
Brittany Petty
Brittany Petty, MSW, LICSW, E-RYT 500, YACEP, is an O2X Yoga & Resilience Specialist who brings an integrative, mind-body approach to performance, recovery, and mental health. She is the founder of Embodied Wellness, PLLC, a private practice based in Central Massachusetts, where she works with individuals, couples, and families both in person and via telehealth across the state.
Brittany has been teaching yoga since 2012 and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). She leads yoga teacher trainings and professional development experiences, supporting other instructors in cultivating authentic, intuitive, and impactful teaching styles. Her approach to yoga is dynamic and intentional, blending vinyasa, somatic awareness, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to help individuals build resilience and deepen connection to their bodies.
She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston University and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Brittany integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic and relational approaches, and mindfulness-based practices into her clinical work. Her areas of focus include anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief, and high-performance stress, with a strong emphasis on the connection between physiological regulation and psychological well-being.
Prior to opening her private practice, Brittany worked as a school counselor and in outpatient and milieu treatment settings, supporting clients across the lifespan. She has also worked with professionals in high-demand environments, including the tech industry, helping individuals develop sustainable strategies for stress management and performance.
Through her work with O2X, Brittany delivers practical, experiential training in yoga, breathwork, and resilience, equipping individuals and teams with tools to manage stress, optimize recovery, and enhance overall performance.
Outside of her professional work, Brittany is deeply connected to her community. She is a founding board member of the 365Z Commitment to Kindness Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting intentional acts of kindness and supporting local schools, families, veterans, and older adults throughout Central Massachusetts. She lives with her husband, a Marine OIF Veteran and Lieutenant in the Worcester Fire Department, and their two children.
