Bobby Schlote is an O2X Mental Performance Specialist. Bobby is motivated to help others strive to be the best version of themselves on a consistent basis. He applies his knowledge and expertise in the field of Sport and Performance Psychology to help individuals and teams optimize their mental performance and unlock their inner potential.He began his career working with amateur and collegiate athletes before transitioning his passion to the military community. Over the years, Bobby has worked with over 40,000 Soldiers as a Performance Expert for the US Army’s Ready and Resilient (R2) program. During this time, he served as a Lead Performance Expert for various Basic Combat Training Battalions, and as the Lead Performance Expert for the United States Army Drill Sergeant Academy (USADSA) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. While at the USADSA he worked with thousands of Drill Sergeant Leaders and Drill Sergeant Candidates on mastering psychological skills for personal and professional applications, as they are tasked with developing the next generation of the US Army. His passion for the Army expands beyond the classroom and in 2016 he joined the South Carolina Army National Guard. Upon receiving his commission in 2018 as a Signal Officer, he served as a Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Brigade Human Resource Officer in a traditional guard role (part-time). He is currently in a full-time role with the South Carolina Army National Guard as the Battalion Training Officer for a Cyber Protection Battalion. Bobby received his B.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University and his M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Georgia Southern University. When he is not wearing his uniform or working with those who do, he spends as much quality time as possible with his wife and their two daughters in their hometown of Columbia, South Carolina.
