The O2X Tactical Performance Podcast: Episode 10 – Scott Ziegler

Scott Ziegler | City of Detroit Firefighter + O2X Instructor

Scott Ziegler is an O2X Assistant Instructor, meaning he facilitates our program at in-person events with tactical athletes from around country.

At 35 years old, he has been a Firefighter/EMT for 16 years. Before becoming a career firefighter he was volunteer, worked on an ambulance, and in an Emergency Room as a tech.

He was hired into the City of Highland Park’s Fire Department in 2009. Highland Park, geographically, is a small city completely surrounded by Detroit. Its fire department operates at an extremely high tempo (see link below).

In 2014, he was hired by the City of Detroit Fire Department and is currently stationed on the west-side of the city on Truck 25 which resides with Engine 53.

Scott is a certified CrossFit coach and also works for the fire-fighter non-profit, 555 Fitness, as one of their social media managers.
