Talent Acquisition and HR Manager



As a Talent Acquisition and HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and training processes for our team of Human Performance Specialists, as well as managing various aspects of human resources functions within the organization. You will work closely with the Director of Client Services and other stakeholders to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. You will also play a critical role in creating a positive work culture, promoting employee engagement, and driving HR initiatives to support organizational growth.
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their talent needs and provide strategic guidance on recruitment best practices
- Conduct thorough interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations to management
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, applicant tracking, background checks, and on-boarding
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing methods, such as networking, social media, and industry events
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, exit interviews, and documentation
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions
- Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Provide expertise and recommendations on HR policies and practices to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and culture-building activities
- Lead and manage HR projects, such as HR policy updates, employee engagement surveys, and performance management programs
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and HR management to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Military, government, and/or public safety experience is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources roles, with a proven track record of success. Government contracting experience is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and best practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
