Joey Tierney
Joey Tierney is a Federal Business Development Representative at O2X Human Performance, where he draws on his military leadership and human performance experience to develop client relationships and expand access to solutions that enhance readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Having worked directly with military aviators and federal personnel, Joey brings a firsthand understanding of the role human performance programs can play in supporting individual well-being and mission success.
Prior to joining O2X, Joey served as an Aerospace Physiologist in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in aviation physiology, hypoxia recognition, and physiological training for military aircrew. At Joint Base San Antonio–Lackland, he served as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and supported the management and delivery of aircrew physiological training programs. He later served as a Human Performance Flight Commander at Holloman Air Force Base, where he led a multidisciplinary team of strength and conditioning coaches, physical therapists, and cognitive performance specialists supporting more than 700 F-16 and MQ-9 aviators. Following his military service, Joey transitioned into federal workforce health promotion at Hanscom Air Force Base. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at Northeastern University.
Joey resides in Massachusetts and enjoys staying physically active, tackling home improvement projects, and spending time with his fiancée.
