Rudy Aguilar is an O2X On-Site Human Performance Specialist specializing in Injury Prevention as a Certified Athletic Trainer with the City of El Monte Police Department. In this role, Rudy applies his extensive expertise in athletic training and injury prevention to support the health and performance of law enforcement officers, ensuring they are physically prepared to meet the demands of their roles.Before joining O2X, Rudy built a distinguished career in athletic training, most notably serving as the Head Athletic Trainer for Pasadena City College from 1997 to 2024. During this time, he coordinated sports medicine services for 16 intercollegiate sports, playing a critical role in athlete health and performance. Rudy also served as the Head Athletic Trainer for La Cañada High School and South Pasadena High School, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in sports medicine. Beyond traditional athletics, Rudy worked with MMA fighters, including those competing in the UFC and local organizations, leveraging his expertise to enhance their performance and recovery.Rudy earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from California State University of Long Beach and a Master of Education from Azusa Pacific University. He is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. A dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, Rudy enjoys staying active and continually expanding his skills both professionally and personally.
