
Tim Bayley
Tim Bayley is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Mental Performance with Berkeley Public Safety. In this role, he helps public safety professionals develop the mental tools needed to perform at a high level, navigate challenges, and excel both on and off the job. His work emphasizes building strong relationships and empowering individuals and teams to pursue their goals while staying grounded in the demands of their daily responsibilities.
Tim brings extensive experience as both a high-level athlete and mental performance expert. A former British Champion in the 800 meters, he competed internationally for Great Britain and recorded multiple sub-four-minute miles during his post-collegiate career. He was recruited to the United States on a track and field scholarship at Iona University, where he became a two-time All-American, NCAA runner-up, and later an inductee into the Iona Hall of Fame. He has also provided private consultancy services to clients worldwide, applying sport and performance psychology principles across a range of performance domains.
Tim holds a doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. He lives in California with his wife, Priscilla, and their two sons, Ethan and Logan. Outside of work, he remains active through running and strength training, and enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and supporting Brighton & Hove Albion.
