Michael Reinhardt is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Mike was involved in an array of sports while growing up – football, crew, and competitive tournament paintball – which budded his passion for strength sports and performance training. Mike earned his B.S in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo.Mike is a presenter and content creator for R2P Academy, a clinician-directed continuing education company that seeks to bridge the gap along the rehab to performance continuum. Through a wide variety of coaching and clinical experiences, he has worked alongside an assortment of highly talented performance-minded health professionals. With over 10 years of strength and conditioning experience, Mike has worked with diverse populations of athletes and active individuals from both rehabilitation and performance perspectives. He has been fortunate to work with team sport athletes, firefighters, police officers, SWAT members, retired military, CrossFit, powerlifting, and weightlifting athletes. Mike has competed in Olympic Style weightlifting for the last eight years and remains heavily involved in numerous weightlifting and strength sport communities. He enjoys the beautiful complexity of the sport of weightlifting – a perfect blend of speed, strength, power, mobility, and coordination required to perform the snatch and clean and jerk at maximal potential.Mike has an intense passion for integrating strength and conditioning principles along with the intricacies of human performance and rehabilitation to help realize an individual’s true potential. He enjoys the art of blending the complexities of human movement into a progressive plan geared towards building resiliency and maximizing an individual’s physical and mental capabilities.
