Overview
The Massachusetts National Guard has partnered with O2X to provide holistic performance education and training to improve the health of the 8,500 Airmen and Soldiers. The main program objectives are to increase the combat readiness, retention, and resilience of the force as well as prepare the population to pass the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) and Air Force Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

- A series of drill weekend workshops covering nutrition, sleep science, stress, resilience, injury prevention, and conditioning – presented by a team of O2X’s elite specialists from all over the country.
- A full-time, on-site O2X Human Performance Specialist, dedicated to this program
- A part-time, on-site O2X Human Performance Nutrition Specialist dedicated to this program
- Individual injury assessment and body composition screenings
- Personalized training programs and dietary recommendations
- Access to the O2X virtual resources including the Tactical Performance App and Portal
Outcomes

- 3x week in-person gym-based training session for service members with personal instruction from O2X specialist
- Virtual yoga and training sessions available for service members
- Detailed reporting of means and SD of different metrics such as weight, BMI, body fat percentage, muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, and injury vulnerability scores. This information is further broken down by sex and by unit (using Unit Identification Codes).
- Quarterly reporting to TAG and other members of the senior leadership in the Command Ready and Resilient Council (CR2C)
- 100 Soldiers and 200 Airmen participating in 8-day performance optimization trainings that are custom designed for MANG.
