Gabriel Gomez

Gabriel Gomez
Gabriel Gomez is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s overall strategy, growth, and operational direction. As CEO, Gabriel oversees all facets of the business, guiding the company through continued expansion while maintaining a strong focus on mission alignment, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. He works closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives, manage enterprise risk, strengthen partnerships, and advance O2X’s position as a leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In addition to overseeing day-to-day business operations, Gabriel leads investor relations and financial strategy efforts that have supported the company’s significant year-over-year growth. As one of O2X’s founding members, he has played a critical role in every stage of the company’s development — from its original formation and startup phase through its rapid national expansion and evolution into a trusted provider of human performance programs across military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors.
Prior to founding O2X, Gabriel built a successful career in private equity and investment management, working with firms including Advent International, Summit Partners, and Bowles Hollowell Conner. He also co-founded Equality Asset Management, where he focused on investment strategy and business growth initiatives. In 2013, Gabriel stepped away from Advent International to run for the United States Senate seat vacated by John Kerry, ultimately winning the Republican nomination in the Massachusetts special election. Before his business and political career, Gabriel served as both a Naval Aviator and Navy SEAL Officer after graduating from the United States Naval Academy. He later earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Gabriel holds a unique place in U.S. Naval history as only the second individual to qualify as both an aircraft carrier pilot and a Navy SEAL Officer, a distinction that reflects the discipline, adaptability, and leadership that continue to shape his approach today.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gabriel remains deeply committed to supporting the military and veteran communities. He is a co-founder of the Navy SEAL Foundation New England and previously served as a Trustee for Noble & Greenough School. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and supporting causes connected to leadership development, service, and resilience. He lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.

Paul McCullough

Paul McCullough
Paul McCullough is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he helps lead the organization’s strategic growth, client engagement, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Adam La Reau and Gabriel Gomez, Paul has played a central role in shaping the company’s mission, culture, and industry-leading human performance model. As President, he focuses on ensuring O2X’s products, programs, and services are positioned to create meaningful impact across military, federal, public safety, and other high-performance organizations. Driven by a deep passion for supporting those who serve others, Paul remains committed to improving the health, readiness, resilience, and performance of tactical populations nationwide.
During O2X’s formative years, Paul led the company’s business development efforts and helped build the customized human performance platform that now supports hundreds of organizations across the United States. He was instrumental in adapting O2X’s methodology to meet the unique operational demands of each client, helping develop many of the programs, services, and solutions that continue to define the organization today. Prior to co-founding O2X, Paul served eleven years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL with SEAL Team Eight and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Throughout his military career, he conducted multiple combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other contingency operations around the world. Paul separated from military service as a Chief Petty Officer and received numerous awards for valor and leadership, including the Silver Star Medal, two Bronze Star Medals with Valor, and two Joint Service Commendation Medals with Valor. Following his military career, Paul worked on the Institutional Sales Team at Eaton Vance Investment Managers before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship and fully dedicate himself to advancing human performance through O2X.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from American Military University and continues to remain deeply connected to the tactical and veteran communities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, staying active, and pursuing opportunities that challenge both physical and mental performance. His leadership philosophy continues to reflect the same principles that shaped his military career — discipline, service, resilience, and a commitment to helping others perform at their highest level.

Adam La Reau

Adam La Reau
Adam La Reau is the Co-Founder and President of O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key leadership role in guiding the organization’s strategic growth, operational direction, and long-term vision. Since co-founding O2X in 2013 alongside Gabriel Gomez and Paul McCullough, Adam has been instrumental in building the company into a nationally recognized leader in integrated human performance solutions for tactical athletes and high-performing organizations. In his role as President, Adam helps oversee the continued evolution of O2X’s programs, partnerships, and operational initiatives while ensuring the company remains aligned with its mission of improving the health, safety, readiness, and resilience of those who serve others.
Throughout O2X’s growth, Adam has played a foundational role in developing the organization’s operational infrastructure and translating elite human performance principles into scalable, real-world solutions for military, federal, public safety, and industrial populations. His leadership has helped shape the systems, services, and educational methodologies that continue to define O2X today. Prior to founding O2X, Adam served in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL, where he operated in demanding, high-performance environments that required discipline, adaptability, teamwork, and resilience. His experiences in Naval Special Warfare heavily influenced the development of O2X’s holistic approach to human performance, emphasizing the integration of physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, stress management, and injury prevention to support long-term operational effectiveness and overall well-being.
Adam remains deeply passionate about leadership, performance, and supporting the tactical community through sustainable human performance initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and being with his family and friends. His leadership philosophy reflects the same principles that shaped both his military and professional career — service, accountability, continuous improvement, and a commitment to helping individuals and teams perform at their highest level.

Eamonn Burke

Eamonn Burke
Eamonn Burke is the Executive Vice President of Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads a nationally distributed sales team focused on revenue generation, client retention, and strategic account management. In his role, Eamonn oversees business development initiatives across the organization and helps drive the continued expansion of O2X’s human performance programs within military, federal, public safety, and industrial sectors. His strategic leadership and vision have played a significant role in positioning O2X as a national leader in human performance programming for tactical populations and high-performance organizations.
Since joining O2X in 2016, Eamonn has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth strategy, operational sales infrastructure, and client engagement approach. He led the implementation of O2X’s CRM system, developed a scalable sales pipeline, and built a decentralized sales team with nationwide coverage. His ability to foster strong relationships throughout the tactical and public safety communities has contributed significantly to O2X’s consistent year-over-year revenue growth and expanding client footprint. Prior to joining O2X, Eamonn held sales and business development roles with security-focused technology startups, including Resilient Systems and Rapid7, where he specialized in identifying emerging market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
Eamonn is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, where he was also a collegiate baseball player. Outside of work, he is a passionate endurance athlete who has completed nine marathons, a Half Ironman, and three Pan-Mass Challenge cycling events. Eamonn lives in Milton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Darcy, and enjoys pursuing fitness and outdoor challenges alongside his professional career.

John Vargo

John Vargo
John Vargo serves as the Senior Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s municipal sales strategy and supports the development of impactful human performance programs for state and local government agencies nationwide. In his role, John works closely with municipal leadership teams, public safety organizations, and strategic partners to expand O2X’s presence within the fire service, law enforcement, and other tactical communities. Leveraging his operational experience, leadership background, and business development expertise, he helps create customized solutions that improve the health, safety, resilience, and performance of first responders and public sector professionals.
Prior to joining O2X, John completed a distinguished 20-year career with the Chandler Fire Department in Arizona, where he served as an Engineer Paramedic. Throughout his fire service career, he remained heavily involved in leadership and advocacy efforts, serving as an IAFF Union Representative, an Apparatus Committee Member, and co-founding the Chandler FireFighter Athletic Association, which supported firefighter participation in the World Police and Fire Games. In addition to his public safety background, John spent 15 years working in real estate and also served as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR), helping clients and peers navigate asset diversification, portfolio management, and retirement planning strategies. Following his retirement from the fire service, John founded Turn In, a nonprofit organization focused on introducing mindfulness and meditation practices to first responders, and became a recognized keynote speaker on mental wellness, resilience, and stress management within the tactical community.
In 2019, John became an mPEAK-certified instructor through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness and later contributed as an instructor for the Chopra Global 21-Day Business Kickstarter in 2022. Outside of work, John enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through running, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and yoga. He resides in San Diego, California with his wife and is a proud father of three adult children and grandfather of two.

Blake Brinkerhoff

Blake Brinkerhoff
Blake Brinkerhoff serves as the Senior Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the organization’s federal sales initiatives and supports the integration of human performance programs across U.S. government agencies. In his role, Blake oversees the federal sales team, focusing on strategic business development, relationship management, client retention, and long-term partnership growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. Drawing on his tactical experience and leadership background, he works closely with agency stakeholders to ensure O2X programs are aligned with operational demands and mission readiness objectives.
Blake’s professional foundation was built during his 12-year career as a Navy SEAL, where he completed three deployments supporting operations in more than 20 countries. Serving with SEAL Team 4, Blake held leadership positions including Lead Breacher and Assault Team Leader, where he managed high-risk operations requiring precision, adaptability, and decisive leadership. In the later stages of his military career, he became the Lead Instructor for Close Quarters Combat at SEAL Qualification Training, where he trained and mentored more than 300 SEAL candidates annually, helping develop the next generation of Naval Special Warfare operators. His operational experience and passion for leadership, resilience, and performance continue to shape his approach to supporting federal clients and tactical populations through O2X.
Blake earned his degree in Organizational Leadership while serving on active duty and later completed the Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program at the University of Southern California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children in Oceanside, California. An avid outdoorsman, Blake is passionate about surfing, spearfishing, and staying connected to the ocean, pursuits that reflect the same commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance that define both his personal and professional life.

Jason Carver

Jason Carver
Jason Carver serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at O2X Human Performance, where he leads federal business development efforts focused on strategic opportunities across the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies. In this role, Jason works closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, and internal leadership teams to identify, capture, and implement opportunities that expand O2X’s integrated human performance model to tactical populations nationwide. His work centers on building long-term partnerships that improve readiness, resilience, and performance for those operating in high-demand environments.
Prior to joining O2X, Jason served 21 years in Naval Special Warfare as a Navy SEAL, holding leadership positions across SEAL Teams, Special Reconnaissance units, and multiple command staffs throughout his career. He completed his service at Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training (BUD/S), a full-circle opportunity that allowed him to help shape and mentor the next generation of Special Operations personnel. Throughout his military career, Jason developed a deep appreciation for the role that physical training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, injury prevention, and mental resilience play in operational effectiveness and long-term health. In addition to his military experience, Jason co-founded Outlier CrossFit in San Diego, where he helped grow the business into a successful performance and training community, sponsored a competitive team at the CrossFit Games, and later exited the business successfully.
Jason brings decades of leadership experience in high-performance environments and remains passionate about advancing human performance within the tactical community. Based in San Diego with his wife and two sons, he continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges through mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and trail running. Most recently, Jason completed the JFK 50-Mile Ultramarathon alongside fellow O2X teammates.

Zack McAdams

Zack McAdams
Zack McAdams serves as the Senior Vice President of Training & Education at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the organization’s in-person and virtual training and education programs delivered to tactical and high-performance populations worldwide. Bringing more than a decade of experience as a tactical athlete and military leader, Zack manages all aspects of O2X’s training operations, including specialist staffing and development, event planning, client coordination, logistics, equipment forecasting, inventory management, budget oversight, and operational execution. His leadership helps ensure the consistent delivery of O2X’s world-class programs and educational offerings, supporting hundreds of events globally each year while advancing the organization’s mission to improve the health, safety, and performance of those who serve others.
Prior to joining O2X, Zack served 13 years in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, achieving the rank of Major. Throughout his military career, he held leadership positions within the 101st Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, and 10th Mountain Division, serving in roles that spanned operations, logistics, training, advising, and command leadership. Zack deployed multiple times to Afghanistan and concluded his Army career serving as both an Operations Officer and Executive Officer at the Battalion level, where he was responsible for the planning, resourcing, and synchronization of operations for an 800-soldier infantry battalion. Following years of combat and operational service, Zack medically retired from the Army in July 2022 due to career and combat-related injuries, an experience that further strengthened his passion for human performance, career longevity, and supporting the long-term well-being of tactical athletes. His operational experience and leadership background continue to shape the way he approaches training, education, and program delivery at O2X.
Zack earned his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College and later completed his master’s degree through the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He currently resides on the South Shore with his wife, Jen, and their daughter, Delaney. Outside of work, Zack values time with his family, staying active, and remaining engaged within his community. His dedication to leadership, service, and improving the lives of others continues to make him a respected leader within O2X and the broader tactical human performance community.

Ali Levy

Ali Levy
Ali Levy is the Vice President of Sales Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she brings more than a decade of experience in the human performance industry. In her role, Ali works cross-functionally to develop systems, processes, and strategies that allow the sales team to focus on revenue generation, client retention, and successful program implementation. As one of O2X’s founding team members, she has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth, internal operations, and long-term alignment with its mission and core values.
Throughout her time at O2X, Ali has held several leadership positions across the organization. As Director of Education, she collaborated with leading researchers and subject matter experts to build customized educational programs for clients and contributed to O2X’s published works, including co-authoring Human Performance for Tactical Athletes and contributing a chapter to Surviving the Fire Service. Prior to that, as Director of Operations, she oversaw the logistics and execution of O2X’s nationwide in-person training programs. Drawing from her background as a Mental Performance Specialist, Ali has also delivered sessions focused on resilience, goal setting, and performance psychology. Before joining O2X, Ali competed on the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, where she became a two-time North American Cup Grand Prix Champion and competed internationally at the World Cup level.
After retiring from competitive skiing, Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Middlebury College, where she also competed in track and field, before completing her Master of Education in Sport Psychology and Counseling at Boston University. In 2015, she was inducted into the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Hall of Fame and Wall of Excellence in recognition of her athletic accomplishments. Outside of work, Ali continues to pursue endurance and outdoor challenges, including completing a 1,100-mile cycling trip and multiple 50-mile ultramarathons, while maintaining her lifelong passion for skiing and spending time outdoors.

Dan Hartig

Dan Hartig
Dan Hartig serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Digital Products at O2X Human Performance, where he leads the development and execution of the organization’s digital strategy and technology platforms. In his role, Dan oversees engineering, software architecture, and product development efforts that support O2X’s digital ecosystem, including tools and platforms designed to enhance performance, readiness, and long-term health for tactical athletes, first responders, and frontline professionals. Bringing a background in engineering, architecture, and technical leadership, Dan focuses on building scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions that align with the evolving needs of O2X clients and internal teams. His experience leading multidisciplinary teams and refining software development lifecycles has helped strengthen O2X’s ability to deliver high-quality digital products that support operational excellence and user engagement.
Dan’s professional background spans both military service and the private technology sector. He initially enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 following the events of 9/11 before being selected for an officer candidate program in 2004. Dan later graduated from the United States Naval Academy as a Trident Scholar with a degree in Computer Science in 2008 and went on to serve as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG-49) and USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). Following his military service, Dan transitioned into software engineering and technology leadership roles, beginning with work supporting the intelligence community at Zeta Technologies. He later held engineering and leadership positions with organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sezzle, and Best Buy, where he gained extensive experience implementing large-scale technology solutions across startup, enterprise, and national retail environments. His diverse technical and operational background continues to shape his leadership approach and vision for digital innovation at O2X.
Dan resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, Darray, and their five children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, serving his community, and pursuing his passion for cooking and barbecue. Known for smoking meats for large gatherings, holiday parties, and church events, Dan jokingly considers award-winning pit master to be his future retirement career. His enthusiasm for bringing people together through food reflects the same leadership, creativity, and team-oriented mindset that he brings to his work at O2X.

Meaghan Kirby

Meaghan Kirby
Meaghan Kirby serves as the Vice President of Education at O2X Human Performance, where she collaborates with leading researchers, subject matter experts, and internal teams to develop customized, integrated education programs for tactical athletes and high-performance organizations. In her role, Meaghan oversees educational strategy, organizational reporting, and data analysis initiatives designed to measure and communicate the impact of O2X’s programs and services. She leads the development of detailed reporting systems and client deliverables that demonstrate the effectiveness of O2X’s Integrated Specialist Programs, workshops, and educational events, helping agencies better understand performance outcomes, program engagement, and long-term impact.
Throughout her time at O2X, Meaghan has held multiple leadership positions across both the Education and Client Services departments. As the Education & Reporting Manager, she partnered closely with teams throughout the organization to build customized reporting frameworks and data-driven insights that highlighted the value and effectiveness of O2X programming. Prior to that role, she served as the Client Services Manager, where she helped lead educational content development, improve reporting systems, and strengthen client communication and support processes. Her work has been instrumental in enhancing the quality, consistency, and impact of O2X’s educational offerings while ensuring agencies receive professional, actionable, and meaningful program feedback. Meaghan’s passion for supporting tactical populations is deeply personal and rooted in her family’s long-standing connection to public service and first responder communities.
Meaghan earned both her Master of Education in Coaching and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boston University. While at Boston University, she competed as a distance swimmer on the BU Swimming and Diving Team and was also a USA Swimming Senior National Qualifier in distance freestyle and backstroke events. Her dedication to health, wellness, and performance continues outside of work, where she remains passionate about supporting first responders and tactical professionals. Meaghan’s family history includes multiple generations of public service, including a great-grandfather who served as a firefighter in Lowell, Massachusetts, a grandfather who was a Captain with the Massachusetts State Police, and a cousin currently serving as a police officer in Boxborough, Massachusetts. Her work with O2X allows her to combine her professional expertise with a meaningful commitment to supporting the health, resilience, and well-being of those who serve others.

Lorenzo Romolo

Lorenzo Romolo
Lorenzo Romolo is the Vice President of Human Performance Integration at O2X, where he created and developed the HPI department to ensure the seamless implementation of O2X programs within client organizations. In this role, he oversees client relationships, contracts, and national program delivery, with a focus on ensuring measurable impact across all sectors. He also leads oversight of On-Site Specialists, data analytics, impact tracking, and customer service, ensuring human performance initiatives are effectively integrated and consistently delivering results for O2X clients.
Lorenzo began his career with O2X as a Lead Instructor, where he leveraged his operational experience to deliver training and education events for first responders, federal agencies, and military personnel. He was later promoted to On-Site Specialist Program Manager, where he helped build and manage the deployment of human performance specialists, and then advanced to Director of Client Services, playing a key role in expanding O2X programs across military, law enforcement, fire service, and DOJ/DHS partnerships. His leadership was instrumental in establishing O2X as a trusted partner in human performance across these critical sectors.
Originally from Australia, Lorenzo retired from Special Operations Command Australia after a distinguished 15-year military career. As a Special Forces Operator, he deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and East Timor, working alongside U.S. Special Operations and other coalition forces. He also served in domestic counterterrorism roles and worked with Australia’s Joint Counter Terrorism and Tactical Police, as well as the FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT).

Crystal Vidas

Crystal Vidas
Crystal Vidas serves as the Vice President of People Operations at O2X Human Performance, where she leads the organization’s people strategy and oversees all human resources and administrative functions across the company. In her role, Crystal helps drive the systems, structure, and operational processes needed to support O2X’s continued growth while maintaining a high-performance, people-centered culture. Over the past 18 months, her role has continued to evolve alongside the organization, expanding beyond traditional HR leadership into broader operational strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, compliance, compensation strategy, and large-scale recruiting efforts across both headquarters and embedded tactical performance programs nationwide. She plays a key role in aligning people operations with company growth initiatives while helping leaders build scalable teams, improve internal processes, and maintain O2X’s mission-driven culture. Crystal also oversees recruitment, onboarding, and development efforts for many of the organization’s operational and leadership roles, helping attract and retain high-performing professionals across a wide range of disciplines.
Before joining O2X, Crystal spent six years with lululemon, where she led multiple stores throughout the Philadelphia region and ultimately supported the successful opening of a new store in Delaware. During her time with the company, she consistently exceeded sales and operational targets while building strong employee engagement and community relationships. Prior to transitioning into leadership and operations, Crystal spent the first decade of her career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, working across Oregon, Virginia, California, and Taiwan. One of her most impactful professional experiences was helping establish and lead a sports medicine program at Taipei American School, where she built a multidisciplinary support system designed to meet the unique needs of student-athletes. Her background in healthcare, athletics, leadership, and performance continues to shape her approach to people operations and organizational development at O2X.
Crystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Oregon State University and her Master of Science in Education through the Post Professional Athletic Training Education Program at Old Dominion University. Outside of work, she remains deeply involved in fitness, performance, and outdoor adventure. A longtime competitive CrossFit athlete, Crystal has competed at the regional level three times and has recently shifted her focus toward age-group CrossFit competition while also participating in events such as The Tactical Games and ultramarathon racing, including completing a 50-mile race in 2025. One of her most notable endurance accomplishments was completing an unsupported rim-to-rim-to-rim crossing of the Grand Canyon with her husband in 16.5 hours. Outside of training and competition, Crystal enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and creating new adventures with her husband and their three boys, ages 9, 5, and 2.

Brendan Stickles

Brendan Stickles
Brendan Stickles serves as the Vice President, Government at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees federal government accounts and supports the organization’s strategic growth within the Department of Defense and broader federal sector. In his role, Brendan works closely with government leaders, agency stakeholders, and internal teams to develop partnerships and deliver human performance solutions that support readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Drawing on his extensive military and national security background, Brendan helps align O2X’s programs and services with the evolving needs of federal agencies and tactical populations.
Brendan joined O2X in September 2023 following his time as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he served at the White House as the Special Advisor for Defense to Vice Presidents Kamala Harris and Mike Pence, where he managed a broad portfolio that included national security, veterans’ issues, defense innovation, military readiness, and personnel policy. During his tenure on the National Security Council as Director for Defense, Brendan worked across multiple government agencies to support strategic defense initiatives and senior leadership decision-making. Before transitioning into government advisory roles, Brendan served more than two decades in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator and Commander. Over the course of his military career, he flew jets for more than 18 consecutive years and completed over 550 aircraft carrier landings. On his final operational deployment aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, he commanded an EA-18 squadron that earned back-to-back “Battle E” awards recognizing combat efficiency during Operation Inherent Resolve. Among his most memorable personal experiences as a pilot was performing the 2008 Major League Baseball Opening Day flyover for his favorite team, the New York Mets.
Originally from Glen Rock, New Jersey, Brendan graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in History before earning both an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. He currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and their three school-aged children. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time with family, staying connected to the military and veteran communities, and supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership, readiness, and service.

Cole Hatcher

Cole Hatcher
Cole Hatcher serves as an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance, where he supports the development and management of human performance programs for local government and public safety organizations nationwide. In his role, Cole leverages his tactical background, leadership experience, and operational expertise to build strong client relationships, support program implementation, and ensure long-term client success and retention. He works closely with agencies to develop customized solutions that align with their operational demands and organizational goals, helping tactical professionals improve readiness, resilience, and overall performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Cole served as a Special Agent focused on investigations involving gang violence, firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking. Before transitioning into federal law enforcement, he spent four years on active duty in the United States Army as a Sergeant with F Company, 51st Long Range Surveillance Company, where he served as part of a military freefall team. Throughout his military career, Cole trained soldiers in surveillance operations, reconnaissance tactics, and physical fitness while also fostering partnerships with allied military forces. He completed several advanced military schools and certifications, including the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC), Pathfinder School, and the Military Freefall Parachutist Course (MFFPC). His combined military and federal law enforcement experience continues to shape his passion for supporting tactical professionals through performance-focused programs and leadership development.
Cole earned his degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona and has also worked in accounting and finance roles throughout his professional career. Originally from Arizona, he maintains a strong connection to the outdoors and enjoys spending his free time traveling, hiking, visiting the beach, and competing in trail races and local CrossFit competitions. His passion for adventure, fitness, and continuous growth reflects the same mindset he brings to his work supporting public safety and tactical organizations through O2X.

Brian Christianson

Brian Christianson
Brian Christianson is an Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X Human Performance and a 16-year U.S. Army veteran. In this role, he combines his passion for improving performance and longevity with over a decade of experience building comprehensive human performance programs. Prior to moving into leadership, Brian served as a Lead Instructor at O2X, where he worked directly with tactical athletes to implement training and education that elevated resilience, readiness, and long-term health.
Brian’s military career began in 1999 as a Combat Engineer, completing two deployments to Kosovo, one to Iraq, and one to Afghanistan before transitioning into Civil Affairs. Throughout his career, he held roles including Team Leader, Squad Leader, Team Sergeant, and Joint Plans and Operations NCO. He deployed alongside elite units such as Army Rangers and Navy SEALs and later trained future warfighters as a hand-to-hand combat and advanced weapons/tactics instructor. Following his service, Brian continued to support tactical readiness by opening a CrossFit affiliate, earning both a bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science from Texas State University and a master’s degree in Exercise Science & Wellness: Fitness and Performance from Liberty University. His experience also includes standing up the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at both Fort Bliss, TX, and Fort Sill, OK, where he served as the Human Performance Program Director.
Outside of work, Brian is an avid outdoorsman and competitor. He enjoys competitive shooting, golf, hunting, and sports, and values time spent in the outdoors with his family. Whether on the range, on the course, or simply outside with his loved ones, Brian continues to embody the same commitment to discipline, growth, and resilience that has defined both his military and civilian career.

Ryan Solley

Ryan Solley
Ryan Solley is the Assistant Vice President of Municipal Sales at O2X, supporting municipal agencies in building readiness, resilience, and long‑term human performance. He spent over a decade in the U.S. Army, with the majority of that time serving in Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. Throughout his career, he completed multiple deployments and held leadership roles centered on team development, training, and operational performance.
After transitioning from the military, Ryan spent two years with the National Guard Human Performance and Wellness Program, where he helped stand up and lead their Strength and Conditioning Program. He later earned a master’s degree in Human Performance and has since applied his operational and academic background to coaching, leadership development, and performance optimization across tactical and civilian populations.
Ryan lives in Florida with his wife and two children, staying active through outdoor adventures, travel, and community involvement.

Robert Kelly

Robert Kelly
Rob Kelly is an Assistant Vice President at O2X Human Performance, where he specializes in building strategic partnerships and supporting clients’ unique operational needs. Leveraging his extensive military background and deep understanding of Department of Defense operations, along with corporate industry experience, Rob implements performance programs tailored to the demands of military and federal agencies, municipal departments, and private-sector organizations. His work focuses on delivering innovative solutions that enhance warfighter readiness, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable success for the teams he serves.
Rob served 11 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing multiple overseas deployments aboard operational warships. Throughout his service, he held key leadership roles including Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Boarding Officer, Damage Control Assistant, Weapons Officer, and Combat Systems Officer, while also leading ship navigation operations worldwide. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and later earned a Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Originally from Coronado, California, Rob developed a passion for surfing and lacrosse and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He now resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife and three children and enjoys surfing, training Jiu-Jitsu, and creating memorable experiences with his family.

Jordan Smith is an Assistant Vice President of Federal Sales at O2X, where he draws on his leadership experience and operational background to deliver tailored human performance solutions to federal clients. In his role, he builds and maintains relationships with government agencies and implements performance solutions that improve resilience, strengthen readiness, and drive mission success.
Prior to joining O2X, Jordan attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played defensive end for the Army Football Team and graduated in 2017 before commissioning as a Field Artillery Officer. Over his eight years of Army service, he held a variety of leadership roles, including Platoon Leader, Fire Support Officer, and Battery Executive Officer with the 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas, as well as Battery Commander with the 434th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He concluded his military career as a Team Leader with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Hawaii, where he led global recovery missions throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, and China in search of U.S. service members who remain unaccounted for from past wars and conflicts.
Originally from Oceanside, California, Jordan and his wife are raising their two children in their hometown community. Passionate about fitness and the outdoors, he enjoys strength training, surfing, and spending time with his family.

Rachel Miller

Rachel Miller is the Assistant Vice President, Operations at O2X. In this capacity, she manages the staffing, planning, travel, and execution of O2X’s programs throughout the year. Rachel oversees a network of over 250 O2X subject matter experts and instructors, ensuring seamless operations for each event. She is committed to building strong relationships, growing the O2X family network, and fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for current staff, creating a culture of support and collaboration.
Before joining O2X, Rachel worked in the Events and Experiences team at Fenway Sports Management, the sports marketing agency of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group. In her role, she managed fan travel experiences, corporate events, and brand activations for several FSG entities and partners, including the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, Liverpool F.C., Jim Beam, Dunkin’, and the Red Sox Foundation. Her diverse experience in sports marketing and event management gave her a strong foundation in large-scale event coordination. Rachel also holds a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a sports focus from Boston University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Journalism.Rachel was a standout member of the Women’s Soccer team at Boston University, where she was a two-time captain, two-time All-Patriot League selection, and three-time Patriot League Champion. Her dedication to sports extended beyond her college career, as she traveled to Uganda with Coaches Across Continents to promote the power of sport for social impact. After her soccer career, Rachel ran the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the Boston Bruins Foundation, igniting her passion for running and endurance training. Born and raised in South Shore, MA, Rachel is a member of the East Bridgewater High School Athletics Hall of Fame for her achievements in soccer and track and field.

Crystal Schurko serves as a Senior Front End Engineer at O2X Human Performance, where she focuses on web and mobile application development, building intuitive user experiences and implementing new features that enhance the functionality and accessibility of O2X’s digital platforms. In her role, Crystal works closely with engineering, product, and design teams to create seamless user-centered solutions that support tactical athletes, coaches, and organizational leaders. Drawing on her strong operational background, she also plays an important role in refining agile development processes and improving collaboration across teams to support efficient product delivery and continuous platform improvement.
Prior to joining O2X, Crystal held software engineering leadership roles across the healthcare, publishing, and technology industries. She served as a Lead Software Engineer at Florida Blue and Banyan Hill Publishing, where she led development efforts focused on scalable web applications and user-focused digital experiences. Earlier in her career, she worked in client-facing software development roles at MercuryWorks and gained experience in embedded systems engineering with Magic Leap. Throughout her career, Crystal has built expertise in frontend engineering, agile methodologies, and product-driven development, allowing her to effectively bridge technical execution with business and user needs. She also maintains a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development, earning certifications across areas including full-stack web development, embedded systems, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, while also participating in and winning multiple hackathons.
Outside of work, Crystal enjoys reading, research, and design, and is constantly exploring new technologies and creative outlets to expand her knowledge and skills. She lives in South Florida with her husband and two daughters, where she enjoys balancing her passion for technology with family life and personal growth.

With a foundation in business and a passion for technology, Daniel brings a strategic mindset to mobile engineering, creating seamless and intuitive user experiences that meet real-world needs.
Prior to joining O2X, Daniel played key roles at companies such as Reggora, Dragon Army, and TrueNorth, where he contributed to the design and deployment of impactful mobile solutions across diverse sectors. His strengths lie in solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and fostering strong collaboration across teams. Daniel made the leap into tech in his late twenties and has since carved out a path defined by growth, curiosity, and a relentless drive to improve. His work reflects a deep commitment to learning and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile development.
Outside of engineering, Daniel is a dedicated enthusiast of combat sports and soccer, and enjoys any challenge that pushes him to grow, both personally and professionally.

He blends product leadership with real-world operational insight to create tools that are intuitive, resilient, and mission-ready. Jeremy works cross-functionally with internal teams and end users to ensure O2X’s digital solutions enhance readiness, performance, and long-term well-being across the tactical community.
Before joining O2X, Jeremy built a career at the intersection of public safety, technology, and human performance. He previously shaped product direction for Active911’s nationwide emergency alerting platform, designing tools used in high-stress, time-critical environments. His perspective as both a product leader and an end user is grounded in more than 25 years of fire service experience spanning operations, training, and readiness development. In addition to his service background, Jeremy is a longtime fitness entrepreneur who has owned and operated two CrossFit gyms—including one in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—where he coached athletes and developed programming tailored to elite performance and tactical demands.
Jeremy’s approach is rooted in a lifelong commitment to learning, human performance, and community. He and his wife, Kari, live in Oregon with their dog, Murph, where they stay connected to the outdoors and an active lifestyle that fuels their passion for health and performance. Outside of his work at O2X, Jeremy continues to pursue education, coaching, and personal development initiatives that strengthen his ability to serve the tactical population.

Joey Lee

Joey Lee
Joey Lee is a full-stack software/product engineer at O2X, where he leads the technical design and development of the O2X Coach's Portal web application. While splitting his time among mobile, back-end, and front-end feature work, Joey specializes in collaborating with product and design to shape and launch user-focused solutions end-to-end.
Prior to O2X, Joey held mid- through staff-level software engineering positions at organizations including Amazon, Florida Blue, and several fast-growing venture-backed startups from seed through Series D stage. These experiences gave him a broad perspective on designing, building, and scaling software products across diverse environments and team structures.
Joey studied computer science from high school through college and completed a Software Engineering Immersive at Hack Reactor. Outside of work, he has wide range of hobbies and interests — from Socratic philosophy, psychology, and mindfulness meditation to classical piano and jazz improvisation to barbell training to web novels. He lives with his wife and kids in St. Johns, Florida.

Ashley Roberts

Ashley Roberts is the Manager of Recruiting and Talent at O2X, where she plays a key role in supporting the People Operations team. Her primary responsibility is attracting top-tier talent to O2X and guiding candidates through an efficient and engaging interview and onboarding process. In addition to talent acquisition, she also supports employee engagement and development across departments, helping to build and sustain a high-performing, mission-driven team as the organization continues to grow.
With over eight years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, Ashley has worked across a wide range of environments, including secondary schools, collegiate athletics, military settings, and industrial performance roles. Her passion for serving military personnel and veterans is deeply personal, as she is the spouse of a Marine veteran. This connection fuels her commitment to the mission and strengthens her dedication to supporting those who serve. Prior to her current role, she contributed to hiring and onboarding athletic trainers and worked as an industrial athletic trainer, further expanding her expertise across multiple sectors.
Ashley holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Oklahoma, providing a strong clinical foundation for her work in both human performance and talent strategy. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through fitness, outdoor adventures such as boating, and spending time with her family, including her daughter and two beloved pit bulls. Her energy, work ethic, and commitment to others make her a valued member of both O2X and the broader community.

Joe McCullough

Joe McCullough
Joe McCullough serves as the Manager of Marketing at O2X Human Performance, where he oversees the planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing initiatives and brand strategy. In his role, Joe manages a wide range of content and communication efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, public relations, the O2X Human Performance Podcast, and the company’s blog and digital storytelling initiatives. His work plays an important role in advancing O2X’s mission, educating audiences on the value of human performance, and strengthening engagement across tactical, military, public safety, and high-performance communities. Through both strategic planning and creative execution, Joe helps communicate the impact of O2X’s programs, people, and mission nationwide.
Before joining O2X, Joe attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy after receiving a conditional appointment and completing a preparatory program at the New Mexico Military Institute. While at Kings Point, he was involved in leadership and extracurricular initiatives, serving as a 3/C Petty Officer to the Regimental Commander, sailing as a cadet aboard the S.S. Horizon Pacific, and helping found the Kings Point Endurance Club. In June 2016, Joe sustained a cervical spinal cord injury that initially left him quadriplegic. Following months of intensive rehabilitation and therapy, he regained significant function and independence through relentless determination, resilience, and adaptability. His experiences overcoming adversity continue to shape both his personal perspective and professional approach. Joe’s background in the Maritime Logistics and Security Program, combined with the leadership and problem-solving skills developed during his recovery journey, laid the foundation for his career growth at O2X. Since joining the organization, he has held multiple roles including Operations Coordinator and Experience Coordinator before transitioning into his current position leading marketing initiatives.
Outside of work, Joe remains passionate about personal growth, resilience, and inspiring others through his journey of recovery and perseverance. His experiences have given him a unique perspective on adaptability, mental toughness, and the importance of community support. Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams
Daniel Williams serves as the Manager of Integrated Programs for O2X Human Performance on the West Coast, where he supports the implementation, oversight, and continued development of integrated human performance programs for tactical populations. After beginning his career with O2X as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Strength & Conditioning, Daniel has continued to expand his leadership responsibilities while supporting embedded specialists and operational programs across multiple client sites. In his role, he works closely with tactical organizations and O2X personnel to ensure programs are effectively aligned with mission demands, operational readiness goals, and long-term performance outcomes for the populations they serve.
With more than 12 years of experience in the human performance field, Daniel has dedicated much of his career to supporting tactical athletes and Special Operations communities. Since 2015, he has worked directly within the special operations environment as a Human Performance Specialist, helping operators improve strength, durability, resilience, and overall operational readiness. Daniel began his work in the tactical space with Air Force Special Operations Command, supporting the 24th Special Operations Wing and the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS). Following his time with STTS, he transitioned to Naval Special Warfare Group 1, where he spent more than four years working alongside Navy SEALs and supporting human performance initiatives focused on optimizing performance and reducing injury risk within elite operational units. His extensive experience embedded within high-performance tactical environments continues to shape his practical and mission-focused approach to coaching and leadership.
Daniel remains deeply passionate about helping tactical professionals achieve sustainable, long-term performance success both physically and mentally. His hands-on experience within elite military communities, combined with his leadership within O2X’s Integrated Programs, has made him a trusted resource for both specialists and tactical organizations alike. Through his work, Daniel continues to support O2X’s mission of improving the health, readiness, and resilience of those operating in demanding environments.

Mark Christiani

Mark Christiani
Mark Christiani serves as the East Coast Human Performance Integration (HPI) Manager for O2X Human Performance, where he supports, develops, and mentors On-Site Specialists across multiple contracts and locations. In this role, Mark helps integrate comprehensive human performance programs focused on strength and conditioning, injury prevention, recovery, and long-term readiness for tactical and industrial populations. He works closely with both leadership teams and embedded specialists to ensure programs are operationally effective, sustainable, and aligned with client mission requirements.
Prior to stepping into his current leadership role, Mark worked as an On-Site Human Performance Specialist supporting the United States Army Reserve 81st Readiness Division, where he delivered strength and conditioning support designed to improve Soldier readiness, physical performance, and resilience while reducing injury risk. Before joining O2X, Mark served as the Brigade Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program with the 44th Medical Brigade at Fort Bragg, where he led the development and implementation of large-scale performance initiatives across multiple battalions and installations. During his time in the H2F program, he helped build Brigade-level strength and conditioning systems, oversaw new soldier performance initiatives, supported the distribution and integration of wearable technology, and contributed to data collection and performance analysis efforts. Earlier in his career, Mark worked in collegiate strength and conditioning at Savannah State University and the University of South Carolina, primarily supporting football and track and field athletes. His introduction to tactical strength and conditioning began during his time serving in the U.S. Army with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment while preparing for Ranger School.
Mark brings more than a decade of experience in tactical and collegiate human performance and remains passionate about continuous growth as both a coach and leader. He earned his Master of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia Southern University and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University. Mark is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Outside of work, he enjoys competing in and coaching powerlifting, spending time at the beach, and continuing to refine his cooking skills.

Dave Burke

Dave Burke
Dave Burke serves as the Operations Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where he plays a key role within the Operations department supporting the execution of O2X’s nationwide programs, events, and embedded specialist initiatives. In his role, Dave manages logistics and operational coordination for workshops, training events, and on-site programs, helping ensure that O2X personnel and equipment are fully prepared to support clients across the country. His responsibilities include organizing and overseeing shipping operations, maintaining equipment readiness, and supporting the systems and processes that allow O2X programs to operate efficiently at scale. As the organization continues to grow, Dave remains heavily involved in improving operational workflows, identifying creative solutions, and strengthening the consistency and professionalism of the O2X experience.
Prior to joining O2X, Dave worked as a manager at a local beach in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where he collaborated closely with first responders, emergency management personnel, and local fire and police departments. During this time, he developed and implemented safety procedures, coordinated operational planning efforts, and introduced fitness initiatives designed to improve team readiness and performance in a dynamic public safety environment. His experience managing operations and leading teams in high-responsibility settings helped build the leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills he now applies in his role at O2X. Dave’s passion for teamwork, preparedness, and operational excellence continues to drive his contributions to the organization and its mission.
Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship in May 2022 and is currently pursuing his MBA at Lasell University. While attending Lasell, he was a two-time captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, leading the program to a Greater Northeast Athletic Conference Championship while earning multi-year all-conference recognition and finalist honors for Defensive Player of the Year as a Short Stick Defensive Midfielder (SSDM). Raised on the Massachusetts South Shore, Dave remains passionate about competition, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, surfing, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors with his three dogs.

Joshua Stuart Shor

Josh Stuart-Shor is a Manager of Integrated Programs and Workshop Lead for O2X, where he leads the delivery and execution of human performance programs for tactical athletes and client organizations. In this role, Josh drives program effectiveness through strategic engagement, on-site leadership, and close partnership with clients to ensure high-impact implementation and sustained results. As a trained mediator and facilitator, he brings a deliberate, people-centered approach to strengthening organizational culture, improving communication, and enhancing overall team performance.
Prior to joining O2X, Josh served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division before earning his Green Beret and going on to serve in the 3rd Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, NC. During his military career, he led and operated in complex environments across multiple combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central Asia, earning numerous awards and decorations for his service. From 2015 to 2016, Josh participated in the Army’s Tactical Human Optimization Rapid Rehabilitation & Reconditioning Program (THOR3) while recovering from combat-related injuries—an experience that shaped his long-term commitment to human performance, resilience, and recovery.
Following nearly a decade of service, Josh transitioned from the military to continue his leadership in high-performance environments. In addition to his work with O2X, he serves as a Lieutenant in a major metropolitan fire department, where he leads teams in dynamic, high-stakes situations. Josh holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Massachusetts Boston and applies that expertise to lead, develop, and support individuals and organizations in achieving sustainable performance outcomes.
He resides in Boston, MA, with his wife, Jessica, their four children—Camden, Abigail, Harrison, and Anne—and their dog, Buck. Outside of work, Josh and his family enjoy skiing, hiking, and fly-fishing in the mountains of Vermont

Alyssa Cafarelli

Alyssa Cafarelli
Alyssa Cafarelli serves as the Content & Education Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, where she works cross-functionally with multiple departments to support the development and delivery of high-impact educational resources, marketing materials, client reports, and digital content. In her role, Alyssa helps ensure that O2X’s educational and communication materials effectively support tactical athletes, first responders, and high-performance organizations by delivering clear, engaging, and mission-focused content. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail play an important role in helping O2X maintain consistent, professional, and impactful resources across both internal and client-facing initiatives.
Prior to joining O2X, Alyssa worked as a preschool teacher for six years, where she developed a strong passion for education, communication, and helping others learn and grow. Her experience in the classroom strengthened her creativity, organization, and ability to connect with diverse audiences — skills that continue to support her work within O2X’s Education and Content teams. Alyssa also comes from a family deeply connected to the tactical community, which has fueled her personal connection to O2X’s mission of supporting those who serve others. Her combined background in education, communication, and content development has helped her become a valuable contributor to the organization’s efforts to educate and support tactical populations nationwide.
Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media from Plymouth State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Communications National Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta. During her time at Plymouth State, she further developed her passion for health, wellness, and digital media while creating content for the university’s recreation department. Outside of work, Alyssa remains passionate about supporting the tactical community and continues to find inspiration in the dedication and service of first responders, military personnel, and those who protect and serve their communities.

Brooke Williams

Brooke Williams
Brooke Williams is the Inside Sales Representative at O2X, where she plays a crucial role in supporting O2X’s Human Performance Business Development.
Before joining O2X, Brooke worked with enterprise organizations in SaaS sales, where she focused on implementing scalable solutions and streamlining content experiences for clients. Her background in business and technology helped her develop a keen understanding of operations and project management. Additionally, Brooke’s entrepreneurial studies at Bryant University sparked a deep passion for health and wellness, which led her to earn certifications in Nutrition and Personal Training, complementing her work in business. Brooke graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. While at Bryant, she co-captained the university’s first Women’s Club Lacrosse team during its inaugural season, showcasing her leadership skills and love for competitive sports. Elmer Diaz serves as the Creative Content Specialist at O2X Human Performance, where he produces high-quality visual and digital media content that supports the company’s mission and brand initiatives. In his role, Elmer develops engaging storytelling content across a variety of platforms, helping showcase the impact of O2X’s programs, people, and partnerships within tactical, military, public safety, and high-performance communities. His work includes capturing and producing photo and video content, supporting marketing campaigns, and creating visual assets that communicate the organization’s commitment to health, resilience, and performance. Through creative storytelling and strategic content development, Elmer helps strengthen O2X’s ability to connect with diverse audiences nationwide.
With more than five years of experience in media production and creative content development, Elmer has built a diverse professional portfolio spanning multiple industries and brands. Prior to joining O2X, he served as the Media Director at SoldierfitHQ, where he led multimedia production efforts and managed a wide range of visual storytelling projects. In addition to his full-time roles, Elmer has collaborated on freelance projects with nationally recognized organizations and brands including CBS Sports and lululemon, further expanding his expertise in video production, creative direction, and digital media strategy. His ability to combine technical production skills with authentic storytelling continues to play a valuable role in elevating O2X’s content and brand presence.
Elmer earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Hood College, where he developed a strong foundation in storytelling, media production, and visual communication. Hugh Hamill

Hugh Hamill
Hugh Hamill is the Logistics Coordinator at O2X, where he is an integral member of the operations team. In this role, Hugh is responsible for managing the logistics and operational requirements for O2X Human Performance events and On-Site Specialists. He oversees the coordination, organization, packaging, and shipment of materials to various events across the country, ensuring everything is delivered on time and in perfect condition. Additionally, Hugh helps manage inventory and logistical needs at O2X’s headquarters, playing a key role in maintaining efficient operations.
Before joining O2X, Hugh gained valuable experience as a supervisor within the Intramural Athletic Board at Providence College, where he developed his passion for sports, health, and physical well-being. This role allowed him to gain leadership experience and further his interest in the logistics of athletic events. Hugh also worked as a marketing intern at a local bank on the South Shore of Massachusetts, where he honed his skills in communication and organizational support, contributing to his broad experience in both operations and marketing. Hugh graduated from Providence College in May 2023 with a major in marketing and a minor in sociology.
Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Hugh was an avid sports fan and played multiple varsity sports during his time at Marshfield High School. Outside of work, Hugh enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, and staying active outdoors. His love for sports and fitness continues to drive his personal and professional endeavors.

Ashley Tropea-Migrants is an Education & Curriculum Coordinator at O2X Human Performance, based in Massachusetts. In this role, she designs and implements educational programs that help tactical professionals enhance their performance, resilience, and recovery. Drawing on her background in human performance, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal care, Ashley specializes in translating complex medical and performance concepts into practical, engaging content that can be applied across a range of industries and audiences.
Before moving into curriculum development, Ashley served as an on-site Human Performance Specialist at O2X, where she worked directly with industrial athletes to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. Outside of O2X, she holds licensure and national certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She served as the sole Athletic Trainer at a high school for five years, during which she simultaneously worked in a hospital-based orthopedic and sports medicine clinic, splitting her time across both settings for four of those years. She later transitioned into a private orthopedic surgical clinic operating as the designated orthopedic department for a regional hospital, where she worked alongside surgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists across multiple specialties, gaining experience in musculoskeletal care, patient education, casting and bracing, durable medical equipment application, and movement screening.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University in 2015. Born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she enjoys hiking with her dog, running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

McKayla Stoneback serves as the Staffing and Travel Coordinator for O2X Human Performance, where she oversees staffing logistics and coordinates travel operations for company workshops, events, and nationwide engagements. In her role, McKayla works closely with internal teams, specialists, and partners to ensure efficient scheduling, travel coordination, and operational support across O2X programming. Drawing from her extensive background in tactical human performance and field operations, she brings a unique perspective to supporting both the people and logistical systems that drive successful program execution.
McKayla was O2X’s first embedded On-Site Specialist, joining the company in 2019 in support of Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services in Frederick, Maryland. Over the course of her career, she has spent more than nine years working within the tactical population, specializing in movement screenings, prehabilitation programming, tactical strength and conditioning, and comprehensive health and wellness initiatives for career fire departments. Prior to transitioning into her current role with O2X HQ, McKayla worked directly with tactical athletes to improve readiness, durability, and long-term performance outcomes. Her background in human performance began on the athletic side, where she worked with athletes of varying ages and competitive levels before expanding her focus into the tactical field. While completing her graduate education, McKayla conducted research focused on the relationship between the physical demands of firefighting and the fitness qualities required for operational performance, with her work ultimately being published.
McKayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition before completing her Master of Science in Kinesiology and Outdoor Recreation: Sports Performance & Conditioning from Southern Utah University. In addition to her academic background, she is a certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and Athleticism Coach. Outside of work, McKayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active alongside her husband, who serves as a career firefighter with the Saint Paul Fire Department. Together with their two young children, they enjoy activities including fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, and fitness.

Jeremy Noble
Jeremy is an O2X instructor who teaches stress management and resilience building. he is a Licensed psychologist who earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology before joining the U.S. Army to provide psychological services to soldiers and consultation to their commanders. After a few years in a clinical setting, Jeremy transitioned to serving in units within the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), where he worked as an operational psychologist providing psychology-specific consultation to maximize individual/unit performance.Since leaving the Army in 2022, Jeremy has shifted his focus towards helping organization leaders maximize their own performance while also creating highly productive and psychologically healthy environments for their employees. He is board certified in Organizational and Business Consulting Psychology. Jeremy currently resides in Opelika, Alabama with his 9-year-old Doberman, Zeke. Most mornings, you can find them running around their small town, chasing sunrises.

Laurie Craigen

Laurie Craigen
Laurie Craigen is an O2X Clinical Resilience Specialist and an Associate Professor in the Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine Program at Boston University’s Chobanian and Avedesian School of Medicine. At Boston University, she has received teaching and faculty awards highlighting her teaching successes and ability to connect with students. She is also an active licensed mental health counselor in Boston, Massachusetts. Laurie received her PhD from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. It was there she developed her passion for working with clients experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. Throughout the years, she has developed expertise in working with high performance athletes, clients working in high stress environments, and military connected individuals.Laurie is also an endurance athlete. She grew up swimming and competed at the Division I level in college. As a marathon open-water swimmer, she is in pursuit of the triple crown of open-water swimming; the 20 bridges swim around Manhattan (which she completed in 2023), the Catalina Channel (which she is attempting in the summer of 2023) and the English Channel (which is scheduled for September of 2024). Additionally, Laurie is an ice swimmer and swims year-round in the ocean. She has also competed at the Vermont Winter Swimming Festival in Newport, Vermont.

She is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine, Director of the nationally renowned Good Grief Program at Boston Medical Center, a consultant to the Child Development Unit at Children’s Hospital, and an author. Her credentials and expertise have established her as one of the foremost experts on child and family bereavement in the country. Most recently, at the request of the Pentagon, she has been hired as the special resilience consultant to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group.She has provided consultation at Littleton, Colorado, at Ground Zero in the aftermath of 9/11 and in Grenada following Hurricane Ivan. Since 1991, she has lectured nationally to professional audiences in every major city with Dr. T. Berry Brazelton as a regular faculty member of the National Seminar Series.For nearly 20 years, as Director of the Good Grief Program, her training for educators and health professionals focuses on promoting resilience in the face of loss via strategies that strengthen coping skills for families, institutions, and communities. Immediately following 9/11, Trozzi’s principal work expanded to care for the loved ones and their families of the victims of the two planes that had emanated from Boston.Trozzi’s interest in bereavement expands to the grief families experience when a child is diagnosed with a disability, a grief that keeps on giving. Her research is focused on identifying grief touch points – predictable times in a disabled child’s development when parents’ grief is exacerbated. Trozzi’s model for professionals and parents has taken this grief ‘out of the closet’ for both affected families and clinicians that treat them.She is a frequent contributor to both print and electronic media. Dr. Garcia is the Founder of The Mastery Group, where he provides leadership coaching and
performance consulting to executives, teams, and organizations. He earned his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency at Rutgers University. Prior to his career in psychology, Dr. Garcia served as a United States Marine and worked as a firefighter and paramedic—experiences that continue to inform his approach to resilience, leadership, and performance in high-pressure environments.

Lindsay Braden

Lindsay Braden
Dr. Lindsay Braden is an O2X Resilience Specialist. She began her career in the MN Army National Guard as an enlisted member in 1998 and later transitioned to Active Duty in 2007 where she completed her internship/residency and became a licensed clinical psychologist. Early on, Lindsay served as an embedded psychologist in infantry units and became experienced in recognizing and addressing the outcomes of working in a high-risk environment providing clinical support. She completed a neuropsychology fellowship, board certification in clinical psychology, and oversaw multiple clinics prior to her retirement in 2020. Since the Army, Lindsay has transitioned her career focus to addressing insider threats within the DoW and intelligence community and is an Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) Certified Threat Manager (CTM). Lindsay also has experience working in assessment and selection, which has helped in developing an understanding of the personalities and characteristics of those drawn to working in high-risk environments and necessary techniques for success and effectiveness.

Robert Owens

Rob Owens is an O2X Leadership and Resilience Specialist. As a Leadership and Resilience Coach, Rob believes that optimal performance in work and life is contingent on the healthy communities we belong to (and the communities that we create for ourselves). Rob has held leadership roles in various sport psychology and wellness organizations and currently serves as the Division Head for Research and Practice for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. Rob spent most of his professional career in academia designing and implementing professional development programs and teaching courses in leadership, organizational development, coaching, and sport psychology. He retired from academia in 2022 to pursue a career in executive, performance, and organizational development coaching. He is a board-certified leadership coach and a licensed therapist.

Dr. Shane Saenz is a Clinical and Sport Psychologist who has been providing mental health and sport psychology services since 2013. Dr. Saenz has experience working with people from all backgrounds, including treating adults, adolescents, children, families, and athletes, having worked in various settings, such as correctional facilities, university counseling centers, and private practice. He also completed specialized training in Sport Psychology at UC Davis Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS), where he provided comprehensive services in SHCS, as well as Inter-Collegiate Athletics (ICA). Dr. Saenz received his BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz; M.Ed. in Counseling (Sport Psychology emphasis) from Boston University; and his Psy.D. from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. During his internship and postdoctoral residency at UC Davis SHCS as a member of the Sport Psychology team, he specialized in the treatment of athletes through individual mental health services; individual performance consultations; group workshops and performance meetings; and consultations with coaches and various ICA staff. He also co-led groups on Eating Disorders as well as mindful meditation. Dr. Saenz is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and is listed as an approved provider for the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) Registry for both Mental Health and Sport Psychology. Currently, he is in private practice based in San Diego, CA, and works as the Coordinator of Sport Psychology and Mental Health for Scholar-Athletes at UC San Diego Counseling Services and Athletics. Dr. Saenz approaches treatment from an integrative theory, incorporating aspects of psychodynamic, contextual behaviorism, mindfulness and internal family systems (IFS) perspective. He additionally includes values and a multicultural lens and is seasoned in the treatment of a range of difficulties including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, learning disabilities, and grief/loss in adolescents and adults. Michelle Keeney

Michelle Keeney
Dr. Michelle Keeney is a Clinical Psychologist and an O2X Resilience Specialist. Her passion for serving law enforcement professionals, first responders, and military personnel derives from the experiences she had during her 20+-year career with the United States Secret Service. She served as the agency’s sole operational psychologist, consulting on threat investigations, co-responding to persons in crisis, and conducting training on suicide assessment, de-escalation, and threat assessment and management. Dr. Keeney’s last assignment was at the Secret Service Training Center, where she collaborated on the development and delivery of agency-wide training related to personal resilience and well-being, threat assessment and management, and crisis intervention. She has witnessed personal and team transformations when individuals are given hope, provided the needed skills and information, and encouraged to succeed. During trainings, she pulls from her experiences to connect with others and encourage them to take small and impactful steps toward their goals.

Jonathan Frank

Dr. Jonathan Frank is an O2X Resilience Specialist. He earned his doctoral degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern University before joining the Air Force as an active duty psychologist where he has served for over 20 years. For the first half of his military career, he worked as a Clinical Psychologist providing counseling and outreach services to service members and their families. In the latter half of his career, he has transitioned to Operational Psychology where he has focused on leveraging his skillset to improve the performance of various high-impact military units. His areas of expertise include executive coaching, assessment and selection, leadership consultation, and performance enhancement.

Johanna Wolf

Johanna Wolf
Dr. Johanna Wolf is a Harvard Medical School trained psychologist with 20+ years of experience. She believes individuals, teams and organizations have the inherent potential to grow and maximize performance through self-awareness, the recognition of the human experience and building of resilience and emotional intelligence. She obtained her undergraduate degree in International Relations and Hispanic & Italian Studies from The Johns Hopkins University. This was followed by a Doctor of Psychology from The George Washington University. She rounded out her training with an internship at Harvard Medical School and post-doctoral training at Boston University. Since 2008, Dr. Wolf has dedicated her career to supporting the U.S. Military as a leader in psychological health and brain injury at Bethesda National Naval Medical Center and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, in addition to five + years of experience as a consultant and program manager at a global consulting firm. For the past five years, Dr. Wolf has been embedded as an operational psychologist with a Joint Special Operations Unit in the Washington DC area providing expertise to our nation’s elite men and women on maximizing individual, team and organizational performance, assessment and selection, leadership development and executive coaching as well as advising key leaders on all things psychology and human- related. She resides in Potomac, Maryland with her Psychiatrist husband, three boys and two cavpoos. In her spare time, she is earning five stars as a driver ubering her children to their various activities.

Rosie Hunter

Dr. Rosie Hunter is a clinical psychologist and a workshop specialist at O2X. In this role she focuses on resilience, operational stress, and optimizing performance under pressure to empower tactical athletes, leaders, and teams. Rosie has over 15 years specializing in anxiety and performance under pressure, including on active duty as an aeromedical psychologist in the United States Army. Rosie received a BA in psychology from Emory University and an MS and PhD in clinical psychology from Florida State University. She was awarded the Bronze Star for her service on deployment to Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division, Combat Aviation Brigade. Rosie is a former White House Intern and an alumnus of the Presidential Leadership Scholars, a program conceived by Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton to bring together bold and principled leaders committed to facing critical challenges at home and around the world. Rosie is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology. Rosie lives in McKinney, Texas.

Chris Kersten

Chris is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and board certified orthopedic clinical specialist with 9 total years of physical therapy experience. He spent four and a half of those years working with US Air Force Special Warfare. On a typical day with the Sandhogs Chris’ morning consists of performance-Based interventions in the form of blood flow restriction training and strength and conditioning programming for athletes in the rehab process. Afternoons consist of providing hands on manual therapy in the form of dry needling and spinal/joint manipulation therapies.
Originally from Kansas, Chris received his bachelor's degree at Louisiana Tech in 2010 while playing four years of collegiate baseball. After playing two years of professional baseball with the Cleveland Guardians, Chris followed his passion of human performance in the form of physical therapy, which he earned his doctorate from Southwest Baptist University in 2015. During his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Hillary, his son Griffey, and his black lab Angus. Chris’ hobbies are lifting weights, playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

Joe grew up exploring the mountains of Northern Idaho before graduating from the University of Idaho in 2005 with degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education. After becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2008 and served the university's athletic department, providing coverage for Logger football and baseball. He began his clinical career at 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy, specializing in sports outpatient orthopedics, foot and ankle rehabilitation, and running injuries, where his work with local fire, police, and sheriff’s departments first ignited his passion for working with tactical athletes. In 2019, he moved to Stuttgart, Germany, with his wife—an Active Duty Army Physician—to join the SOCOM Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program, helping develop the Human Performance program at Special Operations Command Europe. Following his return to the U.S. in 2022, he worked with Marine Special Operations Command in North Carolina before relocating to Western New York in the fall of 2025 to serve as an in-season Physical Therapist for the Buffalo Bills and launch his private practice, Valley Ridge Performance Physical Therapy, in Ellicottville. A dual Board-Certified specialist in both Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Joe is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with advanced certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulation. When he isn't in the clinic or on the sidelines, he enjoys training for endurance sports, hunting, and spending time with his wife and three young boys.

Dr. Ashley King is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Ashley received both her M.S. in Athletic Training and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. She has worked with athletes from all walks of life ranging from middle school athletes through D1 football and lacrosse players, to professional athletes in some of the major athletic programs throughout both the US and abroad. She has also had the chance to work with tactical athletes including firefighters, police officers, military personnel, and bomb squad members throughout her career, rehabbing from both surgical and overuse injuries. Ashley enjoys being able to help her patients through every stage of injury starting with prevention, immediate medical management, and finishing with return to sport or work rehabilitation. Ashley lives in Maryland with her dog, Bosco, and she enjoys spending her free time hiking, reading, and dancing. She also regularly volunteers to provide emergency medical care at the Marine Corps Marathon and other on-site athletic events.

Austin Pack

Austin K. Pack is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist, Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from PCOM-GA, Marine Infantry veteran, NSCA strength and conditioning coach, multi-state licensed PT and a family man. Dr. Austin is currently a full-time orthopedic physical therapist with ATI physical therapy and is also the founder of ALL PRIME PT & Human Performance. A hybrid physical therapy practice based in the Upstate, SC. His mission is to help ALL tactical athletes recover, sustain and perform at their PRIME potential through a blended approach of injury prevention education + rehab programming - with emphasis on rotational movement, LBP and post-op knee injuries. His ideal client/patient is anyone who wishes to live a healthier, sustainable life and extend performance during their career. His work is backed by evidence based practice, yet led by trust & connection. Dr. Austin is also a contracted Injury Prevention Specialist with O2X Human Performance.

Amanda Epps

Amanda Epps
Amanda Borges is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. For over 8 years, Amanda has been a noteworthy leader in the human performance space. Amanda has worked with professional and collegiate level athletes, the United States Military and numerous Police and Fire Departments across the country. Amanda holds a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and a Masters in Athletic Training from Northern Arizona University, and she is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Amanda also competed as a student-athlete for NCAA Division I University of the Pacific while earning her undergraduate degree.She currently resides in Colorado and enjoys challenging herself with activities including rock climbing, snowboarding, and shooting.

Rachel Oden

Rachel Oden
Rachel Oden PT, DPT, DACM, L.Ac is a former Commander in the United States Navy currently living in San Diego, California. She graduated from the Naval Academy in 1995 with a degree in Mathematics and began her career as a Surface Warfare Officer. She served as the Undersea Warfare Officer, Damage Control Assistant and Training Officer while onboard USS OLDENDORF (DD 972). While assigned to Assault Craft Unit ONE, she served as the Landing Craft Utility (LCU) Division Officer. After her first two Division Officer tours, she was accepted for a lateral transfer to the Medical Service Corps and became a physical therapist. Rachel completed her both Master’s and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees at Baylor University. Assignments included Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Training Center Pearl Harbor, USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71), Navy Branch Medical Clinics, National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and Navy Medical Center Balboa. She has deployed as both a Surface Warfare Officer and a physical therapist to include humanitarian operations onboard USNS MERCY (TAH-19) and supporting ground troops with 2nd Marine Logistics Group. She finished the last four years of her naval career as the Sports Medicine Manager and head physical therapist leading the Human Performance Program at Naval Special Warfare Center. Rachel is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She is also a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist.

Gregory Hartman is an O2X injury prevention specialist. Greg graduated from the University at Buffalo with his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2012. He is board recognized as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). While completing his degree in Buffalo, Greg was a volunteer firefighter and EMT which sparked his interest in working with tactical athletes as he saw the difficulty of the profession both mentally and physically. Greg began his career as a physical therapist outside of Ft. Campbell working with both active and retired military. He has since moved to the Northern, VA region where he has worked with a wide range of patients including professional football and baseball players, first responders, as well as high-performance and endurance athletes. He currently works full-time with a Special Operations unit in Northern, VAGreg is passionate about the science behind pain, treatment of chronic injuries, and helping people perform at their best. He believes in a well-rounded approach to health and wellness. In his personal time, he cycles between strength training, CrossFit-style workouts, and endurance sports, to include competing in Ironman distance triathlons. His team at home is composed of his wife and best friend, Deanna and their dog, “Clemmy”.

Colin Tomes

Colin Tomes
Colin Tomes is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Colin is also a Professor, PhD Candidate, Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His interest in getting 1% better every day began when he enlisted in the US Air Force, with the objective of training to join a front-line combat team. Although he was medically discharged from service for chronic training injuries, during rehabilitation, he developed an interest in learning everything he could about health, wellness and human performance. This led to a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, during which he certified not only as an ATC, but as an NSCA TSAC-F and conducted research at Bond University with the Tactical Research Unit and New South Wales Police Force.From there, he attended Physical Therapy school to earn his DPT at Bond University, conducting additional clinical and research work with the New South Wales Police and Royal New Zealand Police Academy. Colin also certified as a CSCS after PT school and is now currently a PhD Candidate at Bond University. His thesis research is focused on understanding the best applications of heart rate variability and wearable tech for tactical athlete mission and training support, as well as how HRV can be used to improve human optimization support staff efforts. This research is conducted primarily with specialist law enforcement organizations in the US and Australia. Colin’s research is matched closely with his clinical interests, which are focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation and mitigation for military, law enforcement and first responders, primarily through improved physical fitness and education.In addition to his teaching and research activities, Colin is also an energetic educator and academic advisor to students in pre-health professions. To keep this momentum up, he is a passionate consumer of espresso, loves participating in CrossFit and enjoys relaxing by a lake with his friends and family.

Jess Best

Jess Best
Jess Best is a Physical Therapist and Injury Prevention Specialist with O2X, where she has been making an impact since 2020. A Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Certified Clinical Vestibular Therapist, she brings over 15 years of specialized experience working with the military population. Her clinical focus spans concussion and brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, vestibular disorders, and a range of other neurologic conditions, with additional work in adaptive sports.
Jess is passionate about meeting patients where they are — crafting individualized, creative treatment plans that help each person reach their personal goals. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Montana and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Before entering physical therapy, Jess channeled her love of adventure as a whitewater rafting guide, leading multi-day trips along the stunning rivers of Montana and Idaho. That spirit carries into her everyday life — she can often be found hiking, running, or snowboarding, and she jumps at any opportunity to travel and immerse herself in new cultures. Outside of work, she is also a proud mama to one awesome little guy.

A Doctor of Physical Therapy, Lisa graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo and has dedicated over 15 years to advancing the field of human performance and recovery across both civilian and military sectors.
Currently, Lisa serves as a staff physical therapist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s Military Advanced Training Center (MATC). In this elite environment, she specializes in treating active-duty service members within the amputee and polytrauma populations. Beyond clinical care, Lisa leads the Physical Fitness class for the Warrior Wellness Program, where she translates high-level rehabilitation principles into group fitness and long-term wellness strategies for recovering service members.
Her clinical expertise is supported by an extensive suite of specialized certifications, including Adaptive and Inclusive Trainer Certification (AIT), Functional Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2), Battlefield Acupuncture and Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation

Deborah Sophier

Deb Sophier is an O2X Injury Prevention and Strength & Conditioning Specialist who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at Indiana University in 2006 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University in 2014. She has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2006. Deb is a Physical Therapist and works with a variety of conditions, including injuries to the shoulders, knees, feet, hips, and back. She has been performing foot and gait analyses and running evaluations, dry needling, and compression wrapping since becoming a Physical Therapist. She owns her own mobile physical therapy practice in the Chicagoland region, Sophier Physical Therapy and Performance. In addition to being a physical therapist, she enjoys being a mom to her son and bonus daughter, cycling, triathlons, baking, and travel. She has a unique understanding of law enforcement as her husband is a Police Chief in the Chicagoland area.

Nicholas Schumacher

Nick Schumacher, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS, has been a specialist with O2X since 2020, facilitating human performance workshops for tactical athletes across the country. Nick brings a high level of clinical expertise to the O2X team; he is one of only a handful of physical therapists in the United States to be Dual Board Certified in Orthopedic (OCS) and Sports (SCS) Physical Therapy, while also being Fellowship Trained (FAAOMPT).
When not on the road with O2X, Nick serves as the Head Physical Therapist for the POTFF Sports Rehab Team at SOCCENT (US Special Operations Command — Central) in Tampa, FL. In this role, he works daily with special operators from all military branches, optimizing their physical readiness and recovery. He is also the co-owner of the Tampa Running and Performance Clinic, where he specializes in elite-level run coaching and rehabilitation.
As a former Division I athlete and current elite runner, Nick translates complex sports science into actionable results. He is dedicated to helping tactical athletes embrace an "athlete’s mindset," focusing on the consistency and peak fitness required for long-term mission success and overall wellness.

Richard Westrick

Richard Westrick
Dr. Rich Westrick is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the U.S. Army – Baylor University DPT program and completed a Sports Physical Therapy residency at West Point, while earning his Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in both orthopedic physical therapy and sports physical therapy.Dr. Westrick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. While an active duty Army Physical Therapist, Rich served in multiple assignments, including several years as the physical therapist for 10th Special Forces Group and combat deployments in support of the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Arabian Peninsula.Dr. Westrick is the founder and current chair of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Tactical & Combat Athlete Special Interest Group supporting physical therapy for military, police, and firefighters, in addition to combat athletes (martial arts, wrestling, boxing).

Antigone Vesci

Antigone Vesci
Antigone is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist, Sports Certified Physical Therapy Specialist, Athletic Trainer, and the founder of ElAVate. She also is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. In 2017, she completed her Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Antigone’s work focuses on teaching and mentoring clinicians in clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. Clinically, she specializes in treating the aging athlete, as well as patients with acute or chronic spine pain. She also has a specializes in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, frequently treating and presenting to dentists and other specialists on interdisciplinary approaches to its management. Antigone lives in Glenview, IL with her husband and 2 children.

Jason Mitchler

Jason Mitchler
Dr. Jason Mitchler is an O2X Injury Prevention and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He serves as functional manager, advisor, and consultant to Buckley Space Force Base on Holistic Health, Health Promotion, Human Performance/Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and Wellness/Fitness programs for the Space Force Guardians at the United States Space Force. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Operations at the William J. Hybl Sport Medicine and Performance Center and was also an Instructor of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Jason retired from active duty in 2019 and served the majority of his Army career in operational units. His enlisted career began as an infantryman and later as a Special Forces Medic with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) while completing two tours to Afghanistan. After being commissioned as a physical therapist he was the lead during the implementation of the USASOC THOR3 program at 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During this time he oversaw the development of a comprehensive performance and rehabilitation program at Ft. Carson, CO. Following this assignment, he was selected to be the Chief of Physical Therapy at the Pentagon. His most recent deployment was as the sole physical therapist for the Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan (SOTF-A) serving both American and coalition forces. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Kinesiology and the Army Baylor program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Jason lives in Colorado Springs, CO and has two children. He is an assistant high school wrestling coach and holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In his free time he is an active cyclist, runner, and skier.

Becky McClelland

Becky McClelland
Becky McClelland is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist who received her B.A. in Athletic Training from Messiah College in 2003, M.S. in Kinesiology from University of Kentucky in 2006, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2017. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer and CSCS since 2003, and a Certified Physician Assistant since 2017.
Following her degree at the University of Kentucky and work at Monmouth University in NJ, Becky accepted a position at Boston University where she stayed for 6 years. While there, she worked as an athletic trainer with varsity and club sports teams as well as the on-campus ROTC, including all military branches. As a faculty member she taught in the undergraduate athletic training and doctorate of physical therapy programs.
Throughout her career she did multiple original research projects, becoming an expert in shoulder and scapular kinematics, kinetics, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Since becoming a PA, Becky has worked in Cardiac Surgery, Trauma & Acute Care Surgery, and currently works in Cardiac Transplant at Mass General Hospital. There, Becky is involved in surgery as well as coordinating the medical care of patients after surgery, ensuring they are prepared to live healthy lifestyles when they are discharged home. She also has a faculty appointment at the MGH Institute of Health Professions where she teaches in the PA program.
Becky is an avid runner and enjoys races of all sizes. She has volunteered at athletic events throughout the country, including the finish line of the Boston Marathon since 2003. In her free time, she enjoys being active with friends, cooking, and spending time with her multiple nieces and nephews.

Mike Donato

Mike Donato
Dr. Mike Donato is an O2X Foot and Ankle Specialist who is an owner/podiatrist at Rappahannock Foot & Ankle Specialists in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is board certified in Forefoot, and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has served as a spokesperson and as a past chairman of the managerial board for Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He has been named among Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2015, 2016 and 2017. Mike grew up in Boston and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury prior to attending Princeton University where he played baseball and hockey. He is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, California and did his residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital-VA Connecticut Healthcare System. He has a passion for sports and brings his expertise of foot and ankle mechanics and proper shoe wear utilized for various athletic/tactical activities. He is a regular medical volunteer at the Marine Corps Marathon and the other associated Marine Corps Marathon Race Events. He is a USA Hockey level 4 hockey coach and after years of being a head coach he currently serves as an assistant coach for the Piedmont Predator Youth Hockey Club. He is an avid crossfitter and hockey player who participates in masters crossfit competitions and adult hockey tournaments.

Jay Sedory

Jay Sedory is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Jay is a licensed athletic trainer for the United State Marine Corps, Tactical Medic, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Jay oversees injury prevention for martial arts, water survival, and fitness programs. Jay has been an athletic trainer for over 18 years within the tactical athlete setting. Most notably, Jay is a deployable asset for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Emergency Management Tactical Medical Branch. He is a graduate and instructor for tactical medics under the premier federally recognized program: Counter Narcotics and Terrorism Operational Medical Support (CONTOMS). As a part of this elite cadre of medical professionals, Jay is the lead instructor in sports medicine and human performance topics. Additionally, he has worked with several federal, state, and local agencies in tactical medicine operations. Jay holds a number of additional certifications in strength and conditioning: USA Weightlifting, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and Functional Movement Screening. While he excels within the Marine Corps, he is also an adjunct professor for several universities. Prior to his position with the Marine Corps, he served as the head athletic trainer at the Department of Justice. At this position he implemented a number of injury prevention programs related to heat illness, concussion, musculoskeletal injuries, and sports preparedness. He is also an accomplished professional within the profession of athletic training on national, district, and state levels. Jay is a former President of the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association where he oversaw state operations that included paid and volunteer staff, 16 committees, a budget exceeding 500k, and a membership of over 3,000 athletic trainers. He is the recipient of the Virginia Emerging Practice Setting Athletic Trainer of the Year Award in 2012.

Kyle Feldman

Kyle Feldman
Dr Kyle Feldman an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and is the National Director of ReEnvision Physical Therapy which as a company focused on improving the access and quality of physical therapy care. As of 2026 they have 26 clinics in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida. He also owns an education and consulting company, WE ARE Physiotherapy.
He is adjunct faculty at his alma mater, Shenandoah University, faculty in the VOMPTI Orthopedic Residency program, and mentors physical therapy students, residents, and fellows. He enjoys treating challenging patients with a focus on chronic pain, athletes, headaches, and spine pain.
He has mentored and taught therapists all over the world including Kenya, Ghana, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Haiti.
He completed his orthopedic residency with UVA/Virginia Orthopedic Manual Therapy- VOMPTI (OCS) in 2015, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2016, and completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) with UIC in 2017.

Michael Reinhardt

Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Mike was involved in an array of sports while growing up – football, crew, and competitive tournament paintball – which budded his passion for strength sports and performance training. Mike earned his B.S in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo.Mike is a presenter and content creator for R2P Academy, a clinician-directed continuing education company that seeks to bridge the gap along the rehab to performance continuum. Through a wide variety of coaching and clinical experiences, he has worked alongside an assortment of highly talented performance-minded health professionals. With over 10 years of strength and conditioning experience, Mike has worked with diverse populations of athletes and active individuals from both rehabilitation and performance perspectives. He has been fortunate to work with team sport athletes, firefighters, police officers, SWAT members, retired military, CrossFit, powerlifting, and weightlifting athletes. Mike has competed in Olympic Style weightlifting for the last eight years and remains heavily involved in numerous weightlifting and strength sport communities. He enjoys the beautiful complexity of the sport of weightlifting – a perfect blend of speed, strength, power, mobility, and coordination required to perform the snatch and clean and jerk at maximal potential.Mike has an intense passion for integrating strength and conditioning principles along with the intricacies of human performance and rehabilitation to help realize an individual’s true potential. Ian Manning

Ian Manning
Ian Manning is an O2X specialist who graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 with his Bachelors in Allied Health Sciences and in 2004 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. He specializes in Orthopedic injuries and in Injury prevention for all demographics and occupations. In 2008, he continued on his education path with the Titleist Performance Institute and now specializes in helping golfers improve their performance and also prevent injuries. Ian is a dry needling specialist and has been utilizing the technique since 2010. He now helps educate other health care practitioners on incorporating the treatment into their therapeutic interventions.Ian opened his own private practice in 2012 and grew the business over the next 10 years. In 2022, he merged with Performance Physical Therapy and now continues to focus on business development and implementing their growth strategy. When he isn’t treating in the clinical setting he travels to treat professional athletes and provide concierge medicine.

Jessica Visintainer

Dr. Jessica Visintainer is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in injury prevention, human performance, and return-to-duty optimization for tactical and high-performing populations. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University, where she developed a strong foundation in biomechanics, sports science, and evidence-based rehabilitation.
With a background in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Dr. Visintainer focuses on identifying movement inefficiencies, reducing injury risk, and building long-term durability. She holds advanced certifications in the Mulligan Concept, dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, BFR training, and run gait analysis, and has been published for developing home-based vestibular rehabilitation programs to expand access to care.
Dr. Visintainer is the founder of V3 Physical Therapy, an elite sports performance practice working with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. She specializes in working with field, court, endurance, and tactical athletes—individuals for whom performance is not optional. Her approach integrates advanced manual therapy, movement analysis, and sport-specific training to address not just where an athlete hurts, but why—and what it takes to return stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the demands of their role.
Her current work includes the development and implementation of neurocognitive performance programming focused on improving dual-tasking capacity in both athletes and aging populations. This includes identifying subtle deficits that may not be captured in standard concussion screening, with the goal of optimizing return-to-play readiness, reducing residual cognitive deficits, and enhancing decision-making and performance under load.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Visintainer serves as a public speaker delivering education on injury prevention, resilience, and performance optimization. When she is not supporting her athletes, Dr. Visintainer is an endurance multisport athlete with a background in Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, providing firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands of high-performance environments.

Tiffany Sheffield

Tiffany Sheffield is an O2X injury prevention specialist. Tiffany graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY., with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Sports Science. She has worked with various populations to include but not limited to veterans, active duty, firefighters, horse trainers, equestrians, paramedics and pro-athletes. Her primary focus has been in the outpatient setting where she has effectively treated conditions including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, vestibular dysfunction, post-concussion syndrome, post/pre-operative, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Tiffany provides a holistic and comprehensive approach to achieve maximum recovery and performance to minimize long term pain and impairments. She believes in treating the patient as a whole and is passionate about providing an individualized plan of care. The military is near and dear to her heart. Her father served in the United States Army, her brother served in the United States Marine Corps, and her husband served in the United States Navy.

Alexa Bannerman

Alexa Bannerman is an injury prevention specialist with O2X with 14 years of progressive sports medicine experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida, and a Master’s in Science in Sport Fitness Management from Troy University. Alexa is currently working as a contracted ATC with Naval Special Warfare in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to transitioning to the tactical athlete, Alexa spent most her career in Division I athletics. Alexa possesses a strong clinical skills, with specialty in myofascial therapies, Functional Dry Needling, post-operative rehab, and innovative return to duty rehabilitation. Born and raised in Michigan, Alexa is a Midwest girl at heart. She is an intrinsically motivated lifelong learner who loves working with like-minded individuals. In her free time, Alexa enjoys weight lifting, eating, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and their three crazy kids!

Joe Cavallaro

Joe Cavallaro
Joe is Doctor of Physical Therapy who owns a private practice, Full Spectrum Physical Therapy & Performance, based in southern New Hampshire and currently provides guidance in injury prevention and management with the Health & Ladders program at the Boston Fire Department.
Prior to working with the Boston Fire Department Joe worked with O2X as an Integrated Human Performance Specialist with the Massachusetts National Guard. In this role he helped to coordinate injury prevention and management between individual Soldiers and leadership at multiple organizational levels to facilitate readiness, reduce risk in training and promote positive training opportunities for Soldiers managing new or chronic injuries.
He is a 2013 graduate of Northeastern University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and USA Triathlon coach. Some of his experience include work with the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, the Premier Lacrosse League and professional triathletes based out of New England. After his time with the NBA Joe moved to the private practice world where he continued to work with high school, collegiate and professional athletes and first responders developing multidisciplinary relationships across the medical and performance worlds to help athletes and first responders succeed with return to sport or duty.
Outside of the clinical world Joe is an adjunct faculty member at Merrimack College and Nashua Community College where he teaches courses in Anatomy and Physiology and Therapeutic Exercise to future health care leaders. Joe lives in Hollis, NH with his wife Katherine and their two boys. He is a triathlete and avid outdoor enthusiast, active in several running and triathlon clubs, and can be found year-round in the White Mountains of New Hampshire hiking, ski touring or climbing rock and ice.

Vickie Dills

Vickie Dills is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1999 and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons College. Vickie embraces the concept of evidence-based rehabilitation. In treating physical therapy patients, she draws upon current research to incorporate scientifically validated methods into her daily practice. In March 2016, she co-authored an article titled “Return to Play Following Sports Hernia Surgery”, which was published in “Clinics in Sports Medicine”.Vickie is also a licensed private pilot and a certified SCUBA diver. Prior to pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, she worked in a trauma center operating room under the direction of the anesthesia department. Vickie served as an active duty Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. She holds numerous certifications, including Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Certified HawkGrips Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Specialist, Certified ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT), Certified Strength and Agility Coach (CSAC), Dry Needling for Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sport Performance, and Training for Warriors Instructor Certified, among others.

Maria Urso

Dr. Maria Urso is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Dr. Urso is a scientific advocate for optimal health and nutrition. She followed her passion for science and health and obtained her PhD in human physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While that degree led her to a career as a scientist, first as an Active Duty soldier in the Army, then in Medical Affairs for industry, she continues to follow her passion for health and nutrition by serving as an advocate and educator. Her philosophy is that nutrition and fitness should be for life, not a single event (or outfit). To do this, we need to follow scientifically-sound and sustainable practices, not the latest story or fad from the media. Maria uses her education in biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition, as well as personal experiences with competitive running, to develop nutrition and exercise plans that make sense and allow her ‘students’ to eat and train for life. She understands that this is an ever-changing field, and staying on top of the latest research is critical. She has published over 30 papers in scientific journals and several book chapters, but she is most comfortable when using her scientific background to write or speak about nutrition and fitness practices. In her free time, Maria loves to run, swim, hike, adventure travel, and read.

Erik Bustillo is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and serves as the first Performance Dietitian for the United States Navy’s Human Performance Optimization (HPO) initiative. He is a Registered Dietitian and former Vice President, ambassador, and fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Erik is also a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the ISSN, a Certified Strength Coach through the National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF), and a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
He specializes in reading and understanding blood/lab values that have a direct effect on human physiology and one’s ability to perform. Several fields of expertise include energy improvement, performance recovery, weight loss, working with professional/elite athletes, stress management, inspirational communication, mindset, and habit change. Erik has been in the field for over 15 years and knows that nutrition is an elemental factor in well-being & performance; he has been and is currently involved in conducting research studies. He has worked with tactical athletes throughout his entire career and never plans to stop.
His mission is to make this world a better place, and he strives to accomplish this by helping others achieve their health and life goals. He believes that with hard work and determination, everyone is capable of accomplishing what they set their mind to. He enjoys training on a regular basis, as he feels what we do in fitness (the weight room, gym, field, etc.) translates to the real world. Erik practices this by playing sports, getting outdoors, high-intensity training, weightlifting, CrossFit™, and improving his aerobic fitness by running and chasing his dog. Patrick McCarthy is an O2X Nutrition specialist who specializes in performance nutrition and has a background in both sport and exercise science and nutrition. Alongside this, Patrick has 10+ years’ of experience as a basketball coach and 5 years as a semi-professional player in Ireland. His coaching experience has provided him with the ability to communicate effectively to athletes of all types. On the other hand, his athletic career provided first-hand experience of the importance of nutrition, training, recovery and all the other 1% details required for optimal performance. In 2018, he was appointed as the senior nutritionist for a top level football club and has been working with high-performance athletes ever since.Patrick has a passion for bridging the worlds of science and coaching by breaking down evidence-based science to practical and actionable information. He believes that now more than ever, we are what we eat. He strives to help improve peoples’ understanding of what their body requires on a daily basis not only to function, but to excel in training and performance. From this, one’s confidence improves in situations where physical fitness, endurance, strength and recovery are critical. Patrick currently hosts a nutrition-related podcast called The Ubuntu Nutrition Podcast, where he strives to complete the goals mentioned above. The term ‘Ubuntu’ is an ancient Zulu phrase that is loosely translated to ‘I am because we are’. It places an emphasis on a family, team approach to everything. Tiffany Batsakis
Tiffany Batsakis is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and Registered Dietitian. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and completed her dietetic internship there as well. She served in the United States Army for six years. As a result, she is familiar with the needs of the tactical athlete and maintains a high level of physical fitness in her day to day life. Upon completion of her degree, Tiffany worked for the non-profit organization, Meals on Wheels of San Antonio, where she planned the menu and conducted nutrition analysis for the meals served to over 3,800 homebound seniors daily. While at the organization, she counseled clients, worked with kitchen staff and food vendors, maintained the site’s blog, conducted surveys, and mentored student interns. In 2016, Tiffany left her job to travel, mostly in Asia, for two years. When she returned, she started her own business as a consultant and contract dietitian, with a focus on healthy living, nutritious meal plans for clients, menu planning and nutritionanalysis for various organizations, and general nutrition education classes tailored to the client. Tiffany has worked in a variety of settings, including one of the largest grocers in Texas, HEB. As a retail dietitian, she counseled clients and helped shoppers find quality food products, meal ideas, and nutritious recipes. She has also taught Cooking and Nutrition in Recovery (from substance use disorders) at addiction treatment centers, including one facility that caters specifically to active military, veterans, and firefighters in recovery.As a registered dietitian, Tiffany has a passion for health and wellness and is also a personal trainer. She remains active in her daily life, conducts weekly workouts with members of the fire department, and enjoys the outdoors. She earned a certificate in Topics in Human Behavior at Harvard Extension School and feels behavior change is a very helpful way to improve nutrition outcomes. She is a member of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), and belongs to different dietetic practice groups including, CV Wellness, and the Behavioral Health Nutrition Group through the AND. She has also attended various sports and nutrition symposiums and stays up to date with the latest and greatest in the world of nutrition via webinars, conferences, and training events.

Samantha Poccia

Samantha Poccia
Samantha is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Prior to her time at O2X, Samantha worked in market research for several years. During that time, she collaborated and built relationships with Fortune 500 companies to connect them to their consumers through private on-line communities. She also had the opportunity to work on global accounts in Australia and New Zealand, traveling there to meet with the clients.Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University in 2013. While there, she competed on the Club Women’s Ice Hockey team and was the co-captain her senior year. She decided to change career paths and went back to school in 2017 to become a Registered Dietitian. She received her Master of Nutrition from Simmons University, as well as a Certificate in Sports Nutrition and a Certificate in Integrative Functional Nutrition. While completing her M.S., Samantha researched and co-authored an article investigating the behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs of pregnant women as it relates to their nutrition and supplementation. Her research has been published in Nutrition and Health Journal.Samantha enjoys running and has completed three marathons and two half-marathons, with her eyes set on more in the future. For the past 8 years she’s been a Lagree and spin fitness instructor in Boston, teaching at SLT and Equinox, respectively. In her free time, Samantha enjoys being with friends and family, including her new nephew, watching movies and shows, reading new books, spending as much time outside as she can, and traveling to new places.

Chloe Schweinshaut is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and registered dietitian who owns a private practice, Riverside Nutrition, in Cambridge, MA. She works with a variety of clients looking to improve their health through diet and lifestyle, with a particular focus on first responder nutrition.
Drawing on both professional experience and personal connection, Chloe specializes in supporting the unique demands of first responders, helping them optimize performance, resilience, and long-term health in high-stress environments. She has worked with departments including the Boston Fire Department, New York Fire Department, Cambridge Fire Department, and Boston Police Department, as well as numerous other police, fire, and ambulance services across the country to support healthier lifestyles and address concerns such as weight loss, cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Andrea Givens, MS, RD, CSSD, is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Andrea has been a Registered Dietitian for over a decade and is a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She attended San Diego State University for undergrad and completed her dietetic internship through California State University, Sacramento in 2010. Andrea spent her early career building a strong foundation in dietetics working as a clinical dietitian in acute care, including serving veterans as a clinical dietitian at the VA. Transitioning into sports nutrition around 2015, she worked with recreational endurance and CrossFit athletes, Division I collegiate athletes at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, spent the 2018 MLB season as a Sports Science Intern for the San Francisco Giants, and was a Sports Nutrition Fellow for USA Volleyball during an Olympic qualifying year (2019).Andrea returned to school and earned master’s degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology concurrently from San Diego State University in 2020. During her graduate program, she began working in human performance research for the military and published data on metabolic demands of cold-water diving in Naval Special Warfare operators.In addition to providing nutrition expertise to O2X tactical athletes nationwide, Andrea currently works on a physiology team in the Warfighter Performance Department of Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, conducting operationally relevant research to optimize readiness in military personnel. She also volunteers on the Research and Education Committee for the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitian Association and is a member of the Sports and Human Performance Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.A California native, Andrea is an avid outdoor athlete and has crossed the finish line of numerous half marathons, triathlons, 10Ks, summited Half Dome, and swam from Alcatraz. Kelli Reese is a Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition and O2X Nutrition Specialist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio University, her dietetic internship at The University of Akron and her master’s degree in nutrition from Arizona State University. Kelli has been a dietitian since 2010 and has worked in numerous areas of nutrition and healthcare including hospitals, long term care facilities, gyms and a halfway house for drug and alcohol recovery, but her real passion lies in sports nutrition. In the past few years Kelli has worked with an array of athletes including competitive powerlifters, military tactical athletes, high school and adult athletes, runners and triathletes. In addition to her Kelli role as O2X Nutrition Specialist, she is a Clinical Dietitian and Wellness Coach at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and in 2021 opened her own sports nutrition practice: Inso Sports Nutrition. She is the current (2022) President of the Greater Cleveland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and was voted Ohio’s 2020 Recognized Dietitian of the Year by the Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for her significant contribution to the profession of dieteticsAs an athlete, (having played rugby for seven years before switching to running marathons and half marathons) and personal trainer, Kelli is familiar with the challenges athletes and tactical athletes face on a daily basis. Laura Moretti Reece is an O2X Nutrition Specialist who completed her Master’s Degree in clinical nutrition as well as her didactic program in clinical dietetics at New York University. She previously worked as the Primary Nutrition Therapist at Columbus Park Collaborative and Appleman Nutrition in New York City before relocating to Boston in 2015 to join the Female Athlete Program and Sports Medicine/Orthopedics Team at Boston Children’s Hospital.As a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Laura specializes in sports performance-based nutrition, as well as treating low energy availability, disordered eating, and eating disorders in athletes. Laura has an extensive amount of experience in consulting and collaborating with Olympic and professional athletes, local colleges and universities, as well as professional sport and dance facilities. She is the consulting dietitian for the Boston Ballet Company and Schools, US Rowing, and is an instructor at the Institute for Rowing Leadership in Boston.Laura previously served as the Co-Chair of the International Academy of Eating Disorders Sport and Exercise Special Interest Group, as well as the co-chair of the Boston Children’s Hospital Female Athlete Conference. Laura is also the owner of a Boston based private group practice Laura Moretti Nutrition LLC. She is also a competitive triathlete and a two-time Boston Marathon qualifier and finisher.

Dr. Nick Barringer is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Nick currently researches and serves as an assistant professor at the United States Military Academy. Previously while working at the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine he researched Warfighter nutritional requirements in differing environments to include deployed Special Operators. Prior to that, he taught performance nutrition at the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition. Nick served in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a member of the Ranger Athlete Warrior (RAW) program where he oversaw the nutrition and aspects of the physical training of Rangers.Nick received his undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia, his master of science in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate in kinesiology from Texas A&M.Nick is passionate about improving nutrition and performance in tactical athletes and has the unique perspective of a researcher, teacher, and practitioner who has gone through physically demanding courses such as Ranger School, Survival Evasion Resistance Escape (SERE), Airborne, Air Assault as well as having deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan so he best understands both the academic and applied demands of the tactical athlete. Sean Spanbauer is a Sport and Tactical Performance Dietitian and retired Army Officer with over 25 years of service. He is no stranger to the human performance industry, having spent 11 years as a personal trainer and 12+ years as a performance dietitian working with world class athletes and the Army’s Special Forces Operators. Prior to his current position, Sean spent a significant portion of his career as an educator, training military healthcare providers as well as working in a clinical setting as an in-patient and out-patient dietitian. He spent 12 months as a Sports Dietitian Fellow with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOCP) assigned to work with a variety of athletes and sports teams. For the last 7 years, Sean has been the owner/operator of Nurti-Sean Sports Nutrition Consulting, working with the USOCP, multiple NGBs, various college athletic departments, sports performance organizations, and first responders.In addition to being a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Sean is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She currently serves as a Performance Dietitian at the Intrepid Spirit Center at Fort Belvoir, where she provides integrative, evidence-based nutrition support to active-duty service members managing traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She also works with O2X Human Performance, delivering science-backed nutrition education to tactical athletes across military, federal, and public safety populations.
Deanna’s career spans collegiate athletics, healthcare, and private practice. She spent nearly a decade as a Sports Dietitian at George Mason University, supporting Division I student-athletes through medical nutrition therapy, performance fueling strategies, and interdisciplinary care. She continues her work at the university as a Senior Fellow in the Center for the Advancement of Wellbeing and as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Sport and Exercise Nutrition. Her additional experience includes dietetic roles in an orthopaedics and physical therapy practice, hospital-based clinical nutrition, and consulting with athletes and individuals managing complex conditions such as eating disorders, RED-S, and nutrient deficiencies.
Deanna is passionate about translating science into practical strategies that enhance health, resilience, and performance. Dorette Franks, MS, RDN, is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. As a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Dorette graduated with honors, earning a Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University, completed a dietetic internship through Iowa State University, received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from San Francisco State University, and holds coaching certifications on behalf of USA Triathlon and USA Track & Field.Dorette has worked in the field of nutrition and human performance since 2004. Following the completion of her first Ironman New Zealand in 2001, she quickly established her career as an endurance coach. In 2005, she led as head coach for the San Francisco Nike Women’s Marathon and has continued to coach runners and triathletes to successful Boston Marathon qualifications and Ironman finishes. Dorette is a six-time Ironman finisher, placing 1st in division and 3rd overall female at the Full Vineman, division winner at Ultraman Canada, a three-time Boston Marathon qualifier/racer, and represented Team USA at the USA Triathlon Long Course World Championship. As a clinical sports dietitian she’s worked alongside cardiologists, exercise physiologists, strength trainers, and coaches integrating nutrition support to ultra-cyclists, ultra-runners, and triathletes as they face the most rigorous endurance events, including the Race Across America (RAAM), the Ultraman World Championship, the Ironman triathlon. Amanda Borges is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. For over 8 years, Amanda has been a noteworthy leader in the human performance space. Amanda has worked with professional and collegiate level athletes, the United States Military and numerous Police and Fire Departments across the country. Amanda holds a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and a Masters in Athletic Training from Northern Arizona University, and she is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Amanda also competed as a student-athlete for NCAA Division I University of the Pacific while earning her undergraduate degree.She currently resides in Colorado and enjoys challenging herself with activities including rock climbing, snowboarding, and shooting.

Rachel Oden

Rachel Oden
Rachel Oden PT, DPT, DACM, L.Ac is a former Commander in the United States Navy currently living in San Diego, California. She graduated from the Naval Academy in 1995 with a degree in Mathematics and began her career as a Surface Warfare Officer. She served as the Undersea Warfare Officer, Damage Control Assistant and Training Officer while onboard USS OLDENDORF (DD 972). While assigned to Assault Craft Unit ONE, she served as the Landing Craft Utility (LCU) Division Officer. After her first two Division Officer tours, she was accepted for a lateral transfer to the Medical Service Corps and became a physical therapist. Rachel completed her both Master’s and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees at Baylor University. Assignments included Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Training Center Pearl Harbor, USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71), Navy Branch Medical Clinics, National Naval Medical Center Bethesda and Navy Medical Center Balboa. She has deployed as both a Surface Warfare Officer and a physical therapist to include humanitarian operations onboard USNS MERCY (TAH-19) and supporting ground troops with 2nd Marine Logistics Group. She finished the last four years of her naval career as the Sports Medicine Manager and head physical therapist leading the Human Performance Program at Naval Special Warfare Center. Rachel is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She is also a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist.

Gregory Hartman

Gregory Hartman
Gregory Hartman is an O2X injury prevention specialist. Greg graduated from the University at Buffalo with his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2012. He is board recognized as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). While completing his degree in Buffalo, Greg was a volunteer firefighter and EMT which sparked his interest in working with tactical athletes as he saw the difficulty of the profession both mentally and physically. Greg began his career as a physical therapist outside of Ft. Campbell working with both active and retired military. He has since moved to the Northern, VA region where he has worked with a wide range of patients including professional football and baseball players, first responders, as well as high-performance and endurance athletes. He currently works full-time with a Special Operations unit in Northern, VAGreg is passionate about the science behind pain, treatment of chronic injuries, and helping people perform at their best. He believes in a well-rounded approach to health and wellness. In his personal time, he cycles between strength training, CrossFit-style workouts, and endurance sports, to include competing in Ironman distance triathlons. His team at home is composed of his wife and best friend, Deanna and their dog, “Clemmy”.

Colin Tomes

Colin Tomes is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Colin is also a Professor, PhD Candidate, Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His interest in getting 1% better every day began when he enlisted in the US Air Force, with the objective of training to join a front-line combat team. Although he was medically discharged from service for chronic training injuries, during rehabilitation, he developed an interest in learning everything he could about health, wellness and human performance. This led to a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, during which he certified not only as an ATC, but as an NSCA TSAC-F and conducted research at Bond University with the Tactical Research Unit and New South Wales Police Force.From there, he attended Physical Therapy school to earn his DPT at Bond University, conducting additional clinical and research work with the New South Wales Police and Royal New Zealand Police Academy. Colin also certified as a CSCS after PT school and is now currently a PhD Candidate at Bond University. His thesis research is focused on understanding the best applications of heart rate variability and wearable tech for tactical athlete mission and training support, as well as how HRV can be used to improve human optimization support staff efforts. This research is conducted primarily with specialist law enforcement organizations in the US and Australia. Colin’s research is matched closely with his clinical interests, which are focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation and mitigation for military, law enforcement and first responders, primarily through improved physical fitness and education.In addition to his teaching and research activities, Colin is also an energetic educator and academic advisor to students in pre-health professions. Jess Best is a Physical Therapist and Injury Prevention Specialist with O2X, where she has been making an impact since 2020. A Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Certified Clinical Vestibular Therapist, she brings over 15 years of specialized experience working with the military population. Her clinical focus spans concussion and brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, vestibular disorders, and a range of other neurologic conditions, with additional work in adaptive sports.
Jess is passionate about meeting patients where they are — crafting individualized, creative treatment plans that help each person reach their personal goals. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Montana and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Before entering physical therapy, Jess channeled her love of adventure as a whitewater rafting guide, leading multi-day trips along the stunning rivers of Montana and Idaho. That spirit carries into her everyday life — she can often be found hiking, running, or snowboarding, and she jumps at any opportunity to travel and immerse herself in new cultures. Outside of work, she is also a proud mama to one awesome little guy.

Lisa Prasso is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and a leading clinical expert in the rehabilitation of complex orthopedic trauma. A Doctor of Physical Therapy, Lisa graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo and has dedicated over 15 years to advancing the field of human performance and recovery across both civilian and military sectors.
Currently, Lisa serves as a staff physical therapist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s Military Advanced Training Center (MATC). In this elite environment, she specializes in treating active-duty service members within the amputee and polytrauma populations. Beyond clinical care, Lisa leads the Physical Fitness class for the Warrior Wellness Program, where she translates high-level rehabilitation principles into group fitness and long-term wellness strategies for recovering service members.

Deborah Sophier

Deborah Sophier
Deb Sophier is an O2X Injury Prevention and Strength & Conditioning Specialist who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at Indiana University in 2006 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Midwestern University in 2014. She has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2006. Deb is a Physical Therapist and works with a variety of conditions, including injuries to the shoulders, knees, feet, hips, and back. She has been performing foot and gait analyses and running evaluations, dry needling, and compression wrapping since becoming a Physical Therapist. She owns her own mobile physical therapy practice in the Chicagoland region, Sophier Physical Therapy and Performance. In addition to being a physical therapist, she enjoys being a mom to her son and bonus daughter, cycling, triathlons, baking, and travel. She has a unique understanding of law enforcement as her husband is a Police Chief in the Chicagoland area.

Nicholas Schumacher

Nicholas Schumacher
Nick Schumacher, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS, has been a specialist with O2X since 2020, facilitating human performance workshops for tactical athletes across the country. Nick brings a high level of clinical expertise to the O2X team; he is one of only a handful of physical therapists in the United States to be Dual Board Certified in Orthopedic (OCS) and Sports (SCS) Physical Therapy, while also being Fellowship Trained (FAAOMPT).
When not on the road with O2X, Nick serves as the Head Physical Therapist for the POTFF Sports Rehab Team at SOCCENT (US Special Operations Command — Central) in Tampa, FL. In this role, he works daily with special operators from all military branches, optimizing their physical readiness and recovery. He is also the co-owner of the Tampa Running and Performance Clinic, where he specializes in elite-level run coaching and rehabilitation.
As a former Division I athlete and current elite runner, Nick translates complex sports science into actionable results. He is dedicated to helping tactical athletes embrace an "athlete’s mindset," focusing on the consistency and peak fitness required for long-term mission success and overall wellness.

Richard Westrick

Richard Westrick
Dr. Rich Westrick is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the U.S. Army – Baylor University DPT program and completed a Sports Physical Therapy residency at West Point, while earning his Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in both orthopedic physical therapy and sports physical therapy.Dr. Westrick is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. While an active duty Army Physical Therapist, Rich served in multiple assignments, including several years as the physical therapist for 10th Special Forces Group and combat deployments in support of the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Arabian Peninsula.Dr. Westrick is the founder and current chair of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Tactical & Combat Athlete Special Interest Group supporting physical therapy for military, police, and firefighters, in addition to combat athletes (martial arts, wrestling, boxing).

Antigone Vesci

Antigone Vesci
Antigone is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist, Sports Certified Physical Therapy Specialist, Athletic Trainer, and the founder of ElAVate. She also is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. In 2017, she completed her Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Antigone’s work focuses on teaching and mentoring clinicians in clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. Clinically, she specializes in treating the aging athlete, as well as patients with acute or chronic spine pain. She also has a specializes in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, frequently treating and presenting to dentists and other specialists on interdisciplinary approaches to its management. Antigone lives in Glenview, IL with her husband and 2 children.

Jason Mitchler

Jason Mitchler
Dr. Jason Mitchler is an O2X Injury Prevention and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He serves as functional manager, advisor, and consultant to Buckley Space Force Base on Holistic Health, Health Promotion, Human Performance/Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and Wellness/Fitness programs for the Space Force Guardians at the United States Space Force. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Operations at the William J. Hybl Sport Medicine and Performance Center and was also an Instructor of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Jason retired from active duty in 2019 and served the majority of his Army career in operational units. His enlisted career began as an infantryman and later as a Special Forces Medic with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) while completing two tours to Afghanistan. After being commissioned as a physical therapist he was the lead during the implementation of the USASOC THOR3 program at 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During this time he oversaw the development of a comprehensive performance and rehabilitation program at Ft. Carson, CO. Following this assignment, he was selected to be the Chief of Physical Therapy at the Pentagon. His most recent deployment was as the sole physical therapist for the Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan (SOTF-A) serving both American and coalition forces. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Kinesiology and the Army Baylor program with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Jason lives in Colorado Springs, CO and has two children. He is an assistant high school wrestling coach and holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In his free time he is an active cyclist, runner, and skier.

Becky McClelland

Becky McClelland
Becky McClelland is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist who received her B.A. in Athletic Training from Messiah College in 2003, M.S. in Kinesiology from University of Kentucky in 2006, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2017. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer and CSCS since 2003, and a Certified Physician Assistant since 2017.
Following her degree at the University of Kentucky and work at Monmouth University in NJ, Becky accepted a position at Boston University where she stayed for 6 years. While there, she worked as an athletic trainer with varsity and club sports teams as well as the on-campus ROTC, including all military branches. As a faculty member she taught in the undergraduate athletic training and doctorate of physical therapy programs.
Throughout her career she did multiple original research projects, becoming an expert in shoulder and scapular kinematics, kinetics, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Since becoming a PA, Becky has worked in Cardiac Surgery, Trauma & Acute Care Surgery, and currently works in Cardiac Transplant at Mass General Hospital. There, Becky is involved in surgery as well as coordinating the medical care of patients after surgery, ensuring they are prepared to live healthy lifestyles when they are discharged home. She also has a faculty appointment at the MGH Institute of Health Professions where she teaches in the PA program.
Becky is an avid runner and enjoys races of all sizes. She has volunteered at athletic events throughout the country, including the finish line of the Boston Marathon since 2003. In her free time, she enjoys being active with friends, cooking, and spending time with her multiple nieces and nephews.

Mike Donato

Mike Donato
Dr. Mike Donato is an O2X Foot and Ankle Specialist who is an owner/podiatrist at Rappahannock Foot & Ankle Specialists in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is board certified in Forefoot, and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has served as a spokesperson and as a past chairman of the managerial board for Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He has been named among Northern Virginia Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2015, 2016 and 2017. Mike grew up in Boston and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury prior to attending Princeton University where he played baseball and hockey. He is a graduate of the California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, California and did his residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital-VA Connecticut Healthcare System. He has a passion for sports and brings his expertise of foot and ankle mechanics and proper shoe wear utilized for various athletic/tactical activities. He is a regular medical volunteer at the Marine Corps Marathon and the other associated Marine Corps Marathon Race Events. He is a USA Hockey level 4 hockey coach and after years of being a head coach he currently serves as an assistant coach for the Piedmont Predator Youth Hockey Club. He is an avid crossfitter and hockey player who participates in masters crossfit competitions and adult hockey tournaments.

Jay Sedory

Jay Sedory
Jay Sedory is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Jay is a licensed athletic trainer for the United State Marine Corps, Tactical Medic, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. Jay oversees injury prevention for martial arts, water survival, and fitness programs. Jay has been an athletic trainer for over 18 years within the tactical athlete setting. Most notably, Jay is a deployable asset for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Emergency Management Tactical Medical Branch. He is a graduate and instructor for tactical medics under the premier federally recognized program: Counter Narcotics and Terrorism Operational Medical Support (CONTOMS). As a part of this elite cadre of medical professionals, Jay is the lead instructor in sports medicine and human performance topics. Additionally, he has worked with several federal, state, and local agencies in tactical medicine operations. Jay holds a number of additional certifications in strength and conditioning: USA Weightlifting, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Tactical Strength and Conditioning, and Functional Movement Screening. While he excels within the Marine Corps, he is also an adjunct professor for several universities. Prior to his position with the Marine Corps, he served as the head athletic trainer at the Department of Justice. At this position he implemented a number of injury prevention programs related to heat illness, concussion, musculoskeletal injuries, and sports preparedness. He is also an accomplished professional within the profession of athletic training on national, district, and state levels. Jay is a former President of the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association where he oversaw state operations that included paid and volunteer staff, 16 committees, a budget exceeding 500k, and a membership of over 3,000 athletic trainers. He is the recipient of the Virginia Emerging Practice Setting Athletic Trainer of the Year Award in 2012.

Kyle Feldman

Kyle Feldman
Dr Kyle Feldman an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and is the National Director of ReEnvision Physical Therapy which as a company focused on improving the access and quality of physical therapy care. As of 2026 they have 26 clinics in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida. He also owns an education and consulting company, WE ARE Physiotherapy.
He is adjunct faculty at his alma mater, Shenandoah University, faculty in the VOMPTI Orthopedic Residency program, and mentors physical therapy students, residents, and fellows. He enjoys treating challenging patients with a focus on chronic pain, athletes, headaches, and spine pain.
He has mentored and taught therapists all over the world including Kenya, Ghana, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Haiti.
He completed his orthopedic residency with UVA/Virginia Orthopedic Manual Therapy- VOMPTI (OCS) in 2015, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2016, and completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) with UIC in 2017.
He lives in Winchester, VA with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include playing sports, working out, golfing, cooking, brewing beer, and hiking.

Michael Reinhardt

Michael Reinhardt is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Mike was involved in an array of sports while growing up – football, crew, and competitive tournament paintball – which budded his passion for strength sports and performance training. Mike earned his B.S in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo.Mike is a presenter and content creator for R2P Academy, a clinician-directed continuing education company that seeks to bridge the gap along the rehab to performance continuum. Through a wide variety of coaching and clinical experiences, he has worked alongside an assortment of highly talented performance-minded health professionals. With over 10 years of strength and conditioning experience, Mike has worked with diverse populations of athletes and active individuals from both rehabilitation and performance perspectives. He has been fortunate to work with team sport athletes, firefighters, police officers, SWAT members, retired military, CrossFit, powerlifting, and weightlifting athletes. Mike has competed in Olympic Style weightlifting for the last eight years and remains heavily involved in numerous weightlifting and strength sport communities. He enjoys the beautiful complexity of the sport of weightlifting – a perfect blend of speed, strength, power, mobility, and coordination required to perform the snatch and clean and jerk at maximal potential.Mike has an intense passion for integrating strength and conditioning principles along with the intricacies of human performance and rehabilitation to help realize an individual’s true potential. Ian Manning

Ian Manning
Ian Manning is an O2X specialist who graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 with his Bachelors in Allied Health Sciences and in 2004 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. He specializes in Orthopedic injuries and in Injury prevention for all demographics and occupations. In 2008, he continued on his education path with the Titleist Performance Institute and now specializes in helping golfers improve their performance and also prevent injuries. Ian is a dry needling specialist and has been utilizing the technique since 2010. He now helps educate other health care practitioners on incorporating the treatment into their therapeutic interventions.Ian opened his own private practice in 2012 and grew the business over the next 10 years. In 2022, he merged with Performance Physical Therapy and now continues to focus on business development and implementing their growth strategy. When he isn’t treating in the clinical setting he travels to treat professional athletes and provide concierge medicine.

Jessica Visintainer

Dr. Jessica Visintainer is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist and Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in injury prevention, human performance, and return-to-duty optimization for tactical and high-performing populations. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University, where she developed a strong foundation in biomechanics, sports science, and evidence-based rehabilitation.
With a background in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Dr. Visintainer focuses on identifying movement inefficiencies, reducing injury risk, and building long-term durability. She holds advanced certifications in the Mulligan Concept, dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, BFR training, and run gait analysis, and has been published for developing home-based vestibular rehabilitation programs to expand access to care.
Dr. Visintainer is the founder of V3 Physical Therapy, an elite sports performance practice working with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. She specializes in working with field, court, endurance, and tactical athletes—individuals for whom performance is not optional. Her approach integrates advanced manual therapy, movement analysis, and sport-specific training to address not just where an athlete hurts, but why—and what it takes to return stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the demands of their role.
Her current work includes the development and implementation of neurocognitive performance programming focused on improving dual-tasking capacity in both athletes and aging populations. This includes identifying subtle deficits that may not be captured in standard concussion screening, with the goal of optimizing return-to-play readiness, reducing residual cognitive deficits, and enhancing decision-making and performance under load.

Tiffany Sheffield

Tiffany Sheffield
Tiffany Sheffield is an O2X injury prevention specialist. Tiffany graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY., with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Sports Science. She has worked with various populations to include but not limited to veterans, active duty, firefighters, horse trainers, equestrians, paramedics and pro-athletes. Her primary focus has been in the outpatient setting where she has effectively treated conditions including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, vestibular dysfunction, post-concussion syndrome, post/pre-operative, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Tiffany provides a holistic and comprehensive approach to achieve maximum recovery and performance to minimize long term pain and impairments. She believes in treating the patient as a whole and is passionate about providing an individualized plan of care. The military is near and dear to her heart. Her father served in the United States Army, her brother served in the United States Marine Corps, and her husband served in the United States Navy.

Alexa Bannerman

Alexa Bannerman
Alexa Bannerman is an injury prevention specialist with O2X with 14 years of progressive sports medicine experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida, and a Master’s in Science in Sport Fitness Management from Troy University. Alexa is currently working as a contracted ATC with Naval Special Warfare in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Prior to transitioning to the tactical athlete, Alexa spent most her career in Division I athletics. Alexa possesses a strong clinical skills, with specialty in myofascial therapies, Functional Dry Needling, post-operative rehab, and innovative return to duty rehabilitation. Born and raised in Michigan, Alexa is a Midwest girl at heart. She is an intrinsically motivated lifelong learner who loves working with like-minded individuals. In her free time, Alexa enjoys weight lifting, eating, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and their three crazy kids!

Joe Cavallaro

Joe Cavallaro
Joe is Doctor of Physical Therapy who owns a private practice, Full Spectrum Physical Therapy & Performance, based in southern New Hampshire and currently provides guidance in injury prevention and management with the Health & Ladders program at the Boston Fire Department.
Prior to working with the Boston Fire Department Joe worked with O2X as an Integrated Human Performance Specialist with the Massachusetts National Guard. In this role he helped to coordinate injury prevention and management between individual Soldiers and leadership at multiple organizational levels to facilitate readiness, reduce risk in training and promote positive training opportunities for Soldiers managing new or chronic injuries.
He is a 2013 graduate of Northeastern University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and USA Triathlon coach. Some of his experience include work with the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, the Premier Lacrosse League and professional triathletes based out of New England. After his time with the NBA Joe moved to the private practice world where he continued to work with high school, collegiate and professional athletes and first responders developing multidisciplinary relationships across the medical and performance worlds to help athletes and first responders succeed with return to sport or duty.
Outside of the clinical world Joe is an adjunct faculty member at Merrimack College and Nashua Community College where he teaches courses in Anatomy and Physiology and Therapeutic Exercise to future health care leaders. Joe lives in Hollis, NH with his wife Katherine and their two boys. He is a triathlete and avid outdoor enthusiast, active in several running and triathlon clubs, and can be found year-round in the White Mountains of New Hampshire hiking, ski touring or climbing rock and ice.

Vickie Dills

Vickie Dills
Vickie Dills is an O2X Injury Prevention Specialist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1999 and later completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons College. Vickie embraces the concept of evidence-based rehabilitation. In treating physical therapy patients, she draws upon current research to incorporate scientifically validated methods into her daily practice. In March 2016, she co-authored an article titled “Return to Play Following Sports Hernia Surgery”, which was published in “Clinics in Sports Medicine”.Vickie is also a licensed private pilot and a certified SCUBA diver. Prior to pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, she worked in a trauma center operating room under the direction of the anesthesia department. Vickie served as an active duty Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. She holds numerous certifications, including Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Certified HawkGrips Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Specialist, Certified ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT), Certified Strength and Agility Coach (CSAC), Dry Needling for Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sport Performance, and Training for Warriors Instructor Certified, among others.

Maria Urso

Maria Urso
Dr. Maria Urso is an O2X Nutrition Specialist. Dr. Urso is a scientific advocate for optimal health and nutrition. She followed her passion for science and health and obtained her PhD in human physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While that degree led her to a career as a scientist, first as an Active Duty soldier in the Army, then in Medical Affairs for industry, she continues to follow her passion for health and nutrition by serving as an advocate and educator. Her philosophy is that nutrition and fitness should be for life, not a single event (or outfit). To do this, we need to follow scientifically-sound and sustainable practices, not the latest story or fad from the media. Maria uses her education in biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition, as well as personal experiences with competitive running, to develop nutrition and exercise plans that make sense and allow her ‘students’ to eat and train for life. She understands that this is an ever-changing field, and staying on top of the latest research is critical. She has published over 30 papers in scientific journals and several book chapters, but she is most comfortable when using her scientific background to write or speak about nutrition and fitness practices. In her free time, Maria loves to run, swim, hike, adventure travel, and read.

Erik Bustillo

Erik Bustillo
Erik Bustillo is an O2X Nutrition Specialist and serves as the first Performance Dietitian for the United States Navy’s Human Performance Optimization (HPO) initiative. He is a Registered Dietitian and former Vice President, ambassador, and fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Erik is also a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the ISSN, a Certified Strength Coach through the National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF), and a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
He specializes in reading and understanding blood/lab values that have a direct effect on human physiology and one’s ability to perform. Several fields of expertise include energy improvement, performance recovery, weight loss, working with professional/elite athletes, stress management, inspirational communication, mindset, and habit change. Erik has been in the field for over 15 years and knows that nutrition is an elemental factor in well-being & performance; he has been and is currently involved in conducting research studies. He has worked with tactical athletes throughout his entire career and never plans to stop.
His mission is to make this world a better place, and he strives to accomplish this by helping others achieve their health and life goals. He believes that with hard work and determination, everyone is capable of accomplishing what they set their mind to. He enjoys training on a regular basis, as he feels what we do in fitness (the weight room, gym, field, etc.) translates to the real world. Erik practices this by playing sports, getting outdoors, high-intensity training, weightlifting, CrossFit™, and improving his aerobic fitness by running and chasing his dog.
