Joseph Adamchak
Joe grew up exploring the mountains of Northern Idaho before graduating from the University of Idaho in 2005 with degrees in Athletic Training and Physical Education. After becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2008 and served the university's athletic department, providing coverage for Logger football and baseball. He began his clinical career at 3 Dimensional Physical Therapy, specializing in sports outpatient orthopedics, foot and ankle rehabilitation, and running injuries, where his work with local fire, police, and sheriff’s departments first ignited his passion for working with tactical athletes. In 2019, he moved to Stuttgart, Germany, with his wife—an Active Duty Army Physician—to join the SOCOM Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program, helping develop the Human Performance program at Special Operations Command Europe. Following his return to the U.S. in 2022, he worked with Marine Special Operations Command in North Carolina before relocating to Western New York in the fall of 2025 to serve as an in-season Physical Therapist for the Buffalo Bills and launch his private practice, Valley Ridge Performance Physical Therapy, in Ellicottville. A dual Board-Certified specialist in both Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Joe is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with advanced certifications in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulation. When he isn't in the clinic or on the sidelines, he enjoys training for endurance sports, hunting, and spending time with his wife and three young boys.
