
Jess Moffitt
Dr. Jess Moffitt, Psy.D., is an O2X Mental Performance and Resilience Specialist. Jess is a psychologist whose work focuses on assessment, selection, and performance in high-stakes environments. She specializes in understanding how individuals perform under pressure and helping elite teams and organizations make better decisions about talent, development, and team dynamics.
Dr. Moffitt has worked with the military for the past sixteen years. She has multiple combat deployments and has spent over 24 months in combat environments, providing psychological support, including personnel selection and training, coaching, consultation, and traumatic event/crisis management to individuals and teams across the U.S and internationally, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and other locations.
Her work spans both performance and behavioral health within high-performing populations. She develops and leads courses that train specialists in personnel selection, advanced psychological assessment, leadership development, and behavioral health care within special operations environments. Dr. Moffitt is a certified professional coach, and she also serves as the director of a post-doctoral fellowship in assessment and selection, where she mentors psychologists in the application of evidence-based evaluation methods in complex operational settings.
In addition to her teaching, training, and consultation roles, she oversees behavioral health care and systems across organizations, helping integrate psychological expertise into leadership, resilience, and performance support for high-performing teams. Jess was born and raised in Colorado, and she now lives in North Carolina with her husband and four children.
