture of support and collaboration.
Before joining O2X, Rachel worked in the Events and Experiences team at Fenway Sports Management, the sports marketing agency of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group. In her role, she managed fan travel experiences, corporate events, and brand activations for several FSG entities and partners, including the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, Liverpool F.C., Jim Beam, Dunkin’, and the Red Sox Foundation. Her diverse experience in sports marketing and event management gave her a strong foundation in large-scale event coordination. Rachel also holds a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a sports focus from Boston University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Journalism.Rachel was a standout member of the Women’s Soccer team at Boston University, where she was a two-time captain, two-time All-Patriot League selection, and three-time Patriot League Champion. Her dedication to sports extended beyond her college career, as she traveled to Uganda with Coaches Across Continents to promote the power of sport for social impact. After her soccer career, Rachel ran the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Boston Bruins Foundation, igniting her passion for running and endurance training. Born and raised in South Shore, MA, Rachel is a member of the East Bridgewater High School Athletics Hall of Fame for her achievements in soccer and track and field.

Crystal Schurko serves as a Senior Front End Engineer at O2X Human Performance, where she focuses on web and mobile application development, building intuitive user experiences and implementing new features that enhance the functionality and accessibility of O2X’s digital platforms. In her role, Crystal works closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create seamless user-centered solutions that support tactical athletes, coaches, and organizational leaders. Drawing on her strong operational background, she also plays an important role in refining agile development processes and improving collaboration across teams to support efficient product delivery and continuous platform improvement.
Prior to joining O2X, Crystal held software engineering leadership roles across the healthcare, publishing, and technology industries. She served as a Lead Software Engineer at Florida Blue and Banyan Hill Publishing, where she led development efforts focused on scalable web applications and user-focused digital experiences. Earlier in her career, she worked in client-facing software development roles at MercuryWorks and gained experience in embedded systems engineering with Magic Leap. Throughout her career, Crystal has built expertise in frontend engineering, agile methodologies, and product-driven development, allowing her to effectively bridge technical execution with business and user needs. She also maintains a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development, earning certifications across areas including full-stack web development, embedded systems, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, while also participating in and winning multiple hackathons.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading, research, and design, and is constantly exploring new technologies and creative outlets to expand her knowledge and skills. She lives in South Florida with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys balancing her passion for technology with family life and personal growth.

With a foundation in business and a passion for technology, Daniel brings a strategic mindset to mobile engineering, creating seamless and intuitive user experiences that meet real-world needs.
Prior to joining O2X, Daniel played key roles at companies such as Reggora, Dragon Army, and TrueNorth, where he contributed to the design and deployment of impactful mobile solutions across diverse sectors. His strengths lie in solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and fostering strong collaboration across teams. Daniel made the leap into tech in his late twenties and has since carved out a path defined by growth, curiosity, and a relentless drive to improve. His work reflects a deep commitment to learning and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile development.
Outside of engineering, Daniel is a dedicated enthusiast of combat sports and soccer, and enjoys any challenge that pushes him to grow, both personally and professionally.

He blends product leadership with real-world operational insight to create tools that are intuitive, resilient, and mission-ready. Jeremy works cross-functionally with internal teams and end users to ensure O2X’s digital solutions enhance readiness, performance, and long-term well-being across the tactical community.
Before joining O2X, Jeremy built a career at the intersection of public safety, technology, and human performance. He previously shaped product direction for Active911’s nationwide emergency alerting platform, designing tools used in high-stress, time-critical environments. His perspective as both a product leader and an end user is grounded in more than 25 years of fire service experience spanning operations, training, and readiness development. In addition to his service background, Jeremy is a longtime fitness entrepreneur who has owned and operated two CrossFit gyms—including one in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—where he coached athletes and developed programming tailored to elite performance and tactical demands.
Jeremy’s approach is rooted in a lifelong commitment to learning, human performance, and community. He and his wife, Kari, live in Oregon with their dog, Murph, where they stay connected to the outdoors and an active lifestyle that fuels their passion for health and performance. Outside of his work at O2X, Jeremy continues to pursue education, coaching, and personal development initiatives that strengthen his ability to serve the tactical population.

Joey Lee

Joey Lee
Joey Lee is a full-stack software/product engineer at O2X, where he leads the technical design and development of the O2X Coach's Portal web application. While splitting his time among mobile, back-end, and front-end feature work, Joey specializes in collaborating with product and design to shape and launch user-focused solutions end-to-end.
Prior to O2X, Joey held mid- through staff-level software engineering positions at organizations including Amazon, Florida Blue, and several fast-growing venture-backed startups from seed through Series D stage. These experiences gave him a broad perspective on designing, building, and scaling software products across diverse environments and team structures.
Joey studied computer science from high school through college and completed a Software Engineering Immersive at Hack Reactor. Outside of work, he has wide range of hobbies and interests — from Socratic philosophy, psychology, and mindfulness meditation to classical piano and jazz improvisation to barbell training to web novels. He lives with his wife and kids in St. Johns, Florida.

Ashley Roberts

Ashley Roberts is the Manager of Recruiting and Talent at O2X, where she plays a key role in supporting the People Operations team. Her primary responsibility is attracting top-tier talent to O2X and guiding candidates through an efficient and engaging interview and onboarding process. In addition to talent acquisition, she also supports employee engagement and development across departments, helping to build and sustain a high-performing, mission-driven team as the organization continues to grow.
With over eight years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Ashley has worked across a wide range of environments, including secondary schools, collegiate athletics, military settings, and industrial performance roles. Her passion for serving military personnel and veterans is deeply personal, as she is the spouse of a Marine veteran. This connection fuels her commitment to the mission and strengthens her dedication to supporting those who serve. Prior to her current role, she contributed to hiring and onboarding athletic trainers and worked as an industrial athletic trainer, further expanding her expertise across multiple sectors.
Ashley holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Oklahoma, providing a strong clinical foundation for her work in both human performance and talent strategy. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through fitness, outdoor adventures such as boating, and spending time with her family, including her daughter and two beloved pit bulls. Her energy, work ethic, and commitment to others make her a valued member of both O2X and the broader community.

Joe McCullough

Joe McCullough
Joe McCullough serves as the Manager of Marketing at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing initiatives and brand strategy. In his role, Joe manages a wide range of content and communication efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, public relations, the O2X Human Performance Podcast, and the company’s blog and digital storytelling initiatives. His work plays an important role in advancing O2X’s mission, educating audiences on the value of human performance, and strengthening engagement across tactical, military, public safety, and high-performance communities. Through both strategic planning and creative execution, Joe helps communicate the impact of O2X’s programs, people, and mission nationwide.
Before joining O2X, Joe attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy after receiving a conditional appointment and completing a preparatory program at the New Mexico Military Institute. While at Kings Point, he was involved in leadership and extracurricular initiatives, serving as a 3/C Petty Officer to the Regimental Commander, sailing as a cadet aboard the S.S. Horizon Pacific, and helping found the Kings Point Endurance Club. In June 2016, Joe sustained a cervical spinal cord injury that initially left him quadriplegic. Following months of intensive rehabilitation and therapy, he regained significant function and independence through relentless determination, resilience, and adaptability. His experiences overcoming adversity continue to shape both his personal perspective and professional approach. Joe’s background in the Maritime Logistics and Security Program, combined with the leadership and problem-solving skills developed during his recovery journey, laid the foundation for his career growth at O2X. Since joining the organization, he has held multiple roles including Operations Coordinator and Experience Coordinator before transitioning into his current position leading marketing initiatives.
Outside of work, Joe remains passionate about personal growth, resilience, and inspiring others through his journey of recovery and perseverance. His experiences have given him a unique perspective on adaptability, mental toughness, and the importance of community support. Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams
Daniel Williams serves as the Manager of Integrated Programs for O2X Human Performance on the West Coast, where he supports the implementation, oversight, and continued development of integrated human performance programs for tactical populations. After beginning his career with O2X as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength & Conditioning, Daniel has continued to expand his leadership responsibilities while supporting embedded specialists and operational programs across multiple client sites. In his role, he works closely with tactical organizations and O2X personnel to ensure programs are effectively aligned with mission demands, operational readiness goals, and long-term performance outcomes for the populations they serve.
With more than 12 years of experience in the human performance field, Daniel has dedicated much of his career to supporting tactical athletes and Special Operations communities. Since 2015, he has worked directly within the special operations environment as a Human Performance Specialist, helping operators improve strength, durability, resilience, and overall operational readiness. Daniel began his work in the tactical space with Air Force Special Operations Command, supporting the 24th Special Operations Wing and the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). Following his time with STTS, he transitioned to Naval Special Warfare Group 1, where he spent more than four years working alongside Navy SEALs and supporting human performance initiatives focused on optimizing performance and reducing injury risk within elite operational units. His extensive experience embedded within high-performance tactical environments continues to shape his practical and mission-focused approach to coaching and leadership.
Daniel remains deeply passionate about helping tactical professionals achieve sustainable, long-term performance success both physically and mentally. His hands-on experience within elite military communities, combined with his leadership within O2X’s Integrated Programs, has made him a trusted resource for both specialists and tactical organizations alike. Through his work, Daniel continues to support O2X’s mission of improving the health, readiness, and resilience of those operating in demanding environments.

Mark Christiani

Mark Christiani
Mark Christiani serves as the East Coast Human Performance Integration (HPI) Manager for O2X Human Performance, where he supports, develops, and mentors On-Site Specialists across multiple contracts and locations. In this role, Mark helps integrate comprehensive human performance programs focused on strength and conditioning, injury prevention, recovery, and long-term readiness for tactical and industrial populations. He works closely with both leadership teams and embedded specialists to ensure programs are operationally effective, sustainable, and aligned with client mission requirements.
Prior to stepping into his current leadership role, Mark worked as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist supporting the United States Army Reserve 81st Readiness Division, where he delivered strength and conditioning support designed to improve Soldier readiness, physical performance, and resilience while reducing injury risk. Before joining O2X, Mark served as the Brigade Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 44th Medical Brigade at Fort Bragg, where he led the development and implementation of large-scale performance initiatives across multiple battalions and installations. During his time in the H2F program, he helped build Brigade-level strength and conditioning systems, oversaw new soldier performance initiatives, supported the distribution and integration of wearable technology, and contributed to data collection and performance analysis efforts. Earlier in his career, Mark worked in collegiate strength and conditioning at Savannah State University and the University of South Carolina, primarily supporting football and track and field athletes. His introduction to tactical strength and conditioning began during his time serving in the U.S. Army with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment while preparing for Ranger School.
Mark brings more than a decade of experience in tactical and collegiate human performance and remains passionate about continuous growth as both a coach and leader. He earned his Master of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia Southern University and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University. Mark is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Outside of work, he enjoys competing in and coaching powerlifting, spending time at the beach, and continuing to refine his cooking skills.

Dave Burke

Dave Burke
Dave Burke serves as the Operations Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key role within the Operations department supporting the execution of O2X’s nationwide programs, events, and embedded specialist initiatives. In his role, Dave manages logistics and operational coordination for workshops, training events, and on-site programs, helping ensure that O2X personnel and equipment are fully prepared to support clients across the country. His responsibilities include organizing and overseeing shipping operations, maintaining equipment readiness, and supporting the systems and processes that allow O2X programs to operate efficiently at scale. As the organization continues to grow, Dave remains heavily involved in improving operational workflows, identifying creative solutions, and strengthening the consistency and professionalism of the O2X experience.
Prior to joining O2X, Dave worked as a manager at a local beach in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where he collaborated closely with first responders, emergency management personnel, and local fire and police departments. During this time, he developed and implemented safety procedures, coordinated operational planning efforts, and introduced fitness initiatives designed to improve team readiness and performance in a dynamic public safety environment. His experience managing operations and leading teams in high-responsibility settings helped build the leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills he now applies in his role at O2X. Dave’s passion for teamwork, preparedness, and operational excellence continues to drive his contributions to the organization and its mission.
Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship in May 2022 and is currently pursuing his MBA at Lasell University. While attending Lasell, he was a two-time captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, leading the program to a Greater Northeast Athletic Conference Championship while earning multi-year all-conference recognition and finalist honors for Defensive Player of the Year as a Short Stick Defensive Midfielder (SSDM). Raised on the Massachusetts South Shore, Dave remains passionate about competition, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, surfing, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors with his three dogs.

Joshua Stuart Shor

Josh Stuart-Shor is a Manager of Integrated Programs and Workshop Lead for O2X, where he leads the delivery and execution of human performance programs for tactical athletes and client organizations. In this role, Josh drives program effectiveness through strategic engagement, on-site leadership, and close partnership with clients to ensure high-impact implementation and sustained results. As a trained mediator and facilitator, he brings a deliberate, people-centered approach to strengthening organizational culture, improving communication, and enhancing overall team performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Josh served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division before earning his Green Beret and going on to serve in the 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, NC. During his military career, he led and operated in complex environments across multiple combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central Asia, earning numerous awards and decorations for his service. From 2015 to 2016, Josh participated in the Army’s Tactical Human Optimization Rapid Rehabilitation & Reconditioning Program (THOR3) while recovering from combat-related injuries—an experience that shaped his long-term commitment to human performance, resilience, and recovery.
Following nearly a decade of service, Josh transitioned from the military to continue his leadership in high-performance environments. In addition to his work with O2X, he serves as a Lieutenant in a major metropolitan fire department, where he leads teams in dynamic, high-stakes situations. Josh holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Massachusetts Boston and applies that expertise to lead, develop, and support individuals and organizations in achieving sustainable performance outcomes.
He resides in Boston, MA, with his wife, Jessica, their four children—Camden, Abigail, Harrison, and Anne—and their dog, Buck. Outside of work, Josh and his family enjoy skiing, hiking, and fly-fishing in the mountains of Vermont

Alyssa Cafarelli

Alyssa Cafarelli
Alyssa Cafarelli serves as the Content & Education Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where she works cross-functionally with multiple departments to support the development and delivery of high-impact educational resources, marketing materials, client reports, and digital content. In her role, Alyssa helps ensure that O2X’s educational and communication materials effectively support tactical athletes, first responders, and high-performance organizations by delivering clear, engaging, and mission-focused content. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail play an important role in helping O2X maintain consistent, professional, and impactful resources across both internal and client-facing initiatives.
Prior to joining O2X, Alyssa worked as a preschool teacher for six years, where she developed a strong passion for education, communication, and helping others learn and grow. Her experience in the classroom strengthened her creativity, organization, and ability to connect with diverse audiences — skills that continue to support her work within O2X’s Education and Content teams. Alyssa also comes from a family deeply connected to the tactical community, which has fueled her personal connection to O2X’s mission of supporting those who serve others. Her combined background in education, communication, and content development has helped her become a valuable contributor to the organization’s efforts to educate and support tactical populations nationwide.
Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media from Plymouth State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Communications National Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta. During her time at Plymouth State, she further developed her passion for health, wellness, and digital media while creating content for the university’s recreation department. Outside of work, Alyssa remains passionate about supporting the tactical community and continues to find inspiration in the dedication and service of first responders, military personnel, and those who protect and serve their communities.

Brooke Williams

Brooke Williams
Brooke Williams is the Inside Sales Representative at O2X, where she plays a crucial role in supporting O2X’s Human Performance Business Development.
Before joining O2X, Brooke worked with enterprise organizations in SaaS sales, where she focused on implementing scalable solutions and streamlining content experiences for clients. Her background in business and technology helped her develop a keen understanding of operations and project management. Additionally, Brooke’s entrepreneurial studies at Bryant University sparked a deep passion for health and wellness, which led her to earn certifications in Nutrition and Personal Training, complementing her work in business. Brooke graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. While at Bryant, she co-captained the university’s first Women’s Club Lacrosse team during its inaugural season, showcasing her leadership skills and love for competitive sports. Elmer Diaz serves as the Creative Content Specialist at O2X Human Performance, where he produces high-quality visual and digital media content that supports the company’s mission and brand initiatives. In his role, Elmer develops engaging storytelling content across a variety of platforms, helping showcase the impact of O2X’s programs, people, and partnerships within tactical, military, public safety, and high-performance communities. His work includes capturing and producing photo and video content, supporting marketing campaigns, and creating visual assets that communicate the organization’s commitment to health, resilience, and performance. Through creative storytelling and strategic content development, Elmer helps strengthen O2X’s ability to connect with diverse audiences nationwide.
With more than five years of experience in media production and creative content development, Elmer has built a diverse professional portfolio spanning multiple industries and brands. Prior to joining O2X, he served as the Media Director at SoldierfitHQ, where he led multimedia production efforts and managed a wide range of visual storytelling projects. In addition to his full-time roles, Elmer has collaborated on freelance projects with nationally recognized organizations and brands including CBS Sports and lululemon, further expanding his expertise in video production, creative direction, and digital media strategy. His ability to combine technical production skills with authentic storytelling continues to play a valuable role in elevating O2X’s content and brand presence.
Elmer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Hood College, where he developed a strong foundation in storytelling, media production, and visual communication. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring visual arts, watching films, and spending quality time with his family. Hugh Hamill

Hugh Hamill
Hugh Hamill is the Logistics Coordinator at O2X, where he is an integral member of the operations team. In this role, Hugh is responsible for managing the logistics and operational requirements for O2X Human Performance events and On-Site Specialists. He oversees the coordination, organization, packaging, and shipment of materials to various events across the country, ensuring everything is delivered on time and in perfect condition. Additionally, Hugh helps manage inventory and logistical needs at O2X’s headquarters, playing a key role in maintaining efficient operations.
Before joining O2X, Hugh gained valuable experience as a supervisor within the Intramural Athletic Board at Providence College, where he developed his passion for sports, health, and physical well-being. This role allowed him to gain leadership experience and further his interest in the logistics of athletic events. Hugh also worked as a marketing intern at a local bank on the South Shore of Massachusetts, where he honed his skills in communication and organizational support, contributing to his broad experience in both operations and marketing. Hugh graduated from Providence College in May 2023 with a major in marketing and a minor in sociology.
Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Hugh was an avid sports fan and played multiple varsity sports during his time at Marshfield High School. Outside of work, Hugh enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, and staying active outdoors. His love for sports and fitness continues to drive his personal and professional endeavors.

Ashley Tropea-Migrants is an Education & Curriculum Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, based in Massachusetts. In this role, she designs and implements educational programs that help tactical professionals enhance their performance, resilience, and recovery. Drawing on her background in human performance, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal care, Ashley specializes in translating complex medical and performance concepts into practical, engaging content that can be applied across a range of industries and audiences.
Before moving into curriculum development, Ashley served as an on-site Human Performance Specialist at O2X, where she worked directly with industrial athletes to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. Outside of O2X, she holds licensure and national certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She served as the sole Athletic Trainer at a high school for five years, during which she simultaneously worked in a hospital-based orthopedic and sports medicine clinic, splitting her time across both settings for four of those years. She later transitioned into a private orthopedic surgical clinic operating as the designated orthopedic department for a regional hospital, where she worked alongside surgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists across multiple specialties, gaining experience in musculoskeletal care, patient education, casting and bracing, durable medical equipment application, and movement screening.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University in 2015. Born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she enjoys hiking with her dog, running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Kayla Stoneback

McKayla Stoneback serves as the Staffing and Travel Coordinator for O2X Human Performance, where she oversees staffing logistics and coordinates travel operations for company workshops, events, and nationwide engagements. In her role, McKayla works closely with internal teams, specialists, and partners to ensure efficient scheduling, travel coordination, and operational support across O2X programming. Drawing from her extensive background in tactical human performance and field operations, she brings a unique perspective to supporting both the people and logistical systems that drive successful program execution.
McKayla was O2X’s first embedded On-Site Specialist, joining the company in 2019 in support of Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services in Frederick, Maryland. Over the course of her career, she has spent more than nine years working within the tactical population, specializing in movement screenings, prehabilitation programming, tactical strength and conditioning, and comprehensive health and wellness initiatives for career fire departments. Prior to transitioning into her current role with O2X HQ, McKayla worked directly with tactical athletes to improve readiness, durability, and long-term performance outcomes. Her background in human performance began on the athletic side, where she worked with athletes of varying ages and competitive levels before expanding her focus into the tactical field. While completing her graduate education, McKayla conducted research focused on the relationship between the physical demands of firefighting and the fitness qualities required for operational performance, with her work ultimately being published.
McKayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition before completing her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Outdoor Recreation: Sports Performance & Conditioning from Southern Utah University. In addition to her academic background, she is a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Athleticism Coach. Outside of work, McKayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active alongside her husband, who serves as a career firefighter with the Saint Paul Fire Department. Together with their two young children, they enjoy activities including fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, and fitness.

Tyler Jewell
Tyler is an O2X Strength & Conditioning Specialist. As a prior US Olympian, he competed in snowboarding in the Torino and Vancouver Winter Games. He is a mental performance coach with over 10 years of experience, including from the Naval Tactical Athlete Program. Tyler was a varsity lacrosse player at Boston College.

Adam DeMarais

Adam DeMarais
Adam DeMarais is an O2X Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Adam has been a strength and conditioning coach since 2008 and has had the pleasure of working with tactical populations, athletes, and the general population. He received his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, where he majored in Biology and minored in Sports Medicine. This combination of fields provided Adam with a unique perspective on the intersection between science and human performance. He also received his Master’s degree from Concordia University Chicago where he studied Exercise Science with a concentration on human movement.

Matthew Zanis

Matthew Zanis
Dr. Matthew Zanis, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, OCS, ATC, CSCS, is an O2X Strength & Conditioning Specialist and owner of Rooted in MVMNT, a human movement and vitality company. Dr. Zanis obtained his bachelor’s in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. He is a strength and conditioning coach, orthopedic specialist, and fellowship trained in manual therapy. Dr. Zanis works with a broad demographic from Olympians, including the athletes of USA Shooting, to Naval Special Warfare and everyone in between. His vision is to create an awareness of new ways of working with the human body in rehabilitation, performance, and coaching circles, and bring that alive for strength and conditioning and rehabilitation professionals alike through a philosophy that is rooted in movement.

John Sim

John Sim
John Sim is an O2X Strength & Conditioning Specialist. He is also currently working dual roles for the U.S. Secret Service as a Physical Skills Instructor and a Firearms Instructor. He previously served as the Program Manager for Physical Performance at the Office of the Army Surgeon General (OTSG). Prior to working at OTSG, John served as the Human Performance Advisor for a US Army Special Operations unit based in the National Capital Region. Throughout his career John has worked with a diverse array of clientele that includes tactical, collegiate, and professional populations.
John’s strength & conditioning coaching experience includes stops at Georgetown University, Fordham University, Binghamton University, EXOS Headquarters, and Grand Canyon University – where he was hired as the school’s first Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Upon completing his commitment at GCU, John was hired by the Army to help develop the first Strength & Conditioning program at US Army Garrison - Yongsan in Seoul, Korea. For the next several years, John continued to make a positive impact in the peninsula by leading various health and fitness programs for both the Army and the Air Force. He was eventually hired to stand up the first Army Wellness Center (AWC) in the country and finished his overseas tenure by serving as the inaugural AWC Director at Camp Humphreys.
John is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F), and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). He is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP), and is also certified through NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). John’s education includes a BA in Psychology, an MBA, and MS in Health & Human Performance. During his spare time, John enjoys training in Brazilian Jiujitsu along with his wife and two children.

Greg Amorelli is a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Tactical Performance Coach with over 20 years of experience in exercise science, human performance, and coaching. A Master’s graduate in Exercise Science and Health Promotions, with an emphasis on Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and currently working on his Doctoral degree, Coach Greg has a unique blend of academic expertise and practical experience, having worked with athletes, first responders, and tactical professionals. His coaching career spans diverse roles, from coaching youth sports teams to preparing individuals for the rigorous demands of military Special Operations selection. With 16 years of military service, including 6 years in Naval Special Operations and 9 years in the Army infantry, Coach Greg has firsthand experience in the physical and mental challenges faced by tactical athletes. Currently serving as a Civil Affairs Officer in the Army Reserves, he continues to apply his tactical knowledge as a Tactical Specialist for the NSCA Oregon Board of Advisors and an Teaching Assistant for PennWest University’s Tactical Strength and Conditioning Program. Passionate about optimizing human performance, Coach Greg has led initiatives such as developing the Health and Wellness Program for the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, supporting over 320 deputies and staff. His mission is to help individuals achieve their highest potential through evidence-based training, education, and holistic wellness strategies.

Kenny Esquivel

Kenny Esquivel is a Human Performance Specialist at O2X, bringing nearly two decades of elite-level experience in Strength & Conditioning across professional, collegiate, and tactical environments. Currently serving as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, Kenny leads a comprehensive K-12 performance program rooted in evidence-based practices, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. Kenny’s career is defined by his ability to optimize human potential in high-stakes environments. He previously served as a Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Diego Padres, where he directed performance and injury mitigation strategies for MLB athletes. His deep expertise in the tactical sector was forged through years of leadership within the Special Operations community, including roles as the Director of Human Performance for Air Force Special Warfare (25th ASOS) and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Naval Special Warfare Group Three. In these roles, he was an early adopter of integrated Tactical Athlete Management Systems and established dedicated performance centers to ensure operators remained mission-ready. A veteran in the field, Kenny’s background also includes tenures at the University of Notre Dame, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and UCLA. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction (CSCS*D) through the NSCA, a credential he has maintained since 2008. Kenny is passionate about bridging the gap between elite performance science and the unique complexities of dynamic careers. Alyssa Olsen

Alyssa Olsen
Alyssa Olsen is an O2X Yoga Specialist who teaches Vinyasa and Restorative based yoga classes. Alyssa completed her 200 RYT training in 2020 and began actively teaching her patients adaptive yoga as a part of the Adaptive Sports Program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), with the intention of helping these individuals find connection and ease with moving, breathing, and down regulating their bodies. Alyssa brings a comprehensive background in exercise physiology and movement modification to her yoga practice. Alyssa worked as a PTA from 2013-2021 at Walter Reed’s Military Advanced Training Center (MATC); one of three outpatient trauma arcs in the country providing physical therapy to combat injured service members. She presently lives in San Diego where she actively teaches yoga in both the San Diego (in person) & Washington DC (virtual) communities. It is Alyssa’s passion to help any individual connect deeper with their bodies.

Susann Dreiling

Susann Dreiling
Susann “Susie” Dreiling is an O2X Yoga and iRest Specialist and a 23-year federal law enforcement veteran who retired as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2020. During her investigative career, she worked high-profile violent crime and white-collar criminal cases. Early in her career, she earned the designation of Advanced Instructor and went on to teach the Instructional Systems Design process, certifying numerous personnel from state, local, and international law enforcement agencies, often serving as Lead Instructor.
Susie held multiple instructor designations, including FBI General Police Instructor, Advanced Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Physical Fitness Advisor, and Active Shooter for Civilians Instructor. She later served as both a Supervisory Special Agent and GS-15 Unit Chief, overseeing the FBI’s Physical Training Unit (PTU) at the FBI Academy for six years. In this role, she managed enterprise-wide responsibility for the FBI’s physical fitness, defensive tactics, and less-lethal programs, where she began her yoga instructor journey.
While leading PTU, Susie completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program to better support students and employees experiencing chronic fatigue and repetitive injuries. After returning to investigative duties in Clearwater, Florida, she earned her 500-hour yoga teacher designation. She is certified as a Relax and Renew Level 1 Instructor (Judith Hanson Lasater), iRest Level 2, and Certified Warriors at Ease Teacher (Level 2), and is currently pursuing her 1000-hour yoga instructor certification.
Holding the E-RYT 500 designation and serving as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), Susie continues to teach studio classes and contribute to yoga teacher training programs under the 1811 Yoga company designation. In October 2025, Susie and 1811 Yoga were featured in Voyage Tampa’s “Change Makers That Inspire” section.
In 2022, she also co-founded Comprehensive Defensive Systems LLC, a Florida-based company specializing in firearms training, personal safety and self-defense, threat assessments, and active shooter training for civilians and houses of worship. Brittany Petty, MSW, LICSW, E-RYT 500, YACEP, is an O2X Yoga & Resilience Specialist who brings an integrative, mind-body approach to performance, recovery, and mental health. She is the founder of Embodied Wellness, PLLC, a private practice based in Central Massachusetts, where she works with individuals, couples, and families both in person and via telehealth across the state.
Brittany has been teaching yoga since 2012 and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). She leads yoga teacher trainings and professional development experiences, supporting other instructors in cultivating authentic, intuitive, and impactful teaching styles. Her approach to yoga is dynamic and intentional, blending vinyasa, somatic awareness, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to help individuals build resilience and deepen connection to their bodies.
She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston University and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Brittany integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic and relational approaches, and mindfulness-based practices into her clinical work. Her areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief, and high-performance stress, with a strong emphasis on the connection between physiological regulation and psychological well-being.
Prior to opening her private practice, Brittany worked as a school counselor and in outpatient and milieu treatment settings, supporting clients across the lifespan. She has also worked with professionals in high-demand environments, including the tech industry, helping individuals develop sustainable strategies for stress management and performance.
Through her work with O2X, Brittany delivers practical, experiential training in yoga, breathwork, and resilience, equipping individuals and teams with tools to manage stress, optimize recovery, and enhance overall performance.
Outside of her professional work, Brittany is deeply connected to her community. She is a founding board member of the 365Z Commitment to Kindness Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting intentional acts of kindness and supporting local schools, families, veterans, and older adults throughout Central Massachusetts. She lives with her husband, a Marine OIF Veteran and Lieutenant in the Worcester Fire Department, and their two children.

Annie Okerlin

Annie Okerlin (C-iRest, C-IAYT) is an O2X Yoga Specialist who presents yoga, sleep, resiliency & iRest Yoga Nidra to tactical athletes & first responders nationwide.Annie has been a yoga teacher since 1999. The daughter of two World War II and Korean War veterans, Annie has a deep appreciation for the veterans of our country. Her passion for helping the wounded warriors of today’s wars led her to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2006 where she has worked with the traumatically injured, including amputees, burn victims, those with orthopedic poly-trauma, traumatic brain injuries, spinal-cord injuries, as well as unseen injuries such as PTSD and moral injury. Annie founded Yogani in Tampa and was the owner of this successful yoga studio for over 18 years. As one of the nation’s leading experts on Adaptive Yoga, Annie teaches nationally and internationally with The Exalted Warrior Foundation, a non-profit organization she founded in 2010 to support wounded warriors with the seen & unseen issues of traumatic injury. In addition to her extensive yoga training and experience, Annie is a Certified iRest® teacher & has also authored the book Exalted Warrior Practice Guide: Yoga & Meditation practices for Strength, Comfort & Ease.

Janel Norton

Janel Norton
Janel Norton is an O2X Yoga Instructor, U.S. Air Force Veteran, and passionate advocate for yoga and wellness in tactical and veteran communities. Having served as a combat photojournalist in the Air Force, she later worked as a press information officer and photojournalist for the United Nations, covering crises in Panama, Bosnia, and Liberia. After 20 years in the photography industry, Janel transitioned into wellness, earning her master’s degree from the University of South Florida and discovering yoga as a powerful tool for maintaining balance in her life.
Janel’s passion for yoga quickly evolved into a career shift. After completing her 500-hour yoga teacher training, she owned a yoga studio in the Tampa Bay area and now runs Alternative Stress Solutions in Tennessee. Her desire to give back to the veteran community led her to co-found the Warrior Wellness Program, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to offering alternative therapies to military veterans navigating the transition to civilian life.
As a certified iRest Yoga Nidra instructor and a specialist in trauma-informed yoga, Janel now travels nationwide, offering adaptive yoga and iRest to first responders and veterans through partnerships with organizations like O2X Human Performance, the VA Summer Sports Clinics, the Wounded Warrior Foundation, and more.

Lauren D’Angelo is an O2X Yoga Specialist. Lauren found her way into her first yoga class after years of playing sports, participating in triathlons, and running marathons. From the first class, she was hooked and knew instantly that she wanted to be a yoga instructor. Lauren’s classes are an active, powerful, movement-based vinyasa, and they are crafted and created to be accessible for all. She has crafted her own unique style that incorporates strength and stretch, but also mindfulness that allows the student to feel and move in a safe way. In her 11 years teaching, she has taught in settings such as the UnderArmour world headquarters, Oakley world headquarters, the Boston Common, Yoga Reaches Out, and as an E-RYT 500, has participated as a Lead Trainer in 4 different teacher trainings. Lauren is the founder of Lola Yoga, “whereimat” podcast, and is an avid blogger. She is dedicated to continuing to learn and grow and bring her knowledge to her students.

Claudia is the founder of WRKwell, an operational resilience and recovery training company serving public safety and critical infrastructure organizations across the Mid-Atlantic region. She previously served as Director of Interdisciplinary Education at the Give Back Yoga Foundation, developing national training programs for high-stress and specialized populations including eating disorders and addiction survivors, veterans, first responders, and military personnel.

Kendall Wood is an O2X Yoga Specialist. Kendall obtained her 500 Hour Experience Registered Yoga Teacher certification and is a Yoga Therapist with over 2000 teaching hours under her belt. Since 2019 she has specialized in working with firefighters and other first responders and tactical athletes. She is also a Level 1 iRest Teacher. Kendall hopes to show others how beneficial yoga can be as a mental health and resiliency tool. Lisa Jakub is a 500-hour therapeutically focused yoga teacher who trained at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She is also an author, speaker, and retired actor who spent eighteen years working in the film industry. She is the founder and director of Mission Flexible, a nonprofit offering mindfulness retreats to military Veterans living with post-traumatic stress. Lisa has led over 1,000 hours of classes focused on resilience, nervous system regulation, and mind-body strength. She has completed Mindful Resilience Training and the Mindful Resilience for Compassion Fatigue program through Veterans Yoga Project, Military Cultural Competency Training via Virginia Veteran and Family Support, Yoga Nidra training with Mona Anand, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training at the University of Virginia. She is a corporate mental wellness trainer for companies like Google and Ketchum, and she loves demystifying mindfulness practices to make them accessible and beneficial to all. Lisa lives in Virginia with her husband and their anxious rescue dog.

Melanie Helmer

Melanie Helmer brings her previous experience as an officer in the Marines and combines it with her holistic approach to health to tailor yoga classes that meet everyone's unique needs. While dealing with her own physical and mental health challenges and still on Active Duty, she found that medication and traditional Western medicine were not doing enough to help her. Utilizing yoga and Pilates, Melanie noticed huge improvements in her pain, range of motion, and sleep. After leaving Active Duty in 2021, she continued to gain additional certifications for yoga and pranayama and has recently left the corporate world to focus on her own holistic health and healing, as well as gain new tools to help others. Outside of her work, Melanie enjoys gardening, painting, and visiting breweries with her boyfriend Charlie. She also loves taking her dog Lacey to the beach and playing with her two cats.

Sarah is an E-RYT 200, Level 1 IRest Yoga Nidra and Warriors at Ease Teacher. She has taught regularly since 2008. Her love for working with the military started in the studio setting but grew tremendously when she worked for Wounded Warrior Project on the Combat Stress Recovery Team. During her tenure with WWP, Sarah was able to work with small groups guiding an experiential outdoor education and 12-week coaching program. Seeing first hand the impact connection and activity had on the participants inspired Sarah to branch out on her own. She continued to contract with WWP specifically for yoga, IRest Yoga Nidra, and meditation. In 2020 Sarah became a Warriors at Ease Teacher and has since co-lead some of the WAE Trainings. He has over 23 years of experience and specializes in internal medicine.

Brent Levy

Dr. Brent Levy is and O2X Medical Advisor serving as the Physician Medical Director for CAPCE Programming. He currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director for Emergency Medicine and the Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine at Rose Medical Center. In this role, he is integrally involved in all practice management decisions as well as curating physician scheduling. Brent serves on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee and was involved in disaster management planning surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Brent is also currently the Trauma Medical Director at Rose Medical Center, a Level IV Trauma Center. Brent is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Advanced Wilderness Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.Throughout his career, Brent has conducted research and developed tools to support rural trauma care, wilderness medicine courses, and curriculum design focused on injury prevention through helmet use in outdoor recreational activities. Prior to his medical career, Brent worked as a resort planner and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technician contributing the design of renowned resorts around the world. He is an avid outdoorsman, accomplished endurance athlete, and spends his free time biking, running, paddling, and skiing in the mountains of Colorado with his wife, daughter, and black lab.

David Sherman is a data analyst at O2X. As a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer, Dave offers experience with tactical and occupational athletes such as Fort Worth Police and Fire, as well as, professional and collegiate athletics. He received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (2012) and Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2014) from Boston University. Dave is currently a PhD student at the University of Toledo where he studies applied neuroscience in sports and exercise. His research focuses on the maladaptive brain changes that occur after musculoskeletal injury and the development of rehabilitative treatments that can target those changes.
Dave has volunteered as a member of the Boston Marathon Medical Team since 2012. His passion for tactical athlete readiness was inspired by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, when the readiness and collaborative actions of Boston Police, Fire, and EMS members on Boylston Street meant the survival of 278 injured civilians. Dave believes wellness is unique to each individual athlete, with success rooted in balanced nutrition, sleep, mental health, and physical activity.

Patrick McCarthy is an O2X Nutrition specialist who specializes in performance nutrition and has a background in both sport and exercise science and nutrition. Alongside this, Patrick has 10+ years’ of experience as a basketball coach and 5 years as a semi-professional player in Ireland. His coaching experience has provided him with the ability to communicate effectively to athletes of all types. On the other hand, his athletic career provided first-hand experience of the importance of nutrition, training, recovery and all the other 1% details required for optimal performance. In 2018, he was appointed as the senior nutritionist for a top level football club and has been working with high-performance athletes ever since.Patrick has a passion for bridging the worlds of science and coaching by breaking down evidence-based science to practical and actionable information. He believes that now more than ever, we are what we eat. He strives to help improve peoples’ understanding of what their body requires on a daily basis not only to function, but to excel in training and performance. From this, one’s confidence improves in situations where physical fitness, endurance, strength and recovery are critical. Patrick currently hosts a nutrition-related podcast called The Ubuntu Nutrition Podcast, where he strives to complete the goals mentioned above. The term ‘Ubuntu’ is an ancient Zulu phrase that is loosely translated to ‘I am because we are’. It places an emphasis on a family, team approach to everything. Tiffany Batsakis

Tiffany Batsakis
Tiffany Batsakis is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and Registered Dietitian. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and completed her dietetic internship there as well. She served in the United States Army for six years. As a result, she is familiar with the needs of the tactical athlete and maintains a high level of physical fitness in her day to day life. Upon completion of her degree, Tiffany worked for the non-profit organization, Meals on Wheels of San Antonio, where she planned the menu and conducted nutrition analysis for the meals served to over 3,800 homebound seniors daily. While at the organization, she counseled clients, worked with kitchen staff and food vendors, maintained the site’s blog, conducted surveys, and mentored student interns. In 2016, Tiffany left her job to travel, mostly in Asia, for two years. When she returned, she started her own business as a consultant and contract dietitian, with a focus on healthy living, nutritious meal plans for clients, menu planning and nutritionanalysis for various organizations, and general nutrition education classes tailored to the client. Tiffany has worked in a variety of settings, including one of the largest grocers in Texas, HEB. As a retail dietitian, she counseled clients and helped shoppers find quality food products, meal ideas, and nutritious recipes. She has also taught Cooking and Nutrition in Recovery (from substance use disorders) at addiction treatment centers, including one facility that caters specifically to active military, veterans, and firefighters in recovery.As a registered dietitian, Tiffany has a passion for health and wellness and is also a personal trainer. She remains active in her daily life, conducts weekly workouts with members of the fire department, and enjoys the outdoors. She earned a certificate in Topics in Human Behavior at Harvard Extension School and feels behavior change is a very helpful way to improve nutrition outcomes. She is a member of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), and belongs to different dietetic practice groups including, CV Wellness, and the Behavioral Health Nutrition Group through the AND. She has also attended various sports and nutrition symposiums and stays up to date with the latest and greatest in the world of nutrition via webinars, conferences, and training events.

Samantha is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Prior to her time at O2X, Samantha worked in market research for several years. During that time, she collaborated and built relationships with Fortune 500 companies to connect them to their consumers through private on-line communities. She also had the opportunity to work on global accounts in Australia and New Zealand, traveling there to meet with the clients.Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University in 2013. While there, she competed on the Club Women’s Ice Hockey team and was the co-captain her senior year. She decided to change career paths and went back to school in 2017 to become a Registered Dietitian. She received her Master of Nutrition from Simmons University, as well as a Certificate in Sports Nutrition and a Certificate in Integrative Functional Nutrition. While completing her M.S., Samantha researched and co-authored an article investigating the behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs of pregnant women as it relates to their nutrition and supplementation. Her research has been published in Nutrition and Health Journal.Samantha enjoys running and has completed three marathons and two half-marathons, with her eyes set on more in the future. For the past 8 years she’s been a Lagree and spin fitness instructor in Boston, teaching at SLT and Equinox, respectively. In her free time, Samantha enjoys being with friends and family, including her new nephew, watching movies and shows, reading new books, spending as much time outside as she can, and traveling to new places.

Chloe Schweinshaut is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and registered dietitian who owns a private practice, Riverside Nutrition, in Cambridge, MA. She works with a variety of clients looking to improve their health through diet and lifestyle, with a particular focus on first responder nutrition.
Drawing on both professional experience and personal connection, Chloe specializes in supporting the unique demands of first responders, helping them optimize performance, resilience, and long-term health in high-stress environments. She has worked with departments including the Boston Fire Department, New York Fire Department, Cambridge Fire Department, and Boston Police Department, as well as numerous other police, fire, and ambulance services across the country to support healthier lifestyles and address concerns such as weight loss, cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
Chloe lives in Cambridge, MA with her four kids, three dogs, and firefighter husband.

Andrea Givens

Andrea Givens, MS, RD, CSSD, is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Andrea has been a Registered Dietitian for over a decade and is a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She attended San Diego State University for undergrad and completed her dietetic internship through California State University, Sacramento in 2010. Andrea spent her early career building a strong foundation in dietetics working as a clinical dietitian in acute care, including serving veterans as a clinical dietitian at the VA. Transitioning into sports nutrition around 2015, she worked with recreational endurance and CrossFit athletes, Division I collegiate athletes at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, spent the 2018 MLB season as a Sports Science Intern for the San Francisco Giants, and was a Sports Nutrition Fellow for USA Volleyball during an Olympic qualifying year (2019).Andrea returned to school and earned master’s degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology concurrently from San Diego State University in 2020. During her graduate program, she began working in human performance research for the military and published data on metabolic demands of cold-water diving in Naval Special Warfare operators.In addition to providing nutrition expertise to O2X tactical athletes nationwide, Andrea currently works on a physiology team in the Warfighter Performance Department of Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, conducting operationally relevant research to optimize readiness in military personnel. She also volunteers on the Research and Education Committee for the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association and is a member of the Sports and Human Performance Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.A California native, Andrea is an avid outdoor athlete and has crossed the finish line of numerous half marathons, triathlons, 10Ks, summited Half Dome, and swam from Alcatraz. She is a military spouse and has recently learned how to freedive thanks to her husband.

Kelli Reese is a Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition and O2X Nutrition Specialist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio University, her dietetic internship at The University of Akron and her master’s degree in nutrition from Arizona State University. Kelli has been a dietitian since 2010 and has worked in numerous areas of nutrition and healthcare including hospitals, long term care facilities, gyms and a halfway house for drug and alcohol recovery, but her real passion lies in sports nutrition. In the past few years Kelli has worked with an array of athletes including competitive powerlifters, military tactical athletes, high school and adult athletes, runners and triathletes. In addition to her Kelli role as O2X Nutrition Specialist, she is a Clinical Dietitian and Wellness Coach at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and in 2021 opened her own sports nutrition practice: Inso Sports Nutrition. She is the current (2022) President of the Greater Cleveland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and was voted Ohio’s 2020 Recognized Dietitian of the Year by the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for her significant contribution to the profession of dieteticsAs an athlete, (having played rugby for seven years before switching to running marathons and half marathons) and personal trainer, Kelli is familiar with the challenges athletes and tactical athletes face on a daily basis. This understanding allows her to take a personal approach in helping clients find nutritional balance when juggling the demands of their sport, jobs and personal life all while remaining competitive and goal oriented.Kelli lives in Cleveland, Ohio where she was born and raised with her husband (and fellow runner), their four year old daughter, cat and dog. Laura Moretti Reece is an O2X Nutrition Specialist who completed her Master’s Degree in clinical nutrition as well as her didactic program in clinical dietetics at New York University. She previously worked as the Primary Nutrition Therapist at Columbus Park Collaborative and Appleman Nutrition in New York City before relocating to Boston in 2015 to join the Female Athlete Program and Sports Medicine/Orthopedics Team at Boston Children’s Hospital.As a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Laura specializes in sports performance-based nutrition, as well as treating low energy availability, disordered eating, and eating disorders in athletes. Laura has an extensive amount of experience in consulting and collaborating with Olympic and professional athletes, local colleges and universities, as well as professional sport and dance facilities. She is the consulting dietitian for the Boston Ballet Company and Schools, US Rowing, and is an instructor at the Institute for Rowing Leadership in Boston.Laura previously served as the Co-Chair of the International Academy of Eating Disorders Sport and Exercise Special Interest Group, as well as the co-chair of the Boston Children’s Hospital Female Athlete Conference. Laura is also the owner of a Boston based private group practice Laura Moretti Nutrition LLC. She is also a competitive triathlete and a two-time Boston Marathon qualifier and finisher.

Nick Barringer

Dr. Nick Barringer is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Nick currently researches and serves as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy. Previously while working at the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine he researched Warfighter nutritional requirements in differing environments to include deployed Special Operators. Prior to that, he taught performance nutrition at the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition. Nick served in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a member of the Ranger Athlete Warrior (RAW) program where he oversaw the nutrition and aspects of the physical training of Rangers.Nick received his undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia, his master of science in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate in kinesiology from Texas A&M.Nick is passionate about improving nutrition and performance in tactical athletes and has the unique perspective of a researcher, teacher, and practitioner who has gone through physically demanding courses such as Ranger School, Survival Evasion Resistance Escape (SERE), Airborne, Air Assault as well as having deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan so he best understands both the academic and applied demands of the tactical athlete. Nick has presented at both national and international conferences on tactical athlete nutrition and performance and his research has appeared in multiple media outlets such as Science Daily and Men’s Journal.

Sean Spanbauer

Sean Spanbauer is a Sport and Tactical Performance Dietitian and retired Army Officer with over 25 years of service. He is no stranger to the human performance industry, having spent 11 years as a personal trainer and 12+ years as a performance dietitian working with world class athletes and the Army’s Special Forces Operators. Prior to his current position, Sean spent a significant portion of his career as an educator, training military healthcare providers as well as working in a clinical setting as an in-patient and out-patient dietitian. He spent 12 months as a Sports Dietitian Fellow with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOCP) assigned to work with a variety of athletes and sports teams. For the last 7 years, Sean has been the owner/operator of Nurti-Sean Sports Nutrition Consulting, working with the USOCP, multiple NGBs, various college athletic departments, sports performance organizations, and first responders.In addition to being a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Sean is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetic from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Baylor University.

She currently serves as a Performance Dietitian at the Intrepid Spirit Center at Fort Belvoir, where she provides integrative, evidence-based nutrition support to active-duty service members managing traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also works with O2X Human Performance, delivering science-backed nutrition education to tactical athletes across military, federal, and public safety populations.
Deanna’s career spans collegiate athletics, healthcare, and private practice. She spent nearly a decade as a Sports Dietitian at George Mason University, supporting Division I student-athletes through medical nutrition therapy, performance fueling strategies, and interdisciplinary care. She continues her work at the university as a Senior Fellow in the Center for the Advancement of Wellbeing and as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Sport and Exercise Nutrition. Her additional experience includes dietetic roles in an orthopaedics and physical therapy practice, hospital-based clinical nutrition, and consulting with athletes and individuals managing complex conditions such as eating disorders, RED-S, and nutrient deficiencies.
Deanna is passionate about translating science into practical strategies that enhance health, resilience, and performance. She takes a holistic approach to care, integrating mindful and intuitive eating principles alongside physical training and recovery. In addition to her nutrition work, she is a registered yoga teacher and trauma-informed mindfulness instructor, incorporating mind-body practices to support overall well-being.

Dorette Franks, MS, RDN, is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. As a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Dorette graduated with honors, earning a Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University, completed a dietetic internship through Iowa State University, received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from San Francisco State University, and holds coaching certifications on behalf of USA Triathlon and USA Track & Field.Dorette has worked in the field of nutrition and human performance since 2004. Following the completion of her first Ironman New Zealand in 2001, she quickly established her career as an endurance coach. In 2005, she led as head coach for the San Francisco Nike Women’s Marathon and has continued to coach runners and triathletes to successful Boston Marathon qualifications and Ironman finishes. Dorette is a six-time Ironman finisher, placing 1st in division and 3rd overall female at the Full Vineman, division winner at Ultraman Canada, a three-time Boston Marathon qualifier/racer, and represented Team USA at the USA Triathlon Long Course World Championship. As a clinical sports dietitian she’s worked alongside cardiologists, exercise physiologists, strength trainers, and coaches integrating nutrition support to ultra-cyclists, ultra-runners, and triathletes as they face the most rigorous endurance events, including the Race Across America (RAAM), the Ultraman World Championship, the Ironman triathlon. Dorette addresses performance and health through functional and integrative practices using evidence-based approaches. Mary Pat is currently the Director of the Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics program at Drexel University, with a specialized focus on sports nutrition. In this role, she not only shares her wealth of knowledge with aspiring nutrition professionals but also contributes to the advancement of the sports nutrition profession.Mary Pat earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton. Her strong foundation in exercise science laid the groundwork for her deep understanding of the relationship between physical activity and nutrition, setting the stage for her future success. Continuing her academic journey, Mary Pat pursued a master’s degree in human nutrition at Drexel University. This advanced degree provided her with a comprehensive knowledge of human nutrition, enabling her to provide evidence-based dietary guidance to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Mary Pat DeHaven’s career in nutrition and dietetics spans various healthcare and academic institutions, including The Massachusetts General Hospital and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Danielle Demarest

Danielle Demarest
Danielle Demarest is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She is originally from South Carolina and attended Clemson University, earning her Bachelor and Master of Science in Food Science, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Go Tigers! Danielle has an extensive history in both collegiate athletics and tactical performance. She is a former NCAA Division I athlete, playing golf for Winthrop University, and has experience working with collegiate athletes at Clemson University. Danielle served in the U.S. Army for 5 years as an active-duty Registered Dietitian, working with Service Members and Veterans across all branches, including U.S. Army Special Operations Command. Her career as a dietitian spans critical care, individualized nutrition counseling, and leadership roles in food service and personnel management, with a focus on optimizing human performance in tactical populations.
Outside of work, Danielle lives in North Carolina with her husband and son and enjoys cooking, running with her dogs, and spending time outdoors. She has completed several half marathons and also enjoys making homemade wine and mead.
As part of the O2X team, Danielle is passionate about simplifying nutrition and helping others apply it effectively in their daily lives.

Nick Biase, RDN, CSSD obtained his bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition from San Diego State University then completed his dietetic internship with the VA of Greater Los Angeles and Naval Special Warfare Group One. Nick has operated a sports nutrition practice for over 10 years and during that time has worked with a full spectrum of tactical athletes. He also managed a wellness program for the City of San Diego’s First Responders. Having served in both the US Marine Corps and Army he not only understands the science behind sports nutrition but also its practical application by utilizing it to personally achieve a higher level of human performance. Nick is dedicated to helping tactical athletes achieve their goals by simplifying the science and guiding them towards developing a realistic lifelong plan. During his free time, Nick enjoys surfing at home in Southern California and cooking large Italian meals for friends. In addition to being an avid weightlifter he’s also completed several long distance runs to include San Antonio TX - San Diego CA and the Grand Canyon Rim-Rim-Rim.

Sarah is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and registered dietitian who believes that everyone has the potential to perform at a higher level and channel their inner athlete. With a background in clinical dietetics, WIC, and private practice, she is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Health Studies at American University, focusing on advancing health promotion through knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle habits. As a sought-after expert in nutrition communication, Sarah is a nutrition content editor at EatingWell and is a published author of two books. She has a strong foundation in performance nutrition and provides education for high school athletes and parents. Sarah has a PhD in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University—Chicago, where her research focused on the home food environment of competitive swimmers. As an Air Force veteran and military spouse, Sarah’s commitment to veterans’ health is evident in her volunteer work as a nutrition contributor to Team RWB. In her free time, she enjoys running, writing, cooking, and watching her three high-energy teenagers compete in sports.

Tracy Daly, MS, RD/N, is an O2X Nutrition Specialist, Registered & Sports Dietitian, and holds a master’s degree in nutrition education from The Chicago Medical School. Originally from the Detroit, area, Tracy completed her dietetics studies and dietetic internship there, setting her on a fulfilling career path that combines her passions for health and education. Tracy has been a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for over 26 years, working in a variety of settings, including collegiate health, corporate and tactical wellness, research, and fitness facilities. She discovered her passion for working with college students and athletes and has worked with a variety of active individuals for over 20 yeas. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Kinesiology Department at CSU San Marcos, the Nutrition Department at San Diego Mesa College, and the Public Health Program at National University. Tracy also supports the CSUSM Cougars as their Sports Dietitian and has provided expert nutrition support to athletes at San Diego State University, The University of San Diego, and UC San Diego. Her expertise spans sports nutrition, recovery, behavior modification, disordered eating/eating disorders/body image concerns, and gastrointestinal health. Tracy’s interest in nutrition sparked in college when she recognized how dietary changes could enhance health. Managing her own health challenges as an adult, she found balance through nutrition, Pilates, and mindfulness - a journey that deeply shapes her work today. An active member of the American Sports & Performance Dietitians Association and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Sports and Human Performance group, Tracy also gives back to her community. Since 2007, she has volunteered with Rady Children’s Hospital’s canine therapy program and recently adopted Frank, her second therapy dog. Amanda Sheaffer is a Nutrition Specialist at O2X Human Performance. Amanda is also an accomplished Dietitian who has worked in various roles across the nation. She first started on the nutrition team with EXOS during the 2017 Combine class for the NFL draft in California. She then shifted to the Wounded Warrior Project to work with veterans nationally for weight-loss and disordered eating management. She moved back to Chicago, her hometown, to serve as the Associate Director of Food and Nutrition for Cook County Health Hospital Systems and was a part of the first COVID-19 response teams for the city. In 2021, Amanda started her private practice, Chicago Nutrition Clinic and opened a second office in Miami. She now also teaches at Miami Regional University and is completing her Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition at University of North Florida. Her passion is identifying challenging populations and developing realistic and sustainable solutions for individuals and populations alike.

Aston Dommel

Aston Dommel is an O2X Nutrition Specialist focused on performance nutrition. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and a PhD in Nutrition Sciences, providing him with deep expertise in research and applied nutrition. A registered dietitian with over seven years of experience, Aston has worked with a wide range of populations, including tactical and special operations professionals, collegiate and professional athletes, and general populations. This diverse background gives him a unique perspective on how foundational nutrition principles can be applied across different performance demands. Currently, Aston works with Momentous, where he supports clinical research and product development, helping to advance evidence-based supplementation and human performance. In his education approach, Aston emphasizes building a strong foundation in the basics of nutrition and then tailoring those principles to the individual. His philosophy is simple: the fundamentals apply to everyone—only the application changes. As a Type 1 diabetic, Aston brings a deeply personal understanding of the relationship between nutrition, health, and performance. He lives this daily, using nutrition to manage his condition while optimizing his own performance. He is committed to continuous learning and regularly expands his knowledge through research, coursework, and professional development.

Jaime Tartar

Jaime Tartar
Jaime Tartar, Ph.D. is an O2X Sleep & Fatigue Management Specialist and President's Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), where she serves as Chair of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.
Dr. Tartar received her Ph.D. in Psychology in the Behavioral Neuroscience concentration from the University of Florida, focusing on long-term neurobiological adaptations in stress-response systems and the development of translational animal models of stress. During graduate school, she also served for six years in the U.S. Army Reserves. She completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, where she investigated the neurological consequences of sleep perturbations using in vitro electrophysiological techniques and received additional training in Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Tartar has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications and multiple book chapters spanning sleep, stress biology, cognitive performance, and human readiness. Her work includes studies involving tactical populations, athletes, and professional fighters, as well as large-scale translational and industry-sponsored trials. She has received external research funding from organizations including the Department of Education, Department of Defense, NSF-supported collaborations, and industry partners, supporting over $1 million in sponsored research activity.
She is a TEDx speaker, delivered the NSU Commencement Address (2021), and has served as keynote speaker for multiple academic and professional conferences, including the Miami Dade College Research Symposium. She was named NSU Professor of the Year (2018) and previously received the NSU Excellence in Teaching Award.
Based on her expertise in sleep, stress physiology, and performance neuroscience, Dr. Tartar consults with multiple national organizations. She contributes to research design initiatives with Radicle Science, serves as a scientific advisor to Enchanted Wave, LLC and Optimal Performance, LLC, and has previously served on the scientific advisory board of the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is a current Advisory Board Member of The International Society for Sports Nutrition and The international Society for Exercise Neuroscience. She also regularly contributes as a scientific reviewer for federal agencies including NASA.
Dr. Tartar is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Society for Sports Neuroscience, an international academic organization advancing research at the intersection of brain health and performance. Her current research focuses on sleep as a modifiable mechanism linking stress biology, cognitive function, microbiome signaling, and human performance in both clinical and high-demand operational populations.

Meagan Rizzo

Meagan Rizzo
Dr. Meagan Rizzo is an O2X Sleep Specialist. She retired from the Army after 24 years of service in Army Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD in 2003. Dr. Rizzo is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine. As an Army Colonel and mother of four, she is intimately familiar with sleep deprivation and its impact on human performance. Prior to retirement, Dr. Rizzo was the Chief of the Sleep Disorder Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where she served active duty, retirees and dependents of all ages. She had a special focus on the special operations community, shift workers and military senior leaders. Dr. Rizzo served in both the deployed environment and in CONUS locations. She deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq in 2011 with the 101st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Infantry Division. She also served in the prestigious role as a Specialty Consultant to the White House Medical Unit while at WRNMMC, where she was the sole provider for senior government leaders. Dr. Rizzo is the daughter of a retired Army officer and wife of an active-duty Special Forces officer. Her practice is shaped by the holistic experience of not only being a service member, but also a spouse, and former “Army brat”. Dr. Rizzo has always been committed to fitness. She was a starter on her Division I soccer team in college, and the captain and leading scorer for her medical school Rugby team. In her free time, you can find her in the pool, on a bike, or on the run. She has completed two half-ironman races and countless other triathlons.

Tina Burke

Dr. Tina M. Burke is an O2X Human Performance Sleep Specialist. She specializes in providing skills for sleeping better and techniques on how to increase your performance when working round the clock shifts or working with sleep loss.
Dr. Burke earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kent State University in Kent, OH. She then earned a Master’s of Science in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado – Boulder, followed by a dual Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Her research aims at developing our understanding of mechanisms by which photic (light) and non-photic stimuli (e.g., exogenous melatonin, caffeine) can be used as countermeasures to improve sleep, alertness, performance, and overall health.
Currently, Dr. Burke is the Civilian Deputy Director of the Psychological Health Branch at the Walter Reed Institute of Research and provides oversight for military mental health research, preclinical models of stress, the Sleep Research Center, and field research teams addressing operational psychological health. Dr. Burke has had the pleasure of the support and companionship of her husband for the past 20 years. As a professional road cyclist, he was one of her first clients that she was able to instill the importance of sleep and circadian alignment on performance.

Kelly Bennion

Kelly Bennion
Dr. Kelly Bennion is an O2X Sleep Specialist. Dr. Bennion received her Ph.D. in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience from Boston College, and is an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and Biopsychology at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. Her research uses a combination of behavioral, eye tracking, polysomnography (overnight sleep monitoring), and neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI) approaches to understand the effects of sleep and stress on memory for negative and traumatic experiences. She has published several peer-reviewed articles on sleep and emotional memory consolidation, including showing that those with higher stress levels at the time of a negative experience have better subsequent memory for that negative information, but only following a period of sleep. As Dr. Bennion’s research has important implications for understanding PTSD and other clinical and affective disorders, she has received grants supporting her research from sources including the US Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, American Psychological Association, and Psi Chi. She has also spent time at the Duke- National University of Singapore Medical School as a visiting scholar, researching the effects of sleep restriction on adolescent cognition. Dr. Bennion has been passionate about teaching and education for as long as she can remember, and has an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her commitment to teaching has been acknowledged by her receipt of the Professor of the Year Award (College of Liberal Arts, Cal Poly), the Teaching Excellence in Psychological Science Award (American Psychological Association), as well as the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award (Boston College). Dr. Bennion is also passionate about mentorship and outreach. She has founded three mentorship programs for psychology and neuroscience students at Boston College and Cal Poly, coordinated neuroscience outreach events throughout the greater Boston area for children, college students, and older adults, and has organized several events promoting Women in Science. Dr. Bennion feels strongly that one should value health, fitness, and work-life balance, and she has accomplished this largely through fostering her love for dancing. Dr. Bennion has been an avid dancer since age 7, and danced professionally in the Boston area from 2010 to 2016. She was a member of the Adagio Big Band Jazz Company, the Boston Cannons Dance Team, and was a New England Patriots Cheerleader – ending her tenure as an NFL cheerleader with the Patriots’ Super Bowl XLIX victory in her home state of AZ in 2015. Dr. Bennion’s scientific commitment to researching the importance of sleep on cognition and emotional well being, and her personal commitment to maintaining a healthy, physically active lifestyle makes working with O2X a perfect fit.

Allison Brager

Allison Brager
Dr. Allison Brager is an O2X Sleep Specialist and a Major in the U.S.Army. She is also an elite CrossFit athlete competing for the Army. Allison sits on fatigue management working groups for the federal government, Special Forces, and NATO. Previously, at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research; she and her teammates leveraged groundbreaking sleep discoveries to deliver knowledge products and material solutions to the Army. Her discoveries have most recently been delivered during Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Gotham. She has over 40 publications in flagship biomedical journals.Allison holds an Sc.B. from Brown University and a Ph.D. from Kent State University. Her popular science book, Meathead: Unraveling the Athletic Brain, debunks the myth of “the dumb jock” and chronicles her time as a two-time CrossFit Games team athlete and two-time Regionals athlete. She was also a four-year varsity Division I collegiate track & field athlete. Allison still competes as a Master’s athlete in world championships in track & field and CrossFit. She believes the key to success in life is planning your career around your lifestyle not your lifestyle around your career.

Ashlee McKeon

Ashlee McKeon
Ashlee McKeon is an O2X Sleep Specialist. Ashlee has over 18 years of experience assessing and probing sleep disruption in both military and veteran groups. She is an active duty U.S. Army officer who currently serves as the Chief of Research for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) at Ft. Bragg, NC. Her team’s mission is to support the development and validation of research/program evaluation initiatives across the Special Operations community. This includes the development and evaluation of Assessment & Selection programs for elite military units as well as Command- and Unit-level programs/initiatives aimed at enhancing force readiness through targeted assessment of knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to succeed in highly demanding and specialized military careers.
Previously, Ashlee was assigned to the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Center for Military Psychiatry and Neurosciences where she served as Chief of the Operational Research Team for 3 years. Her team developed, tested, and validated field-ready capabilities to determine the impact of disrupted sleep and circadian misalignment on the physical, cognitive, and emotional readiness of conventional and elite military units during training operations and in far-forward deployed environments. Much of her work was also dedicated to educating military units, small team leaders, and senior leaders on how to maximize shortened or shifted sleep opportunities in the operational environment to support mission success and reduce risk associated with sleep loss. Ashlee also has a special interest in examining the role of sleep and circadian rhythmicity as risk factors for posttraumatic stress and head injury in combat-exposed service members.
Ashlee holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Honors Psychology, with minors in both Applied Statistics and Sociology, from the University of Pittsburgh (2010). She also earned her Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, with a certificate in Rehabilitative Assistive Technology, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013, and then continued her training to earn her Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. Ashlee then completed postdoctoral training in Translational Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine before transferring her research program to the military in 2017. Ashlee commissioned as an officer into the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps as a Research Psychologist, or 71F, in 2018.
Personally, Ashlee is an avid Crossfitter and trainer/coach. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, and being outdoors with her husband and cattle dog Monroe. She loves to travel and strives to experience several new locations, domestic and international, each year.

Ana Fins
Ana Fins, PhD, ABPP is an O2X Sleep and Resilience Specialist and a Professor in the Department of Clinical and School Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She completed her graduate training in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Miami where her dissertation focused on examining the relationship between psychological coping and immune function in individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Subsequently she completed post-doctoral training in behavioral sleep medicine at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Fins has been training students in health psychology and behavioral sleep medicine for over two decades. At NSU she teaches doctoral-level graduate students in the clinical psychology program. She also supervises doctoral students providing treatment to individuals with insomnia and to individuals coping with serious and life threatening medical conditions. She recently co-authored a book on insomnia treatment and has co-authored various articles and book chapters, many examining the relationship between sleep and health.
